Sunday Game Highlights

8/14/2022

Tyler Bell (2024 SS, Frankfort, IL) was outstanding today for the Gold team. The left handed hitting shortstop had multiple extra base hits, laces doubles to LF and RCF. The Pittsburg commit, showed advanced barrel control and the ability to have power to all parts of the field.

Eli Bryant (2025 SS, Beaver Dam, WI) had a quality day on the mound today. The 2-way athlete showed high upside on the mound, pounding the zone with a low-80's fastball. Flashed a quality curveball as well. Ripped a single the opposite way for an RBI.

Brady Lash (2024 LHP, Medina, MN) showed high upside as a 2-way athlete in the 2024 class. The left handed pitcher has a quality 3-pitch mix, running the fastball up to 82 MPH. Lash also crushed a double the opposite way off a mid-80's fastball. Clean, linear bat path.

Boden Meier (2024 RHP, Fargo, ND) used his extremely long levers, to get extended out front for a deep triple. Meier has huge upside in his frame with natural loft and power in his swing. Up to 89 MPH on the mound yesterday, as well.

Aidan Perdreau (2024 1B, Mukwonago, WI) showed off some big time pull side juice today, driving a HR very deep to left field. Perdreau waited back on a breaking ball nicely, and matched plane well to contact for a huge swing today.

Maddux Frese (2023 SS, Norway, IA) had a big day, once again today. The RHP/SS ran the FB up to 83 MPH on the mound, flashing an above average CH/CB combination as well. Frese contributed 2 singles during game action as well, both up the middle or to the opposite field.

William Hess (2024 3B, Hartland, WI) showed big upside on the mound this afternoon. The strong, durable RHP ran the FB up to 84 MPH. He located well within the zone and showed natural movements as a RHP. 2-way potential at the next level.

Samuel Kemmer (2025 SS, Johnston, IA) had a nice double down the LF line today. Kemmer got his hands out in front and kept the barrel on plane nicely to rope a FB down the line. Strong build in the SS who projects for power at the next level.

Elias Alvarado (2025 RHP, Chicago, IL) showed good hands today in the box hitting, lining a long 2B to CF. He did a quality job of keeping his hands inside the ball and letting the barrel do work out front. Good feel in the box.

Kayden Anderson (2024 SS, Glenwood, IA) was consistent all day long. The SS/RHP got up to 82 MPH on the bump today, showing off a low spinning FB. His hit tools are loud as always, driving multiple loud singles to the left side for solid basehits. The frame is excellent and really projects to hit at a high level in the future.

Rocco Loffredo (2024 RHP, Stilwell, KS) showed he could handle the bat as well today during the game portion. The RHP/1B had numerous hits today, including a deep double to CF. Loffredo gets extended so easy and has the long levers to create natural loft in his bat path. Really nice overall operation here.

Bode Nagelmaker (2025 C, Dubuque, IA) used excellent hit skills to carry himself at the plate today. The LHH catcher had a long 2B down the left field line, where he was able to drive a middle-middle FB for an XBH. Nagelmaker looked solid behind the plate as well, receiving upper 80's pitching well.

Zac Henderson (2023 OF, Cedar Rapids, IA) was on fire today for the White team. He had multiple hits, including a long 2B to CF that burned the centerfielder. Showed nice bat speed with strength in the frame. He also jumped on the mound and got up to 81 MPH.

Aden O’Donnell (2023 RHP, Bettendorf, IA) had an electric start on the mound this morning. O'Donnell was up to 88 MPH with heavy action and quality secondary offerings. Very impressive look this morning from him, and it looks as if he is continuing to develop each time we see him.

Cooper Philbrick (2023 C, Kansas City, MO) had a loud day at the plate today. The LHH catcher had multiple doubles during the game portion this afternoon. Lacing one to RCF and the also the other way over the LF head. Keeps his hands back nicely, and in a strong hitting position. Quality 2023 prospect.

Saturday Game Highlights

8/13/2022

Clayton Green (2025 RHP, Broomfield, CO) threw really well for the Gold team today. Green throws from an over-the-top slot with a live arm. Works down the mound well, regularly running the fastball inside to the right-handed hitters. He ran the fastball up to 86 MPH.

Boden Meier (2024 RHP, Fargo, ND) had a clean 3 innings of work on the mound today. The uncommitted Junior hit 89 MPH on the gun with a 2-plane fastball. Really projectable frame who showed huge upside on the mound. Flashed a quality secondary pitch as well.

Drew Rerick (2024 RHP, Fargo, ND) was electric today for the Gold team today on the mound. The Missouri commit, flashed a mid-80's cutting fastball that reached as high as 89 MPH. Rerick gets great extension out front with good athleticism in his extra-large frame.

Jackson Renz (2023 RHP, Lakeville, MN) showed a quick arm on the mound today, going three innings with numerous strikeouts. Renz works under control on the mound with poise and advanced pitch ability traits. The righty ran the fastball up to 85 MPH with some 2-play tilt action.

Tyler Suttner (2024 RHP, Waukesha, WI) had a really nice outing today on the mound for the Navy team. The athletic righty worked down the mound easily and paired that with a quick arm action. Suttner topped at 84 MPH on the mound, but showed that he could put on velocity in the coming years.

Rocco Loffredo (2024 RHP, Stilwell, KS) has an extremely tall and projectable frame, showing a huge upside on the mound. The righty ran the fastball up to 86 MPH, with some riding action through the zone. Flashed a curveball that showed some promise as a quality secondary pitch in the future.

Brendan Tunink (2024 OF, Oregon, IL) had a huge day at the plate today. The LHH, had 3 hits with 1 XBH and 2 singles. Tunink has a lean, athletic frame that currently produces hard contact to all parts of the field. Handled a mid-upper 80's fastball today with no problem for a loud single back up the middle. Really big upside here.

John Cain (2023 OF, Elkhorn, NE) was seeing the ball extremely well today, as he picked up three hits in his four at-bats. Cain has been a breakout player thus far (ran a 6.60 second 60-yard dash and recorded throws at 90 mph from the outfield during workouts), and that success obviously continued into the games. He collected two sharply-hit singles up the middle, along with a base knock to left field.

Gavin Darling (2024 3B, Lennon, MI) produced some loud contact in his first game of the day, as he crushed a double to the left-center field wall. The right-handed hitter displayed good bat speed and he did a good job of keeping his hands inside the ball. The primary third baseman showed defensive versatility, as he flashed good arm strength from behind the plate.

Riley Thuringer (2023 1B, Shakopee, MN) showcased his pop during BP and in the games today, as a smoked a double to left field in his second at-bat of the day. The physical, 6-foot-3, 195-pounder has obvious strength to the swing and natural loft in the bat path. He can really do damage if you leave a ball over the plate.

Cory Schilling (2023 3B, Gillette, WY) produced some loud contact in his first at-bat of the day, as he lifted a deep flyball to the wall in left field. What’s even more impressive is that Schilling kept his weight back on a two-strike curveball and was able to barrel the pitch and drive it with authority.

Issei Takahashi (2024 OF, Hartland, WI) was on fire in his last game of the day, as he collected two hits in his two at bats. In his first at-bat, he went with the pitch and lined a single over the third baseman’s head. He followed it up with an RBI triple in the right centerfield gap. Takahashi displayed a mature, table setter approach throughout the day, proving that he could impact the ball to all fields and get on base at a high rate.

Matthew Stoltenberg (2024 SS, Hiawatha, IA) showed quick hands and good barrel control, as he went with the pitch and laced a double down the right field line. Stoltenberg keeps his hands inside the baseball and shows a simple and on time approach.

Batting Practice Highlights

8/13/2022

Tyler Bell (2024 SS, Frankfort, IL) is an athletic switch-hitter who impressed from both sides of the plate. There is good strength in the 6-foot-1,175-pound frame, and he created loud pull side contact. He has quick hands and a whippy bat, and his feel for the barrel really stood out on the right side.

Gavin Darling (2024 3B, Lennon, MI) is a strong and physical corner infielder who can hit for power at the plate. He features an uphill bat path with a pull side approach, and he produces plenty of leverage with the lower half, resulting in loud contact off the barrel.

Boden Meier (2024 RHP, Fargo, ND) is a primary pitcher who showed real upside in the box. The right-handed hitter has a strong 6-foot-2, 185-pound frame, and he produced consistent line drive contact. He utilizes his upper body strength and heavy hands to create big jump off the barrel.

Aidan Perdreau (2024 1B, Mukwonago, WI) stands at an athletic and physical 6-foot-2, 210-pounds, and there is massive power potential present. His round was a loud one, as he punished the baseball when on time and squared. Pitchers should tread carefully when Perdreau is in the box.

Riley Thuringer (2023 1B, Shakopee, MN) is another right-handed bat whose strength really stood out in the box. Standing at 6-foot-3, 195-pounds, Thuringer is your prototypical power hitting first baseman. He swings with violent and dangerous intent, and the ball really flies off his barrel when he connects.

Kingston Kost (2026 1B, Des Moines, IA) is a young but physical bat who also showed plenty of dangerous intent in the box. He looked to drive the ball with authority, and he did so successfully, especially to the pull side. His 6-foot-3, 190-pound frame bodes well for the future, as does his present feel for the barrel.

Jackson Renz (2023 RHP, Lakeville, MN) showed a simple yet effective approach during his round. The operation was quiet, but the hand speed stood out, and he produced consistent barrels to his pull side.

Samuel Kemmer (2025 SS, Johnston, IA) put forth a solid showing during BP, as he drove the ball to his pull side with authority. He is a high-intent swinger with present strength in his 6-foot-2, 190-pound frame, and there is definite power potential moving forward.

Tyler Suttner (2024 RHP, Waukesha, WI) is another primary pitcher who put together a solid round of BP. Suttner has plenty of snap to the barrel and showed the ability to create lift consistently. The 6-foot-2, 160-pounder has plenty of room to fill in the frame and projects for added power down the road.

Issei Takahashi (2024 OF, Hartland, WI) is a contact-oriented hitter who profiles nicely as a leadoff man. He displayed excellent feel for the barrel with good balance to the swing and a middle of the field approach.

Elias Alvarado (2025 RHP, Chicago, IL) is a young prospect with a strong and physical frame. He was seeing the ball well during his round, as he found the barrel consistently and created hard contact to his pull side. There are some projectable traits to the swing and his power potential will continue to grow with time.

Kayden Anderson (2024 SS, Glenwood, IA) is an athletic and twitchy prospect with high upside in all facets of the game. The right-handed hitter utilizes a simple load and a gap to gap approach, and his opposite field power was impressive. He stayed inside the ball nicely and sent multiple line drives into right field.

Brendan Tunink (2024 OF, Oregon, IL) flashed a simple, middle of the field approach with violent intent, which lead to big jump off the barrel. The left-handed hitter creates natural separation and loft in the swing, and there is obvious strength present in his 5-foot-11, 165-pound frame.
