Green Vs Red Game Highlights

5/26/2019

Tynan Gunn (2022 1B, Cedar Park, TX) The physical 2022 grad showed gap to gap power and the ability to turn the barrel with a loud double off the left center field fence. 

Tanner Spallina (2020 C, Goodyear, AZ) Showed good hustle and speed out of the box stretching a hard hit line drive base hit to center field into a double. 
 

Jack Roode (2020 C, Denver, CO) Showed the ability to turn the barrel with good bat speed turning on a loud home run well over a high left field fence. 

Braxton Antonelli (2020 SS, Thornton, CO) Flashed line drive power to the pull side gap and good speed with a loud double into the left center gap followed up with stealing third base. In his last at bat of the game Antonelli waited back on a curveball and took it the other way for a RBI single. 
Cole Stocks (2021 OF, Paradise Valley, AZ) Displayed impressive pull side power turning the barrel on a inside fastball roping a double off the left center field fence. 
Henry Frech (2021 SS, Salt Lake City, UT) Took a hanging curveball to the left center field fence for a loud double showing good pull side power and speed on the bases. 
Luke Byler (2022 SS, Castle Rock, CO) Didn’t miss a fastball driving it to the left center field fence for a loud double in his last at bat of the game. On the mound Byler showed a two pitch mix keeping hitters off balance mixing a fastball with late run up to 77 miles per hour and a sweeping 10/4 curveball at 72 miles per hour.
 
Joseph Ciardullo (2020 RHP, Parker, CO) Was impressive in his four innings of work only allowing one hit and one walk while striking out 7. The 2020 grad features a two pitch mix including a heavy fastball up to 85 miles per hour creating a lot of swing and miss complemented by a sweeping curveball at 71 miles per hour. 
 

Blake Conrad (2021 C, San Marcos, CA) Collected two base hits on the day starting off with a hard single up the middle showing good barrel control and following that up by showing his good speed beating out a infield single. 

 


Orange vs Purple Game Highlights

Ben Whipple (2021 RHP, Castle Pines, CO) Good feel and break on the curveball using off the fastball up to 83 miles per hour with occasional cut. Has swing and miss potential on the mound from the right side.

Logan Carlisle (2021 RHP, Littleton, CO) Strong projectable righthanded pitcher running a heavy fastball up to 90 miles per hour with cutting action. Will go to both a sharp curveball and sinking changeup later in counts. 

Carson Brown (2020 RHP, Castle Pines, CO) Commands a fastball at 85 miles per hour with cutting life. Throws a high amount of strikes and creates good ground ball contact. 

Cameron Yuran (2021 1B, Centennial, CO) Continues to impress this weekend with the bat in hand. Drove a double into the opposite field corner. Has a good mix of high contact and power potential. 

Black vs Gold Game Highlights

Braden Kramer (2022 3B, Colorado Springs, CO) Kramer displayed quick hands through the zone with the ability to turn the barrel with authority. When squared, produced loud, hard contact off the barrel with carry to the gaps. Doubled off the left field wall on a line in his second at-bat of the game.

Andrew Lee (2022 3B, Fruita, CO) Displayed good balance at the plate throughout the game with a linear barrel plane. Showed the ability to work to all field and double to the right center field gap in his first at-bat of the game. The 2022 grad also worked 2 scoreless inning on the mound generating good downhill plane with a fastball that topped at 80 miles per hour.

Ty Kennedy (2022 SS, Parker, CO) Kennedy showed a knack for finding the barrel and consistently produced sharp contact on a line. Singled sharply up the middle in his first at bat and followed in with a hard line drive out to right field in his second at-bat.

Purple vs Gray Game Highlights

Connor Thomas (2020 C, Farmington, UT) Really looks to get the bat head out and turn the barrel out front working to the pull side. Drove a ball to the fence in straight away left field for an easy double

Derek Wagler (2020 SS, Rifle, CO) Consistently controls the barrel and puts the ball in play. High contact hitter collecting a couple of singles in the game. Manipulates the barrel well and drives the ball all over the field.

Jessie James Hager (2020 MIF, Highlands Ranch, CO) Really good with the bat in his hands during the game. Made hard contact on a single into the opposite field gap. Also took the mound and got weak contact with consistency. 

Christian Hafey (2020 OF, Grand Junction, CO) Gap to gap approach with a naturally lifted barrel plane. Can drive the ball well with strength at the point of contact. Hit a long triple into the opposite field gap. 

Westin Corless (2021 RHP, Salem, UT) Shows some pop off the bat when working to the pull side. Took an inside pitch down the line for a two-run homerun. 

Gray vs Orange Game Highlights

Caden Storts (2020 RHP, Piedmont, OK) Effective on the mound through three innings allowing just a couple of hits. Filled the zone with the fastball touching 83 miles per hour and sitting 77-81, while mixing in a short slider off-speed pitch. 

Jacob Miller-Bopp (2022 MIF, Barhamsville, VA) Aggressive hitter in the box with the ability to manipulate the barrel and consistently square the ball up. Collected a hard hit single in the game.

Preston Winget (2021 OF, Draper, UT) Clean and athletic delivery on the mound. Arm strength plays well running the fastball up to 81 miles per hour consistently showing hard fading life through the zone. Was effective at getting softer ground ball outs.


3-Gray Vs 4-Green Highlights

Emilio Corona (2020 OF, San Luis Obispo, CA) The University of Washington commit showed loud pop throughout the entire day but showed it especially with a loud double into the left center field gap showing his ability to turn the barrel and drive the ball with authority. 

Harrison Coble (2021 LHP, Richmond, VA) The lefty features three pitches for a strike including a running fastball up to 82 miles per hour complemented by a big 12/6 curveball at 69 miles per hour and a fading changeup at 73 miles per hour. Coble was able to collect 4 strike outs while allowing one hit and no walks. 

Westin Corless (2021 RHP, Salem, UT) The athletic 2021 grad showed an athletic delivery while striking out four in his three innings pitched. Corless flashed a four seam fastball up to 84 miles per hour to go along with a fading changeup at 72 miles per hour and a hard biting 2 seam fastball at 81 miles per hour. 

Christian Hafey (2020 OF, Grand Junction, CO) Flashed pull side power turning the barrel on a loud RBI double down the left field line in his first at bat of the day. Also showed his ability to impact the game in the outfield with multiple impressive catches including a long running catch into the left center field gap. 

Wyatt Hardy (2021 RHP, Parker, CO) Featuring a high intent delivery and the ability to hide the ball well Hardy created a lot of swing and misses with a heavy fastball up to 86 miles per hour complemented by a sharp curveball at 71 miles per hour. In his three innings of work hardy allowed one hit and one walk while collecting 7 strike outs.  

Red vs Purple Game Highlights

Jaden Carr (2021 OF, Algonquin, IL) Really showing off the speed in games. Hit a shallow fly ball that landed and was able to leg out a double as well as steal third base late in the inning.

Braden Schiffner (2021 SS, Denver, CO) Doubled to deep centerfield with a high fly ball. Has the ability to drive the ball to the deep parts of the field with a quick trigger and fluid swing. Added a second double late in the game with a couple of RBI as well. 

Hunter Beindorff (2020 RHP, Lone Tree, CO) Got stronger as his outing went touching 82 miles per hour late with occasional running action. Was effective getting outs quickly creating weaker contact off bats.

Alex Zang (2021 C, Salt Lake City, UT) Shows a quick barrel through the zone with a naturally elevated plane. Drove a long fly ball to straight away center that bounced over the fence for an RBI ground rule double. 

Cameron Yuran (2021 1B, Centennial, CO) Showed a high contact swing with the ability to put the ball in play on a line. Collected a couple of base hits throughout the game. 

Cole Stocks (2021 OF, Paradise Valley, AZ) Kept the hands in and drove a ball fair down the line in left field. Showed some speed around the bases legging out at triple. 

Red vs Orange Game Highlights

5/25/2019

Hunter Graham (2020 SS, Castle Pines, CO) Kept the hands in tight on a double down the opposite field line. Shows off some speed around the bases as well.

Kaleb Woltz (2020 RHP, Aurora, CO) Quick and fluid arm action into release running the fastball up to 87 miles per hour with life through the zone. Also flashed a good changeup with fading action at the bottom of the zone, as well as a slower breaking curveball with sharpness and some lateral movement. 

Eric Romero (2021 OF, Rio Rancho, NM) Really turns the barrel well working to the pull side of the field. Hit a triple into the right center field gap that rolled to the wall, showing off the good speed. 

Ricardo Santiago (2020 OF, Tucson, AZ) Good stuff on the mound from the right side. Creates deceptive plane on the fastball at 81 miles per hour in the bottom half of the zone. Creates a lot of weak contact and will occasionally get some swing and miss on the breaking ball as well. 

1-Gold vs 2-Black Game Highlights

5/25/2019

Ryan Anderson (2022 3B, Erie, CO) The 2022 grad showed good strength at contact with the ability to drive the ball to all fields. Collected two extra base hits in game action including a triple to deep center field.

Jack Briest (2022 OF, Parker, CO) The Parker native displayed good bat speed while turning the barrel to contact with authority. Produced a loud, hard double to the left center field gap in his first at-bat of the game to drive in a run.

Ty Kennedy (2022 SS, Parker, CO) Kennedy also collected two hits in the game showing a knack for finding the barrel. The 2022 grad showed a mature approach at the plate with the balance to work to all fields.

Braden Doumer-Boyd (2022 C, Parker, CO) The 2022 catcher was constantly on the bases in game action picking up 3 singles in his only 3 at-bats of the game. Once on, Doumer-Boyd also showed to be a presence on the bases picking up two stolen bases.

Braden Kramer (2022 3B, Colorado Springs, CO) Kramer displayed good raw power at the plate drive the ball to all fields throughout the game. Showed good hand speed and barrel control working an opposite field double to right field in his first at-bat, and followed it with a loud double off the left field wall in his second at-bat of the game. Kramer also worked 3 scoreless innings on the mound while allowing only 1 hit and struck out 3 batters.

Orange vs Purple Game Highlights

5/25/2019

Spencer Whitfield (2020 C, McPherson, KS) Compact swing path working the middle of the field well. Stays back and looks to drive the ball. Collected a couple of singles in the game.

Tyler Smith (2020 RHP, Littleton, CO) Was solid on the mound for three innings of work. Utilizes a hard fastball with life through the zone topping out at 82 miles per hour while mixing in a curveball with feel. Finished with four strikeouts. 

Jacob Miller-Bopp (2022 MIF, Barhamsville, VA) Was very effective on the mound in two innings of work. Mixes pitches well with a fastball up to 80 and both a curveball and changeup thrown for strikes.

Batting Practice Highlights

5/25/2019

Jack Briest (2022 OF, Parker, CO) Lefthanded hitter with strength in build. Really gets the hands going at foot plant with fluidity and displaying barrel speed through the zone. Direct path to the ball repeating mechanics in the box.

Christian Eiroa (2020 C, Miami, FL) Big and strong frame swinging the bat with intent to drive the ball to the deep parts of the field. Works through some linear shifts to contact impacting the ball with consistency.

Adam Moser (2021 OF, Boulder, CO) Really gets hands going early producing high end bat speed. Looks to do damage in the box with a naturally elevated plane while showing feel for turning the barrel out front. Sent several balls over the fence to the pull side and middle of the field.

Foster Engelhardt (2020 3B, North Richland Hills, TX)  Sets up in a slightly open stance with a pretty direct path to the ball. Utilizes a rotational shift to contact while looking to elevate through a lifted barrel plane. Will create hard jump off the barrel when able to get squared up.

Ben Whipple (2021 RHP, Castle Pines, CO) Large frame in the box with present strength throughout. Looks to impact the ball out front creating leverage with swing. Works the middle of the field well with power that should continue to develop.

Connor Thomas (2020 C, Farmington, UT) Utilizes a short lift and replace leg lift trigger getting to plant early and staying on time consistently. Long barrel path through the zone working to extension with ease. Works the middle of the field with occasional jump to the gaps as well. 

Colby Shade (2020 OF, Windsor, CO) Took one of the more impressive batting practice sessions of the day showing good feel for the barrel. Works a gap to gap high contact approach with a short shift to the ball.

Tynan Gunn (2022 1B, Cedar Park, TX) Really shows off the power potential as one of the top power threats of the day. Consistently created strong torque in the lower half and worked the barrel out front driving several balls out of the park to the pull side. 

Kaleb Woltz (2020 RHP, Aurora, CO) Keeps the hands back through a hard swing generating bat speed through the zone. Looks to the pull side with feel for the barrel and power potential in the bat.

Preston Winget (2021 OF, Draper, UT) Put on display a contact heavy approach with occasional lift in the swing. Works both the middle and pull side parts of the field with a smooth and fluid bat path.

Riley Hawthorne (2020 MIF, Collierville, TN) One of the better power threats from the left side of the plate on the day. Shows a swing that should translate well to games with a mix of barrel feel and elevated lift when squared.
