Spliethof was a standout on both sides of the ball this weekend. Was all over the barrel in BP and i and in-gam with a leading 88 mph exit velo adn was tops in arm velocity amongst his peers.
McLaughlin was on the barrel in game racking up a double and a single on Sunday. Showed well defensively with a clean round in the the out
Hemsley stood out on the mound. Stands on a projectable 6'2/180 frame. Ran the fastball to 75 mph showcasing a solid 3-pitch mix he threw for strikes.
Callaghan showed well on the mound during gameplay, filling up the strike zone at a high rate. Displayed fundamentally sound mechanics and worked at a quick pace. Ran his heater into the mid-70's with some natural run, while mixing in an effective CB/CH combo.
Jimenez was one of the better in-game performers all weekend. Was all over the barrel worked numerous quality AB's both days. Showcased a strong accurate arm in his defensive round topping 83 mph across the diamond.
Caldwell displayed solid skills and upside for a ‘30. Showed fundamental actions in the INF. The swing is still developing, but he showed strength and intent, producing hard pull-side contact.
Strong overall showing for Dehn this past weekend. In BP, he was consistently on the barrel with a short, compact swing that produced hard contact through the middle of the field. Worked a few quality in-game AB's as well.
Hardy showed intriguing traits on the mound. Clean, repeatable mover from a stretch only operation. Worked linear and online down the mound. Pounded the zone with a 70 mph heater and a slurvy breaker, cruising through opposing hitters.
Baltz has a long, lean, projectable frame with a ton of room to add. CH has some tumble and kills the spin. FB has some run and ride. Quick, live, loose arm for the age. Promising.
