2025 Top Prospects
Brett Pedersen  C - 2025 - Martisnburg, WV
Uncommitted

Pedersen is a strong 6-2/200 primary catcher whose best tool is his right handed bat. He has a pull and lift approach at the plate with big raw bat speed and impact. There is definitely a spot for him at the next level.

2026 Top Prospects
Dominic Shaver  1B - 2026 - Lutherville, MD
Uncommitted

Shaver is listed at 6-2/205 and that undersells his strength and athleticism. He gets to his right handed power very easily with a pull oriented approach. He's a quality athlete who moves well in the field and was 83 mph off the mound with a solid slider.

Carson Gayton  1B - 2026 - Chatham, VA
Uncommitted

Gayton is a very strong 6-3/205 athlete who really stood out for his arm strength, throwing an eye opening 95 mph from the outfield and 90 mph at first base. He needs to get with a good pitching coach and see what he can do on the mound.

2027 Top Prospects
Nico Moritz-Toledo  OF - 2027 - Gainesville, VA
Virginia Tech

Moritz-Toledo is a Top 100 player in the 2027 class nationally and already holds a commitment to Virginia Tech. He didn't get to show his 6.39 speed in the sixty but his combination of athleticism, bat speed and arm strength stands out.

Christian Gomez  OF - 2027 - Haymarket, VA
North Carolina

Gomez creates easy left-handed bat speed and made some of the hardest contact in both batting practice and in games. He's a live bodied athlete at 6-1/165 and projects very well in all areas.

Colby Fesler  SS - 2027 - Broadway, VA
Uncommitted

Fester is a strong athlete at 6-0/180 who probably projects best at third base. He was very good both defensively and offensively and plays with a young and positive confidence that was nice to see in a talented player.

Mark Williams Jr.  3B - 2027 - Indian Head, Maryland, MD
Uncommitted

Williams stands out with his very strong 6-3/200 build. He has some work to do to get to all that strength in his swing but stood out athletically with a 89 mph arm and good actions in the outfield while also throwing 85 mph off the mound.

Sammy Reed  RHP - 2027 - McLean, VA
Uncommitted

Reed stood out for his extra big and long 6-6/210 build and was surprisingly athletic for his size and age. He was up to 82 mph from the mound and 85 mph in infield drills and had a simple and repeatable swing that could develop real power in the future.

Jb Young  C - 2027 - Hickory, NC
Uncommitted

Young's best present attribute as a player is that he keeps everything simple and repeatable both in his right handed swing and his defensive work behind the plate and in the infield. When he starts adding strength to his 5-10/155 frame, he'll really improve quickly.

Nayan Dominguez  SS - 2027 - Shepherdstown, WV
Uncommitted

Dominguez stood out for his defensive actions and tools in the middle infield. He's a twitchy athlete who plays low to the ground and has quick feet and hands and plenty of arm strength.

2028 Top Prospects
Ryan Gaines  RHP - 2028 - Haymarket, VA

Gaines has a very projectable 6-3/170 build and is already throwing 84 mph from the mound and from the outfield. He's a nice athlete who also has some potential with the bat as a left-handed hitter with a loose swing and feel for the barrel.

James Bowman  OF - 2028 - Baldwin, MD

Bowman has a nice 6-1/165 build that has some present strength and room for plenty more. He showed very good right handed bat speed for a freshman and made some loud contact that stood out. Bowman also has solid young arm strength, having thrown 81 mph from the outfield and the mound.

Jerome-Alejandro (JA) Stephens  OF - 2028 - Baltimore, MD

Stephens is a bouncy athlete with lots of quick twitch in his 5-10/155 build. He's a left-handed hitter with some whip and looseness in his swing and lots of physical and athletic projection.

Andrew Swanick  OF - 2028 - Mendham, NJ

Swanick is extra big and strong for a freshman with a 6-4/190 frame and that strength plays in his bat with some adjustments at the plate. He also has potential on the mound, with a 78 mph fastball and very good feel for his curveball.
