Johnny Badala (2026, Nokomis, Fla.) had a solid round of BP, being able to stay on the barrel and produce some good contact. He impacted balls well pull-side with some good line drives. Projectable actions in the box with a good feel for the barrel.
Ellington Hodge (2024, Avondale Estates, Ga.) showed off an athletic look in the batter’s box during his round of BP. Had some good bat speed with the ability to produce hard-hit line drives. Worked the middle of the field with great contact, being on the barrel. A couple of pull-side knocks mixed in his round as well.
Everett Marshall (2025, Lighthouse Point, Fla.) was another player with an athletic look. Used a leg-lift, closing up to get on time and drive pitches. Had great control of the barrel with good accuracy. Drove the ball well pull-side with some strength at impact. Impressive round of BP with hitter-ish actions in the box.
Lenin Nuñez (Miami, Fla.) swung the bat well from both sides of the plate. He had strength in the swing with bat speed present. Impacted the ball well and nearly left the yard pull-side as a righty, hitting the top of the wall in the air after lifting it with strength behind it.
Nicholas Palmi (2024, Saint Cloud, Fla.) had a solid round of BP, almost leaving the yard on his first swing of the day. The switch-hitter was impressive from both sides but was able to unload on pitches from the left side. Good strength with a pull-side approach, fantastic round top-to-bottom.
Connor Re (2025, Boca Raton, Fla.) was able to get on the barrel and drive the ball well. The right-hander had some strength at impact and was able to work the opposite-field gap quite well during his round of BP.
Carsan Strolla (2024, Royal Palm Beach, Fla.) worked the whole field during his round of BP, including a home run pull-side, lifting it beyond the wall in left. Strolla used an inward stride with some strength present. Worked the opposite field gap.
Logan Summers (2024, High Springs, Fla.) had a wide base and showed off the strength to barrel balls up during his round of BP. Worked pull-side mostly and was able to get the barrel to it with the hands out front and strength in the frame. Fantastic round from the right-handed hitter.
Derek Datil (2024, Sabana Hoyos, P.R.) had an exceptional round of BP, showing off some strength from the left side. He had some bat speed and was able lift the ball, especially pull-side. Good turns as he swung with a great round top-to-bottom.
Kyle Fernandes (2025, Plantation, Fla.) worked from an upright stance, working pull-side with the ball coming off well. The left-handed hitter produced solid line drives during the round of BP with fluid actions.
Sebastian Negron (2024, Albonito, P.R.) swung it well from the right side during his round of BP with some strength in the frame, working well to the pull-side gap. Pieced together a quality round with good control of the barrel showing.
