Banditos are 13U Champions

Banditos Black came out swinging in the Championship game--and they weren't going to let the Florida Stealth ruin their 9 game win streak. They came out as Champions of the 13U BCS Finals after winning 9-2.

2018 Cameron Godfrey (Klein Collins, TX) went 2-3 with a double for the Banditos, 2018 Greyson Kash (Hardin-Jefferson, TX) went 1-2 with a double and 2018 Cash Rugely (Cedar Ridge, TX) went 2-4 with 3 RBI's and 2 doubles.



The list keeps on rolling for the Banditos as 2018 Jose Gutierrez (Lamar, TX) went 2-3 with a RBI and a double and 2019 Reed Smith (Cy-Fair, TX) went 2-3 with 2 RBI's and 2 doubles as well. Finally, 2018 Kameron Johnson (Dickinson, TX) went 2-3 with 2 RBI's.



2018 Matthew Thompson (Cypress, TX) pitched a complete game for the Banditos, allowing just 2 runs and striking out 7. His fastball peaked at 78mph. Thompson competes on the mound, showed deceptive delivery and is effectively wild.



For the Stealth, 2018 Devin Roche (Fort Lauderdale, FL) went 2-2 with a double and 2018 Jordan Alvarez (Pembroke Pines, FL) went 2-4 with a double. 2018 Christian Lopez (Master Academy Lakes, FL) went 1-1 with a RBI and a double and 2018 Ryan Rivera (Jensen Beach, FL) went 2-4 with a RBI as well.



2019 Jordan Carrion (Doral Academy Charter, FL) pitched 3 1/3 innings for the Stealth and peaked his fastball at 76mph. He was around the plate with all pitches, showed good follow through, good hip rotation and works fast.


Florida Stealth fly by Black Hawks

Florida Stealth easily defeated the Weston Black Hawks 12-5 in this morning's 13U BCS Final Semi-final game. The Stealth now advance to face Banditos Black in the Championship game.

2018 Dane Dorsainvil (Wellington, FL) went 2-4 with 2 RBI's and a double for the Stealth and 2018 Devin Roche (Fort Lauderdale, FL) went 2-3 with 2 RBI's and a double. 2019 Christopher Ferara (Coral Springs Charter, FL) went 2-3 with 4 RBI's as well.



2018 Jordan Alvarez (Pembroke Pines, FL) pitched 4 innings for the Stealth, striking out 4 batters and peaking his fastball at 69mph. While batting, Alvarez went 1-2 with a double. 2020 Nelson Berkwich (Boca Raton Community, FL) pitched 3 innings, allowing 1 hit and no runs with 4 strikeouts. His fastball peaked at 73mph.



For the Black Hawks, 2018 Luis Diaz (Hialeah Senior, FL) went 1-2 with a RBI and 2018 Edgar Quintana (Hialeah Senior, FL) went 1-1 with 2 RBI's.


Banditos jump to championship game

Banditos Black scored late in the 8th inning to send their team to the Championship game of the 13U BCS Finals. The Banditos defeated the East Cobb Astros in the semi-final match and will face the Florida Stealth later this morning.

2018 Cameron Godfrey (Klein Collins, TX) went 2-3 with a RBI and a double for the Banditos and 2018 Jose Gonzalez (Klein, TX) went 3-4 with 2 RBI's and a double. Gonzalez showed raw power and a wide base in his stance. 2018 Kameron Johnson (Dickinson, TX) went 2-3 with a RBI and a double as well. Johnson showed power potential, and a slightly open stance.



2019 Reed Smith (Cy-Fair, TX) pitched all 8 innings for the Banditos, striking out 3 batters and peaking his fastball at 81mph.



For the Astros, 2018 Chayce Bryant (South Gwinnett, GA) went 2-3 with a RBI and a double and 2018 Kyle Gray (Mt. Paran Christian, GA) went 2-3 with a RBI and a double as well. 2018 Jack Alexander (Mt. Paran Christian, GA) added a RBI.



Pitching for the Astros were 2018 Justin Wrobleski (Sequoyah, GA) for 4 2/3 innings, striking out 5 and peaking his fastball at 82mph, and 2019 Caleb Reis (Lassiter, GA) for 2 2/3 innings, allowing just 1 run and striking out 2. His fastball peaked at 81mph. Wrobleski showed good command, loose arm action, balanced delivery, and controls the running game well.



The Banditos remain an undefeated 9-0 going into the Championship.


Black Hawks Rally, Advance With 6-5 Win

The Weston Black Hawks faced down a 0-5 deficit going into the bottom of the fourth, and responded with six unanswered runs to rally back and take the win over the Dallas Tigers-Hernandez 6-5 to advance to the semifinals. The Black Hawks were outhit 5-6 but were helped out on offense by nine walks and three batters being hit by a pitch as Rolando Leyva (2018, Hialeah Senior HS, FL) led the way with a 2-3 game at the plate with a run scored. Julian Gonzalez (2018, Hialeah-Miami Lakes HS, FL) turned in a 1-2 game batting with a team-high two RBIs and a walk. Brenden Dixon (2019, Weatherford HS, TX) led the Tigers' balanced offense with a 1-2 game at the plate with two RBIs, a run scored, a walk, a double and turned a double play on defense.

The Black Hawks used a three-deep bullpen to hold out the Tigers as Justin Rauch (2019, Archbishop Edward Mccarthy HS, FL) closed out the game for the Black Hawks, keeping the Tigers hitless and scoreless by finding the strike zone on 75 percent of his pitches.

The Black Hawks will take their undefeated record into the semifinals where they will take on fellow undefeated Florida Stealth (8-0-0) Wednesday.

Stealth Roll Into Semis 13-5

The Florida Stealth scored in bunches, putting up four runs in the first and six runs in the fifth, and rolled into the semifinals with a 13-5 rout of the Banditos of Austin. The Stealth knocked in 13 hits by eight different players as four Stealth logged multi-hit games. Nicholas Wells (2018, Apopka, FL), Jordan Alverez (2018, Pembroke Pines, FL), and Carmine Lane (2019, Loxahatchee, FL) made a fearsome trio for the Stealth to lead the offensive charge. Wells put in a perfect 3-3 game at the plate with two RBIs, two runs scored and a double. Alverez and Lane both finished 2-3 in the box with two RBIs and a run scored with Alverez adding in two stolen bases.

The Banditos went down with a fight, knocking in ten team hits as their own batting trio answered the call. Chandler Freeman (2019, Liberty Hill HS, TX) led the way for the Banditos with a 2-3 game at the plate with two RBIs, a stolen base, a run scored and a double, Matthew Castro (2019, Tuloso-Midway HS, TX) chipped in a 2-3 game in the box with two RBIs and a double, and Blain Barker (2019, Hendrickson HS, TX) added a 2-3 game with two runs scored and a double. 

Wells also tossed four and two thirds innings for the Stealth and was rewarded with the win. Wells allowed ten hits and five runs, four earned, while walking one and striking out two with an easy, effortless arm action and a fastball averaging 72 mph and topping out at 76 mph. 

The Stealth will take their undefeated record into the semifinals where they will take on the also undefeated Weston Black Hawks (8-0-0) on Wednesday.

Early Lead Gives Banditos 4-0 Win

The Banditos Black got on the board first, scoring three runs in the first inning and rode their early lead into the semifinals with a 4-0 shutout win over the East Cobb Nationals. The Banditos needed only six runs to score their four runs and were able to even out three fielding errors with three double plays. Alexander Lopez (2019, Reagan HS, TX) motored the Banditos offense with a perfect 2-2 game at the plate with a double and a run scored as Jose Gonzalez (2018, Klein HS, TX) chipped in two RBIs on a 1-3 game batting with a triple and a run scored. The Nationals' offense struggled to get off the ground as Stan King (2019, Gordon Lee HS, GA) picked up the lone hit for the offense.

Jacob DeLaCerda (2018, Houston, TX) took home the win for the Banditos for his six scoreless innings on the mound. DeLaCerda allowed only one hit while walking four and picking up seven strikeouts with a three-pitch rotation and a fastball clocking in at an average of 73 mph and topping out at 77 mph.

The Banditos will take their undefeated record and high-scoring offense into the semifinals to take on the East Cobb Astros (7-1-0) Wednesday. 

Astros Win, Advance To Semifinals

The East Cobb Astros knocked in 11 team hits by nine different players and shut out the MCBC Hit Dogs for the 5-0 win. The Astro offense showed consistency throughout, exemplified by Caleb Reis (2019, Lassiter HS, GA) and his perfect 3-3 game at the plate as Jack Alexander (2018, Mt. Paran Christian HS, GA) knocked in two runs to finish 1-3 with those two RBIs. Jack Orlowski (2019, Novi HS, MI) sparked the Hit Dogs' offense with a 2-3 game and a double.

Kyle Gray (2018, Mt. Paran Christian HS, GA) took home the win for the Astros for his four and a third innings on the mound. Gray allowed three hits and no runs while walking one with no strikeouts and a fastball averaging 76 mph and topping out at 79 mph. 

Nino Puckett (2018, Brother Rice HS, MI) is credited with the loss for the Hit Dogs for his four innings tossed. Puckett allowed eight hits and five runs, four earned, while walking three and striking out one with a fastball averaging 77 mph and topping out at 84 mph.

The Astros will take on the undefeated Banditos Black in the semifinals Wednesday morning. 

Rapp Blanks Hustlers, Banditos Win 3-0

The Banditos of Austin got a nice pitching performance in their 3-0 win that held the S3 Hustlers to only one hit.

Shawn Rapp (2019, West Morris Mendham, NJ) scattered five walks and only gave up one hit in his six innings of winning work. He struck out four batters. Chandler Freeman (2019, Liberty Hill, TX) had the only two-hit game out of any hitter in both lineups and also added doubled in two runs. Nick Duran (2018, TX) doubled and scored a run. Peyton Mills (2018, Round Rock, TX) got the scoring going with his RBI single in the second. 

For the S3 Hustlers, Christian Dixon (2018, Ensworth, TN) threw four innings and gave up three runs (two earned). His fastball sat 72-74 mph and hit 77 mph. Bryson Lucas (2019, College Station, TX) had a fastball that sat 72-78 mph and topped out at 79 mph in his scoreless inning of relief. Mike Jordan Rodriquez (2020, Corpus Christi Moody, TX) was the only guy to get in the hit column for the S3 Hustlers. He doubled in the third inning.

Dallas Tigers-Hernandez Wins Battle 7-6

Dallas Tigers-Hernandez and the Iron Pigs battled each other hard. The Iron Pigs had a 4-0 lead that got erased as Dallas took a 5-4 lead in the sixth. The Iron Pigs responded with two runs in the top of the seventh to take a 6-5 lead. The game ended in favor of Dallas Tigers-Hernandez 7-6 on John Greenwood's (2019, Aubrey, TX) fielder's choice bunt.

Jaden Woodson (2019, Jesuit College Prep, TX) went an impressive 3 for 3 with a triple, a double, and three runs scored to lead his team to victory. Preston King (2019, Argyle, TX) hit two-run double to tie it up 4-4 at the time.

Austin Lambert (2019, Coalgate, OK) recorded two outs, but also recorded the win. His fastball ranged from 77-80 mph. Anthony Garza Jr. (2019, South Grand Prairie, TX) allowed two runs and topped out at 79 mph in his 2.1 innings of work.

Eight hitters got one hit apiece for the Iron Pigs. Leading the way was Cameron Wademan (2019, Fort Myers, FL) and Cooper Weiss (2019, Gulf Coast FL). Wademan and Weiss both chipped in with a run scored and an RBI.


Mizuno Houston Falls Short 5-3 to Astros

Team Mizuno Houston made a run by scoring two runs in the last two inning, but ultimately fell short to the East Cobb Astros 5-3.

Gavin Lee (2018, Middle School, GA) had a nice game, going 2 for 3 for the Astros. Steele Chambers (2019, Blessed Trinity Cath, GA) hit the winning run in on his single to center in the fourth. Caleb Reis (2019, Lassiter, GA) put the icing on the cake with his RBI double in the same inning to bring it to a final score of 5-3.

Jonathan JP Martin (2019, Cartersville, GA) went the distance in the Astros win. He gave up three runs--two earned--on four hits and two walks. He had five strikeouts on a fastball that topped out at 80 mph. 

Brian Juarez (2018, Calallen, TX) tripled and scored a run in the seventh for Team Mizuno Houston. Gabriel Castillo (2018, Kaufer, TX) went 1 for 3 with one run scored. Adam Kloffenstein (2018, Magnolia, TX) went 1 for 3 with an RBI. Gabriel Castillo put up two scoreless innings on the mound with a fastball that ranged from 76-82 mph. Adam Kloffenstein threw four innings, faced 20 hitters, and topped out at 78 mph. 

East Cobb's Late Push Wins It 9-3

6/24/2014

With a 4-3 edge going into the fifth, the East Cobb Nationals scored four times in the fifth to divide themselves from the Tidewater Drillers Blue and eventually win 9-3.

Stan King (2019, Gordon Lee, GA) had the only two-hit game for East Cobb. Isaac Bouton (2019, Fellowship Christian, GA) drove in two runs and scored two runs in the ballgame. Kyle Reichert (2019, Allatoona, GA) threw three innings, giving up two earned runs, and received the win. Jarrett Guest (2019, Harrison, GA) threw four scoreless innings to shut down the Drillers for the rest of the game.

Mason Dunaway (2019, Hickory, VA) and Landon Porter (2019, Frank W. Cox, VA) both had two hits and a run scored for the Drillers. Waring Garber (2018, Turner Ashby, VA) hit an RBI triple in the first inning.

Garber threw four innings, giving up two earned runs on only two hits. His fastball topped out at 77 mph. Nicholas Biddison (2018, St Christopher`S, VA) gave up one earned run in three innings of work. His fastball sat 75-81 mph and topped out at 82 mph.


Black Hawks Stay Unbeaten, Advance

Weston Black Hawks led 7-0 after two innings, but had to hold off a strong charge from Alex Cintron Baseball to claim a 8-6 victory and advance to the quarterfinals of the 2014 13U BCS Finals.

Luis Diaz (2018, Hialeah HS, FL) accounted for the margin of victory by driving in three runs. Adrian Rojas (2018, Archbishop McCarthy HS, FL) and Justin Rauch (2019, Archbishop McCarthy HS, FL) added one run batted in each. Edgar Quintana (2018, Hialeah HS, FL) supplied two runs scored, and seven other Black Hawks scored one run. The Black Hawks managed just four hits, recorded by Julian Gonzalez (2018, Hialeah-Miami Lakes HS, FL), Rolando Leyva (2018, Hialeah HS, FL), Diaz, and Jason Wallace (2018, Western HS, FL)

Leyva earned the win, tossing 2.1 innings of work and allowing two earned runs with two strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 76 mph. Austin Quinones (2018, Naples HS, FL) went 4.2 innings, allowing one earned run and striking out three hitters. His fastball peaked at 72 mph.

Cintron’s leading run producer was Kyle Guidry (2019, Katy HS, TX), who doubled and drove in two runs. Another run was driven in by Jordan Morris (2019, Bellaire HS, TX). Andres Carrillo (2018, Kempner HS, TX), Genaro Cortez (2018, Chavez HS, TX) and Dylan Bonnain (2019, Tomball HS, TX) all added one hit and one run scored in the losing effort.

Nathan Silva (2019, Seven Lakes HS, TX) did not allow an earned run and surrendered just three hits over 5.2 innings. Silva, who was not part of the decision, struck out two hitters and displayed a fastball that reached 69 mph.

Florida Stealth Advances to Quarters

Florida Stealth scored runs in each of the first three innings to clam a 9-0 victory over Colorado Yard Dawgs and advance to the quarterfinals of the 2014 13U BCS Finals on Tuesday.

Garrett Evans (2018, Apopka HS, FL) led the way for the Stealth, driving in three runs and recording two doubles. Nicholas Wells (2018, Apopka, FL) came through with two runs batted in, a run scored, and two hits. Christopher Ferara (2019, Coral Springs Charter HS, FL) added a run batted in with two doubles and two runs scored. Jordan Alvarez (2018, Pembroke Pines, FL) and Ryan Rivera (2018, Jensen Beach, FL) also provided two runs scored in the victory.

Rivera hurled a five-inning complete game shutout to earn the win for the Stealth. Rivera allowed seven hits, walked one, and struck out four hitters. He displayed good control and a smooth delivery, and his fastball topped out at 73 mph.

McKay Barney (2019, Mountain View HS, AZ) went 3-for-3 for the Yard Dawgs, with all three hits coming as singles. The team’s other four hits were provided by Justin Boyd (2019, Legend HS, CO), Dominic Tamez (2019, Bear Creek HS, CO), Kian Manmano (2019, Legend HS, CO), and Dylan Emery (2019, Legend HS, CO).

MCBC Advance in Shutout

MCBC Hit Dogs moved on to the quarterfinals of the 2014 13U BCS Finals at JetBlue Park in Fort Myers with a 7-0 victory over Georgia Jackets National on Tuesday.

Caleb Jackson (2018, Brother Rice HS, MI) led the run production for the Hit Dogs, as he drove in two runs and scored another two. Spencer Schwellenbach (2018, Saginaw HS, MI) tripled, drove in a run, and scored, while Nino Puckett (2018, Brother Rice HS,MI) and Deven Mahanti (2018, Farmington HS, MI) each drove in one run. Jackson also stole four bases in the victory.

Benjamin Hyndman (2018, De La Salle Collegiate HS, MI) was tremendous for the Hit Dogs, tossing a complete game five-hitter. He struck out six hitters and walked two, all without allowing a run. Hyndman displayed sound mechanics and a smooth delivery, showing a fastball that topped out at 73 mph.

Bobby Spencer (2020, Lakeside HS, GA) had two hits in the losing effort for the Jackets. One hit each from Andre Tarver (2019, Ringgold HS, GA), Garrison Rhudy (2019, Ringgold HS, GA), and Holden Tucker (2019, Ringgold HS, TX) supplied the other three hits.

Debowski Hurls 4 Inning No-Hitter

Colton Debowski (2018, Conroe HS, TX) threw a four inning no-hitter to lead Banditos Black to a 15-1 win over D1 Renegades in the first round of the playoffs on Tuesday. The win moved the Banditos to 7-0-0, and sent them to the quarterfinals.

Debowski surrendered just two runners, both on errors. He struck out three hitters, walked none, and threw just 44 pitches over four innings. His fastball topped out at 78 mph.

The Banditos were powered by 13 runs in the first inning. Reed Smith (2019, Cy-Fair HS, TX) and Kameron Johnson (2018, Dickinson HS, TX) drove in two runs each for the Banditos, and both scored one run. Alexander Lopez (2019, Reagan HS, TX) added two hits, while Cash Rugely (2018, Cedar Ridge HS, TX) and Jose Gonzalez (2018, Lamar HS, TX) both hit a double and scored three runs each. Sanson Faltine III (2019, William B. Travis HS, TX) scored two more runs in the win.

The lone Renegades run was scored by Damian Walls (2019, North Hunterdon Regional HS, NJ) and driven in by Mat Kroll (2019, Califon, NJ).

Rauch Impressive in Relief as Weston Beats Texas

(Alec Dopp) - Weston Black Hawks defeated Texas Sun Devils by a 9-5 mark Monday morning at 5-Plex Field 2, running their record at the 2014 13u BCS Finals to a perfect 6-0-0 while dropping Texas to 1-5-0.

Kevin Martin (2018, Weston HS, FL) received the game's winning decision as Weston's starting pitcher, topping out at 75 MPH. Justin Rauch (2019, Archbishop Edward McCarthy HS, FL) came on in relief of Martin, punching out six batters without allowing a hit, walk or run over his three innings.

Brock Dennis (2019, Sam Houston HS, LA) doubled and went 2-for-3 from the cleanup spot in Texas' lineup, driving in a pair of runs and walking one. No. 3 hitter Antonio Gauthier (2018, Alfred M. Barbe HS, LA) nabbed three stolen bases and produced a 1-for-2 batting line in the loss.

Mullen, Stines Help Push Renegades to Win

(Alec Dopp) - D1 Renegades defeated Collier Tigers by a 11-6 mark Monday morning at 5-Plex Field 4, pushing its record at the 2014 13u BCS Finals to 3-2-1 while dropping Collier to 1-5-0 at the event.

Colin Mullen (2018, Warren Hills Reg HS, NJ) started and received the game's winning decision as the Renegades' starting pitcher, logging four innings in which he conceded one earned run one four hits and a walk. Mullen struck out five hitters in the outing, topping out at 70 MPH with his heater.

Tyler Stines (2019, Scotch Plains Fanwood HS, NJ) doubled on his way to a 2-for-3 batting line with three runs batted in for D1, while Drew Miller (2019, Barron Collier HS, FL) scored twice and stolen a pair of bases from the leadoff spot in Collier's lineup.

Faltine III's Outing Helps Banditos to Win

(Alec Dopp) - Banditos Black defeated Florida Battalion by a 10-6 mark Monday morning at 5-Plex Field 5, improving its record at the 2014 13u BCS Finals to a perfect 6-0-0 while dropping Florida to 2-3-1.

Sanson Faltine III (2019, William B Travis HS, TX) got the winning decision on the mound for Banditos, logging three scoreless innings of ball in which he allowed four hits, three walks and struck out one with a game-high fastball velocity of 75 MPH.

(2018, Cedar Ridge HS, TX) led the way offensively for Florida with two stolen bases, two runs scored and a 1-for-2 batting line. Channing Young (2019, Calvary Christian HS, FL) accrued a game-high three runs batted in as Florida's leadoff hitter.

Jones Impresses, But Vipers Top Elite Black 6-4

(Alec Dopp) - In a game that featured three lead changes in a span of five innings, Majestic Vipers defeated Team Elite Black by a 6-4 score Monday morning at Terry Park Stadium. The win improved Majestic's record at the 2014 13u BCS Finals to 2-4-0 and dropped Elite to 2-3-1 at the event.

Jalen Jones (2018, Union Grove HS, GA) took the losing decision as Team Elite Black's starting pitcher, logging five innings of work in which he conceded one earned on on nine hits and no walks. Seven of Jones' 11 in-play outs came on the ground, thanks to his fastball sitting in the 64-66 MPH range with a curveball registering 56-59 MPH on the radar gun.

Donovan Reeves (2018, Sickles HS, FL) and Daniel Bernstein (2019, Sickles HS, FL) doubled and both went 2-for-3 in Majestic's victory with four runs scored between each. Dylan Eskew (2019, Steinbrenner HS, FL) recorded his team's highest fastball velocity (71 MPH) during his one inning of relief.

Nationals Best Hit Dogs in Offense-Heavy Tiff

(Alec Dopp) - In a game that featured nineteen hits between both clubs, East Cobb Nationals defeated MCBC Hit Dogs by a 8-7 score Monday morning at Terry Park Mack field. The win pushed the Nationals to 3-2-1 at the 2014 13u BCS Finals and dropped MCBC to 5-1-0.

Steven Peterson (2018, Harrison HS, GA) provided a large portion of East Cobb's offensive production in the game, going 2-for-2 with a double, two runs scored and two runs batted in. Stan King (2019, Gordon Lee HS, GA) tripled and got the start on the mound, touching 77 MPH with his fastball over his three innings of work in the victory.

Nino Puckett (2018, Brother Rice HS, MI) doubled and went 2-for-3 2ith a run scored and run batted in for the Hit Dogs, while Jase Bowen (2019, Perrysburg HS, OH) managed a triple. Devin Mahanti (2018, Farmington HS, MI) peaked at a team-high 74 MPH with his fastball over his one inning of relief.

Conway's Bat Pushes Iron Pigs Past Wolfpack

(Alec Dopp) - Iron Pigs defeated Connecticut Wolfpack by a 8-3 mark Monday morning at Terry Park Clemente, running its record at the 2014 13u BCS Finals to 5-1-0 while dropping Connecticut to 2-4-0 at the event.

Kevin Conway (2019, Port Charlotte HS, FL) led the way offensively for the Iron Pigs, going 1-for-3 with a triple, two runs batted and one run scored in the game. Conway tossed three innings and got the winning decision in the game for his club, allowing no earned runs home on four strikeouts, two walks and two hits with a fastball velocity of 71-73 MPH to his armside-run fastball and 12/6 breaking curveball with good depth and late break.


Castillo Hits, Throws Mizuno Past Orlando

(Alec Dopp) - Team Mizuno Houston defeated Orlando Stingers South by a comfortable 13-7 score Monday morning at Terry Park Brett field, running its record at the 2014 13u BCS Finals to 5-1-0 and dropping Orlando to 2-4-0. Houston scored multiple runs in each of its four innings and took advantage of four errors on the part of the Stingers en route to the victory.

Gabriel Castillo (2018, Kaufer HS, TX) was the highlight reel of the game for Mizuno, going 3-for-3 with a home run, four runs batted in, one walk and a stolen base. Castillo also tossed 1.2 innings of relief for his club in which he struck out three and allowed no earned runs to cross home, using his smooth delivery and long arm action from a 3/4 slot to touch an impressive 80 MPH with his fastball. Derrick Cherry (2018, Goose Creek Memorial HS, TX) also went  yard for Houston in the game on his way to a 3-for-4 performance with three runs batted in, three runs scored and a stolen base.

Max Rippl (2018, Bishop Verot HS, FL) went 3-for-3 (all hits singles) a run scored and one run batted in for Orlando, meanwhile pitching an inning of relief in which he conceded two walks and no hits, touching 76 MPH on the radar run.

Banditos Win Lone Star State Battle

Banditos of Austin pulled away with five runs in the fourth inning to claim victory, 10-4, over Texas Spikes on Monday at the Stadium at Terry Park.

Chandler Freeman (2019, Liberty Hill HS, TX) was the leader of the Austin lineup, driving in two runs, scoring three, and doubling three times. Shawn Rapp (2019, West Morris Mendham HS, NJ) supplied two hits with an RBI, and Blaine Barker (2019, Hendrickson HS, TX) scored three runs with a double to his name. Adding runs batted in were Nick Duran (2018, Cleburne, TX), Matthew Castro (2019, Tuloso-Midway HS, TX), and Joshua Cameron (2018, Hendrickson HS, TX) .

Castro did not allow an earned run over three innings, and earned the win with two strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 71 mph. Peyton Mills (2018, Round Rock HS, TX) allowed one run over four innings, and struck out four. His fastball peaked at 70 mph.

Jake Surratt (2019, George Ranch HS, TX) singled and drove in a run for the Spikes. Logan Bobo (2019, Fort Bend Elkins HS, TX) added a run scored and two singles, while Kamal Nader (2019, Dulles HS, TX) scored two runs in the losing effort.

Grayson Impresses, But Jackets Tie Arkansas

(Alec Dopp) - Rawlings Arkansas Prospects and Georgia Jackets National finished their Monday morning matchup at City of Palms Park Stadium in a 7-7 draw. With the tie, Rawlings owns a 1-4-1 record at the 2014 13u BCS Finals, while Georgia remained unbeaten at the event with a 5-0-1 team mark.

Grayson Panter (2018, Baylor HS, TN) led the offensive charge for Georgia, going 1-for-2 with two runs scored and a pair of stolen bases. Garrison Rhudy (2019, Ringgold HS, GA) provided the Jackets' only extra-base hit of the day, a line drive double to left field that helped him to a 2-for-3 batting line with two runs batted in and one scored. Georgia starting pitcher Andre Tarver (2019, Ringgold HS, GA) showed good command from a 3/4 slot, sitting 68-71 MPH with his fastball.

Jordan Korzen (2018, Vilonia HS, AR) logged four innings as Rawlings' starting pitcher, recording 17 of 20 possible first-pitch strikes on his way to four strikeouts, three walks, one earn run allowed and a fastball sitting 69-70 MPH with his heater. Cody Mitchell (2018, Violina HS, AR) doubled, walked, scored once and drove one runner in on his way to a 2-for-3 performance for Arkansas.

Bulls Shut Out Red Dragons

Marucci Bulls scored in all four innings of the game, and claimed a 9-0 victory over Florida Gulf Coast Red Dragons on Monday at Terry Park in Fort Myers.

Michael Davis (2018, Dickinson HS, TX) clubbed two doubles, and drove in four runs to power the Bulls at the plate. Carlos Calvillo (2018, Pearland HS, TX) and Simeon Woods (2018, Dulles HS, TX) each drove in a run, as well. Kevin Ortiz (2019, William B. Travis HS, TX) added two runs scored, as did Corey Schultz (2019, Porter HS, TX). Andre Duplantier (2019, Houston, TX) scored a run and singled in the victory.

Aaron Wisnieski (2018, Boling HS, TX) earned the win for the Bulls, tossing 2.1 scoreless innings with three strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 64 mph. Sam Velazquez (2018, Pearland HS, TX) and Ortiz added scoreless innings of relief. Velazquez’s fastball peaked at 71 mph, and Ortiz’s fastball reached 77 mph.

Aaron Catala (2019, Labelle HS, FL) had two of the four Red Dragon hits. Adding the other two were Mason Russo (2018, North Fort Myers HS, FL) and Daniel Gonzalez (2019, Lehigh Acres, FL).

Fourth Inning Explosion Goes to Hustlers

S3 Hustlers got the better end of a fourth inning where 13 runs were scored, claiming an 11-7 victory over Cupey Baseball Club. The Hustlers scored eight runs in the frame, and Cupey answered with five.

Trystan Rodriguez (2020, Moody HS, TX) drove in two runs and scored two more to account for the four-run margin of victory. Tyler Wade (2019, Midland HS, TX) added a run batted in, a run scored, and two hits for the Hustlers. Wade Elliott (2019, Midland HS, TX) and Rodriguez scored two runs a piece in the victory.

Jacob Garza (2020, King HS, TX) worked 3.2 innings, surrendering one earned run and striking out two hitters, earning the win. His fastball topped out at 73 mph.

Ian Phillip Von Kessel (2018, Naranjito, PR) drove in a run and had two hits to lead Cupey at the plate. Alexander L. Cintron Edges Jacks Behind Traweek's Effort

(Alec Dopp) - Alex Cintron Baseball defeated Diamond Jacks Super 13 by a 6-2 score Monday morning at City of Palms Park Auxiliary, improving its record at the 2014 13u BCS Finals to 4-1-1 and dropping Diamond Jacks to 0-4-2. Cintron went just 6-for-25 as a team at the plate, but capitalized off five Jacks errors en route to the victory.

Jonas Traweek (2018, Magnolia West HS, TX) got the start and winning decision on the mound as Cintron's starting pitcher, logging seven full innings in which he allowed two earned runs home on seven hits and two walks. Traweek also struck out four in the outing, showing a fastball in the 65-68 MPH range and curveball between 57-59 MPH that helped him induce 12 swinging strikes and seven ground ball outs (seven air outs).

James "Trey" Cline (2018, Cypress Falls HS, TX) doubled on his way to a 1-for-3 batting line for Alex Cintron Baseball, including a run scored, run batted in and one stolen base. Alexander Antigua (2019, Immaculata HS, NJ) went 3-for-3 with a double to lead the Jacks in the loss, and meanwhile logged three innings as Diamond's starter in which he generated a 69-71 MPH fastball.

IBAHS Knights Top Clearwater Yankees

IBAHS Knights scored the first and last runs of the game, and never trailed in a 5-1 victory over Clearwater Yankees on Monday.

Lennox Rivera (2018, International Baseball Academy, PR) drove in two runs for the Knights on one hit. Jorge Martinez (2018, International Baseball Academy, PR) and Eduardo Tousset (2018, International Baseball Academy, PR) each drove in one run, while Cristopher Ortega (2018, International Baseball Academy, PR) scored two runs and singled twice. Luis Osoa (2018, International Baseball Academy, PR), Kyle Higginbotham (2018, International Baseball Academy, PR), and Robert Cedeno (2018, International Baseball Academy, PR) scored the other three runs in the win.

Osoa was fantastic on the mound for the Knights, tossing a five-hit complete game, and only allowing one run with nine strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 78 mph.

Mitchell Farris (2019, Palm Harbor, FL) had two of the five Yankees hits, and Alexander Kurleman (2018, Calvary Christian School, FL) scored the lone run with a hit. Carrington Adler (2018, Mitchell HS, FL) and Tyler Adler (2019, Alonso HS, FL) added the other two hits.

Pitzer Gills (2019, Calvary Christian School, FL) pitched well out of the bullpen, surrendering just one run on one hit with one strikeout over 2.1 innings. His fastball peaked at 67 mph.

Pitelli, Rivera Guide Florida Stealth to Sixth Win

(Alec Dopp) - Florida Stealth ran its record at the 2014 13u BCS Finals to 6-0-0 with a convincing 12-0 victory over South Louisiana Select Monday morning at 5-Plex Field 3. Florida out-hit Louisiana 14-3 over four mercy-rule innings of play and capitalized off two Select errors en route to the victory.

Dominic Pitelli (2020, Doral Academy Charter HS, FL) got the start and winning decision on the mound for Stealth, pitching four shutout innings that included one walk, one strikeout and three hits allowed. Pitelli featured 29 fastballs (61-65 MPH) and three curveballs (56 MPH) in the contest, and though he didn't induce one swinging strike, six of his nine possible in-play outs came off fly ball trajectories.

Ryan Rivera (2018, Jensen Beach, FL) led the offensive charge in Florida's win, going 2-for-2 with a triple, run scored and run batted in. Dane Dorsainvil (2018, Wellington, FL) chipped in with two stolen bases and a 1-for-2 batting line that included a run scored and run batted in, as well, while Christopher Russo (2019, Pine Crest HS, FL), Jordan Alvarez (2018, Pemboke Pines, FL) and Derek Ordaz (2019, Barbara Goleman HS, FL) each recorded doubles.

Tidewater Drillers Pull Away for Win

Tidewater Drillers Blue scored eight runs in the fourth inning to pull away from South Florida Bandits, claiming a 14-4 win on Monday.

Mason Dunaway (2019, Hickory HS, VA) led the run production with three runs batted in and another run scored. Jacob Mustain (2018, Hickory HS, FL) also drove in three runs and scored one. Cameron Wallace (2019, Frank W. Cox HS, FL) drove in two runs with two hits, and Nicholas Biddison (2018, St. Christopher’s School, VA) and Waring Garber (2018, Turner Ashby HS, VA) both had two-hit ballgames. Five different Drillers scored two runs in the victory.

Mustain earned the win for the Drillers, allowing three earned runs over three innings. His fastball topped out at 66 mph. Patrick Rogan (2018, Maury HS, VA) worked two good innings with no runs or hits and four strikeouts. Rogan’s fastball peaked at 71 mph.

The Bandits’ runs were driven in by Andrew Moore (2018, Ida Baker HS, FL), Tyler Burton (2018, Labelle HS, FL), and two from Tyler Nesbitt (2019, Labelle HS, FL). JanMikell Bastardo (2019, Fort Myers, FL) scored two runs, and Enrique Hernandez (2019, Labelle HS, FL) added another.

Colorado Yard Dawgs Never Trail in Win

Colorado Yard Dawgs scored in the first inning, and never trailed in an 8-3 victory over Texas Hardball White on Monday.

Only two of the eight Colorado runs were batted in, supplied by Kian Manmano (2019, Legend HS, CO) and Elliot Pigati (2019, Bear Creek HS, CO). Manmano also added two hits, while Shane Telesz (2018, Regis Jesuit HS, CO) scored two runs. Manmano and Dominic Tamez (2019, Bear Creek HS, CO) each hit a double in the victory.

Manmano earned the victory for Colorado, as he did not allow an earned run over three innings of work. He struck out two hitters, and his fastball topped out at 68 mph. Grant Magill (2019, Thunderridge HS, CO) worked two innings with two strikeouts, and his fastball topped out at 63 mph.

Dax Dathe (2019, Stony Point HS, TX) and Trevor Marek (2019, Anderson HS, TX) drove in runs for Texas, and the two players combined for four of the team’s seven hits. Dathe also scored a run, and was joined in that column by Carter Ford (2019, Round Rock HS, TX) and Jared Younce (2019, Stony Point HS, TX).

East Cobb Astros Win on Walk Off

A two-run single from Derius Hulbert (2018, Marist HS, GA) gave East Cobb Astros a 4-3 walk-off victory over Florida River Dawgs on Monday.

Hulbert’s two runs batted in led the run production for the Astros. Chayce Bryant (2018, South Gwinnett HS, GA) also drove in a run, as did Steele Chambers (2019, Blessed Trinity Catholic HS, GA). Justin Wrobleski (2018, Sequoyah HS, GA) had two of the six Astros hits, and Gavin Lee (2021, San Diego, CA) supplied a hit and a run scored.

Lee earned the win for the Astros by pitching a 1-2-3 sixth inning. His fastball topped out at 79 mph. Hulbert tossed two innings, allowing one run on two hits with two strikeouts. Hulbert’s fastball peaked at 73 mph. Caleb Reis (2019, Lassiter HS, GA) had the longest outing, working three innings. He allowed two runs on two hits, and displayed a fastball that reached 76 mph.

Daniel Tart (2018, Braden River HS, FL) and Caleb Whitson (2019, Braden River HS, FL) drove in one run each for the River Dawgs. Both players had a hit, as did Danny Rodriguez (2019, Sarasota HS, FL) and Hunter Bogumil (2018, Bradenton Academy, FL). Anthony Squitieri (2019, Bradenton Academy, FL) added a run scored in the losing effort.

Whitson was solid as the River Dawgs’ starter, allowing two earned runs over 5.1 innings. He struck out nine hitters, and his fastball topped out at 75 mph.

Banditos- TX scored nine runs in the fourth inning to turn a 2-1 game into a blowout, as the Banditos claimed a 13-6 victory over Iron Pigs Navy on Monday.

Jacob Wilson (2019, George Ranch HS, TX) and Hagen Barcello (2019, Klein Forest HS, TX) drove in two runs a piece to lead the Banditos offense. Seth Cosme (2019, Angleton HS, TX) added three hits and three runs scored, while Hanin Rakrouki (2018, Klein Oak HS, TX) scored two runs with two hits. Logan Kilpatrick (2019, Tomball Memorial HS, TX) also added two hits in the win.

Rene Ramos (2018, Klein Collins HS, TX) earned the win for the Banditos, allowing no earned runs over five innings. He struck out three hitters, and his fastball topped out at 70 mph. Carter Hines (2019, Klein Oak HS, TX) pitched the final two innings, and allowed an unearned run on one hit. His fastball peaked at 68 mph.

Early Rally Propels Elite South

Team Elite South Forsyth trailed early, but were able to rally past Indiana Prospects, 12-5, on Monday.

Chance Burns (2019, West Forsyth HS, GA) drove in three runs with a triple in the win, and scored a run. Keller Dammenmiller (2018, South Forsyth HS, GA) supplied two runs batted in, and Zack Smith (2019, Winder-Barrow HS, GA) and Cole Stupp (2019, West Forsyth HS, GA) each drove in one run. Mitchell Landon (2019, Milton HS, GA) scored a team-high two runs in the victory.

Brad Stephenson (2018, North Oconee HS, GA) picked up the win on the mound, going four innings without surrendering an earned run. He struck out five hitters, and showed a fastball that topped out at 73 mph. Stupp tossed two innings, and his fastball peaked at 68 mph.

S3 Hustlers Rally in Final Inning

S3 Hustlers scored seven runs in what would prove to be the final inning, claiming an 8-3 victory over Iron Pigs on Sunday.

The leading run producer for the Hustlers was Wade Elliott (2019, Midland HS, TX), who scored two runs, drove in another two, and had three hits. MJ Rodriguez (2020, Corpus Christi Moody HS, TX) added two hits in the victory, while Orlando Salinas (2019, King HS, TX), Trystan Rodriguez (2020, Moody HS, TX), Jon Barrera (2019, King HS, TX), and Jacob Garza (2020, King HS, TX) each had a hit and a run batted in.

Elliott earned the win for recording the final out of the sixth inning. His fastball peaked at 78 mph.

Two Iron Pigs runs were driven in by Cameron Wademan (2019, Fort Myers HS, FL) and Joshua Kinker (2019, Venice HS, FL). Aaron Martin (2019, Port Charlotte HS, FL) added two hits, and Cooper Weiss (2019, Gulf Coast HS, FL) supplied a stolen base and a run scored.

Mizuno Houston Bashes 12 Runs in Victory

An eleven run stretch over two innings led Team Mizuno Houston to a 12-2 victory over Naples Naturals on Sunday.

Mathew Santos’ (2019, Cypress Ranch HS, TX) four runs batted in was the spark for Mizuno. Derrick Cherry (2018, Goose Creek Memorial HS, TX) homered and drove in two runs, and Aaron Allen (2018, Ridgepoint HS, TX) drove in two more tuns. Gabriel Castillo (2018, Kaufer HS, TX) added two hits and two runs scored, while Payton Harden (2018, Summer Creek HS, TX) and Bo Willis (2019, Magnolia HS, TX) both scored two runs in the Mizuno victory.

Allen tossed three hitless innings, and picked up the win with five strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 76 mph. Santos and Willis each tossed an inning as well, with Santos’ fastball peaking at 67 mph and Willis’ reaching 70 mph.

Hunter Scalan (2018, Naples, FL) drove in a run for the Naturals, and the team’s two runs were scored by Drake Dobyanski (2018, Naples, FL)and Scalan. Johnny Long (2018, Naples, FL) and Andrew Lang (2018, Naples, FL) had the two hits.

Kamal Nader (2019, Dulles HS, TX) drove in three runs for the Spikes, adding three hits and two runs scored. Henry Harrison (2019, George Ranch HS, TX) and Jacob Flores (2019, Foster HS, TX) each recorded two runs batted in, while Daniel Shipley (2018, Fort Bend Austin HS, TX) provided three hits and two runs scored in the victory.

Austin Essex (2019, Sugar Land, TX) earned the victory for the Spikes striking out three hitters over six innings. Essex’s fastball topped out at 70 mph. Drew Madrid (2019, Clements HS, TX) added a scoreless, hitless inning. His fastball also peaked at 70 mph.

A single from Danny Rodriguez gave Florida River Dawgs a walk-off victory, claiming a 6-5 win over D1 Renegades on Sunday.

Daniel Tart (2018, Braden River HS, FL) led the River Dawgs at the plate, driving in two runs and scoring another. Robert Arakel (2018, Bradenton Christian School, FL), Hunter Bogumil (2018, Bradenton Academy, FL), and Mason Kolbe (2019, Bradenton Academy, FL) each drove in a run, Collin Goda (2019, Braden River HS, FL) scored two runs with two hits, and John DiPasqua (2019, Braden River HS, FL) scored two runs.

Arakel earned the win for his one perfect inning, with one strikeout. Hunter Smith (2018, Palmetto HS, FL) also surrendered just one earned run over five innings of work. Arakel’s fastball topped out at 73 mph, and Smith’s peaked at 69 mph.

Mat Kroll (2019, Califon, NJ) drove in two runs for the Renegades, and Michael Pierce (2019, North Hunterdon Regional HS, NJ) added another run batted in. Late Run Ties Game Between Cintron & Bandits

Alex Cintron Baseball scored a run in the top of the seventh to salvage a tie with South Florida Bandits on Sunday.

Justin Hughes (2018, South Fort Myers HS, FL) crushed a fourth-inning grand slam to lead the South Florida offense. The homer accounted for Hughes’ four RBIs, hit, and run scored. Weston Wiles (2018, Fort Myers HS, FL) added two runs batted in, while James Meredith (2019, Ida Baker HS, FL) and JanMikell Bastardo (2019, Fort Myers, FL) had two hits a piece.

Tyler Nesbitt (2019, Clewiston, FL) tossed a complete game with seven strikeouts and five earned runs for the Bandits. His fastball topped out at 73 mph.

Matthew Thompson (2018, Cypress, TX), Cash Rugely (2018, Cedar Ridge HS, TX), and Reed Smith (2019, Cy-Fair HS,TX) each drove in a run, while Thompson and Rugely had two hits a piece and Smith scored two runs.

Greyson Kash (2018, Hardin-Jefferson HS, TX) was the winning pitcher, as he did not allow an earned run over three innings, striking out two hitters. Rugely and Sanson Faltine III (2019, William B. Travis HS, TX) each tossed a scoreless inning, as well. Kash’s fastball topped out at 77 mph, Rugely’s peaked at 76 mph,and Faltine’s reached 71 mph.

The lone Hardball run was scored by Carter Ford (2019, Round Rock HS, TX), who had one of the team’s five hits. Bobby Spencer (2020, Lakeside HS, GA) drove in two runs and had two hits, scoring a run. Grayson Panter (2018, Baylor HS, TN) added two runs batted in with a hit. Nathan Camp (2018, Ringgold HS, GA) scored three of the team’s eight runs in the victory, while Bailey Gaines (2018, Ringgold HS, GA) added two hits.

Spencer pitched 6.1 innings, allowing two runs and striking out two hitters in the victory. Spencer earned the win, and his fastball topped out at 72 mph.

The Banditos of Austin pounded out 17 hits and scored 16 times to beat Team Elite Black 16-2 on Sunday. The Banditos 2-6 hitters in the lineup combined to tally 13 hits and lead the offensive surge. Joshua Cameron (2018, Hendrickson HS, TX) had a big day at the plate, going a perfect 4-4 with a double, 3 runs scored, and 4 RBI. Chandler Freeman (2019, Liberty Hill HS, TX) was also a major run producer, driving in 3 runs and finishing the game 2-4. Blaine Barker ignited the offense with a 3-3 day and scored 3 times. Shawn Rapp also was 2-3 with 2 RBI. Lead-off hitter Nick Duran (2018, Cleburne, TX) scored 2 runs in the win.

Spencer Schwellenbach (2018, Saginaw HS, MI), Benjamin Hyndman (2018, De La Salle Collegiate HS, MI), and Nino Puckett (2018, Brother Rice HS, MI) combined to hold the Marucci Bulls scoreless on Sunday and lead the MCBC Hit Dogs to a 6-0 victory. Schwellenbach started the game on the mound and pitched 2 innings, giving up 0 runs on 1 hit and striking out 4 batters. He threw 68% of his pitches for strikes and maintained a fastball velocity of 76-80 mph. Hyndman and Puckett covered the final 4 innings in relief. Puckett was dominate and gave up 0 runs on 1 hit, while striking out 5 batters. He maintained a fastball velocity of 78-80 mph and reached as high as 82 mph.

Jase Bowen (2019, Perrysburg HS, OH) led the Hit Dogs on offense. Brown finished the game 2-3 with 2 runs scored and a double. Schwellenbach also hit lead-off for MCBC and collected the game's only RBI.

Trey Cruz (2018, Newsome HS, FL) pitched a complete game 1-hit shut out on Sunday to lead the Iron Pigs over Cupey Baseball Club, 7-0. Cruz allowed 0 runs on just one hit and struck out 3 batters to earn the win. He showed great command of his pitches by throwing 69% for strikes and reached as high as 72 mph with his fastball.

Giovanni Digiacomo (2018, Naples HS, FL) provided the offensive surge for the Iron Pigs by going 2-4 with a run scored. Mac Guscette (2020, Venice Senior HS, FL) also collected 2 hits and finished the game 2-2 with a run scored and a RBI. Caleb Reis (2019, Lassiter HS, GA) also doubled in a run and was 1-1 with a run scored. The other extra-base hit of the game was collected by Jack Alexander (2018, Mt Paran Christian HS, GA), who tripled and finished 1-2 with a run scored and a RBI. Ryan Davis (2019, Blessed Trinity Catholic HS, GA), Steele Chambers (2019, Blessed Trinity Catholic HS, GA), and Jonathan JP Martin (2019, Cartersville HS, GA) each scored twice, and Justin Wrobleski (2018, Sequoyah HS, GA) crossed the plate 3 times for the winners.

Ethan Wright (2019, Hillgrove HS, GA) started the game on the mound for East Cobb and limited the D1 RENEGADES to just 1 run on 6 hits over 4 innings of work.

Austin King (2019, Argyle HS, TX) provided the power for the winners, smashing a home run and finishing the game 2-3 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI. Brenden Dixon (2019, Weatherford HS, TX) sparked the offensive charge by going 3-4 with a double, a stolen base, and 2 runs scored. Garrett Reuben (2019, Jesuit College Prep HS, TX) also went 2-3 in the game, scoring once, stealing a base, and driving in a run. Jaden Woodson (2019, Jesuit College Prep HS, TX) had 2 hits as well and finished the game 2-2 with a run scored, a stolen base, and a RBI. The team's other extra-base hit was collected by Dillon Carter (2019, Argyle HS, TX), who doubled in a run in 1 of his 3 at-bats.

The Tidewater Drillers Blue rolled to a 17-0 win on Sunday over Alex Cintron Baseball. Nicholas Biddison (2018, St. Christopher's HS, VA), Mason Dunaway (2019, Hickory HS, VA), Landon Porter (2019, Frank W. Cox HS, VA), and Waring Garber (2018, Turner Ashby HS, VA) all had 2 hits apiece to lead Tidewater's offense. Biddison and Garber finished the game 2-2 with 2 RBI, and Dunaway and Porter were both 2-3 with 2 runs scored. Biddison also tripled and scored 3 times, and Porter added a double and scored twice. Cameron Wallace (2019, Frank W. Cox HS, VA) provided the big hit of the game with a double that plated 3 runs.

David Byler (2019, Norfolk Academy HS, VA) started the game on the mound for Tidewater and pitched all 3 innings to hold Alex Cintron Baseball in check. Byler allowed 0 runs on just 2 hits and struck out 3 to earn the win. He showed great command and threw 67% of his pitches for strikes. 

Jonas Traweek (2018, Magnolia West HS, TX) and Kyle Guidry (2019, Katy HS, TX) were both 1-1 for Alex Cintron Baseball. Traweek's hit was a double.

The Banditos Black scored 2 runs in the bottom of the fifth-inning on Sunday to break a 5-5 tie and beat the Colorado Yard Dawgs, 7-5. Alexander Lopez (2019, Reagan HS, TX) led the charge for Banditos Black, going 2-3 with a double and a RBI. Jacob DeLaCerda (2018, Houston, TX) also had 2 hits in the game and finished 2-2. Reed Smith (2019, Cy-Fair HS, TX) and Jose Gonzalez (2018, Klein HS, TX) provided the big hits for Banditos. Smith doubled and drove in 2 runs, and Gonzalez singled and drove in 2 runs. Sanson Faltine III (2019, William B. Travis HS, TX) also double in the game and scored twice.

DeLaCerda started the game on the mound and pitched 2 innings of no-hit baseball. He finished his outing allowing 0 runs on 0 hits and striking out 3.

Nathan Camp (2018, Ringgold HS, GA) threw a complete game shutout on Sunday to lead the Georgia Jackets National over the Clearwater Yankees, 2-0. Camp scattered 5 hits on the afternoon and struck out 8 batters to earn the victory. He averaged a fastball velocity of 69-73 mph and topped out at 75 mph.

Camp also lead-off for Georgia and finished 1-3 with a double. Teddy Lepcio joined Camp in doubling and was 2-2 with a RBI to lead the offense. Georgia's other RBI was collected by Garrison Rhudy (2019, Ringgold HS, GA), who was 1-1 on the day. Ty Jones (2018, Lafayette HS, GA) and Andre Tarver (2019, Ringgold HS, GA) scored the games only runs.

Clearwater's starting pitcher, Nolan Hudi (2019, Safety Harbor, FL), was equally impressive despite getting the loss. He allowed 1 earned run on 4 hits over his 5 innings of work and struck out 6 batters. Hudi displayed great command of his pitches by throwing 65% of them for strikes. He maintained a fastball velocity of 72-75 mph and reached a maximum velocity of 76 mph.

Conor McNair (2019, Alonso HS, FL) led the Yankees at the plate and finished the game 1-2 with a double.

Offense powers Florida Stealth to 7-2 victory

Devin Roche (2018, Fort Lauderdale, FL) led the offensive charge, going 2-3 with a double, a run scored, and 3 RBI. Ryan Rivera (2018, Jensen Beach, FL) and Carmine Lane (2019, Loxahatchee, FL) joined Roche in collecting 2 hits each, as well. Rivera finished the game 2-4 with a RBI and Lane was 2-2 with a run scored. Nicholas Wells (2018, Apopka, FL) and Henrique Garcia (2019, Miami Killian Senior HS, FL) both scored twice in the win.

Nelson Berkwich (2020, Boca Raton Community HS, FL) threw 4 solid innings of relief for Stealth to preserve the lead. He allowed 0 runs on 4 hits and struck out 4 batters in his appearance.

Offenses Shine in 10-7 Spikes Win

The Texas Spikes needed every one of their 13 team hits to hold off the Majestic Vipers to take the 10-7 win. The Vipers rallied within one after a three-run fourth inning to cut the Spikes lead to 6-5, but would get no closer the rest of the game. The Spikes got a huge game offensively from Daniel Shipley (2018, Ford Bend Austin HS, TX) who would finish 3-4 at the plate with three RBIs and three runs scored with a double. The Vipers' offense showed it's potency with nine team hits and was sparked by Dylan Eskew (2019, Steinbrenner HS, FL). Eskew went 2-4 in the box and picked up a game-high four RBIs and two runs scored with a double and a triple.

Garrett Arredondo (2019, George Ranch HS, TX) picked up the win for the Spikes for his five innings on the mound. Arredondo allowed six hits and five runs, three earned, while both walking and striking out two. 

Black Hawks use late rally to win 9-2

The Weston Black Hawks scored 6 runs in the fifth-inning to beat the Indiana Prospects 9-2. Clean-up hitter Edgar Quintana (2018, Hialeah Senior HS, FL) and Max Baldaccini (2019, Miramar, FL) each finished 1-2 with a RBI and a run scored to lead the offense. Rolando Leyva (2018, Hialeah Senior HS, FL) collected the other RBI for the winners and Lewis Menendez (2019, Mater Academy Charter, FL) scored twice. 

Jason Wallace (2018, Western HS, FL) pitched 5.1 solid innings of relief to earn the victory. Wallace allowed 1 earned run on 4 hits, while striking out 7 batters. He maintained a fastball velocity of 72-76 mph and reached as high as 77 mph.

Lead-off hitter Colten Panaranto (2018, Terre Haute North Vigo HS, IN) paced the Prospect's offense, going 1-2 with a triple and a run scored. Mason Gillis (2019, New Castle Chrysler HS, IN) was also 1-2 in the game with a run scored and a double. Iron Pigs Roll To 10-1 Victory

The Iron Pigs Navy wasted no time taking control of the game, scoring seven runs in the first inning to cruise to a 10-1 win over the South Louisiana Select in six innings. Six of the Iron Pigs' ten team hits went for extra bases and the offense was powered by Warner Rincones (2018, Lemon Bay HS, FL) and his 2-3 game at the plate with two RBIs and two runs scored with a double and a triple. The Select managed six hits in the game but couldn't get any across the plate, finishing with zero RBIs. 

Forsyth Routs Sun Devils 12-5

Team Elite South Forsyth flexed their offensive might with 14 team hits by eight different players as they rolled to a 12-5 win over the Texas Sun Devils. Samuel Darling (2019, Jackson County HS, GA) and Carter Mullikin (2019, North Forsyth HS, GA) powered the Forsyth offense with Darling finishing 2-3 with two RBIs, two runs scored, a double and a stolen base. Mullikin went a perfect 3-3 at the plate with one RBI, two runs scored and three stolen bases off two doubles. Brock Dennis (2019, Sam Houston HS, LA) and David Nolen (2018, St. Louis Catholic, LA) continued to impress and finished with identical stat lines for the Sun Devils, both going 2-3 with an RBI and a run scored as Nolen picked up a double.

Chance Burns (2019, West Forsyth HS, GA) picked up the win for Team Elite for his three and a third innings on the mound. Burns allowed two hits and four runs, none earned, while walking three and striking out four with a fastball averaging 72 mph and topping out at 75 mph.

The Banditos of Austin got a great pitching performance as they went on to beat the Majestic Vipers 5-1.

Jacob Ledesma (2018, Bowie, TX) threw a complete seven innings and picked up the win. He gave up one run on one hit and three walks. He had six strikeouts and his fastball peaked at 73 mph. Raymond Kyle Kilgo (2019, Lake Travis, TX) had three of the Banditos nine hits. He also added an RBI. Matthew Castro (2019, Tuloso-Midway, TX) went 1 for 2, scoring two runs and swiping three bases.

Donovan Reeves (2018, Sickles, FL) picked up the Vipers only hit (a double) and run in the game. Sam Drumheller (2020, Alonso, FL) threw two innings of scoreless ball. Dylan Eskew (2019, Steinbrenner, FL) topped out at 74 mph in his four innings of work.

Nationals, Bulls Tie at 3

The East Cobb Nationals and the Marucci Bulls ended their game with a 3-3 tie. East Cobb scored three times in the fifth inning to come back and tie it. That was the last of the scoring.

Austin Kirksey (2019, Walton, GA) hit a 3-run triple in the fifth to bring the game to a tie. Kyle Reichert (2019, Allatoona, GA) and Camden Lovrich (2019, Lassiter, GA) added a hit and scored a run for the Nationals.

For the Bulls, Juan Sosa (2019, Carroll, TX) threw two scoreless innings and saw his fastball top out at 75 mph. Michael Davis (2018, Dickinson, TX) threw two innings, faced 12 batters, and his fastball topped out at 76 mph.

Juan Sosa and Michael Davis both had two-hit games. Davis doubled and drove in a run on a single in the fourth. Andre Duplantier (2019, TX) doubled and drove in two runs on the day.

Knights Take Down Prospects 7-2

The IBAHS Knights knocked in four runs in the fourth to take command of the game to win 7-2 over the Rawlings Arkansas Prospects in six innings. The Knights and Prospects both had seven team hits, but the Knights won the RBI battle 6-1 to take the win. Christopher Ortega (2018, International Baseball Academy, PR) led the Knights' offense with a 2-4 game at the plate with two runs scored and a stolen base as Jorge Martinez (2018, International Baseball Academy, PR) knocked in a bases loaded triple to give himself three RBIs on a 1-4 game in the box with a run scored and a stolen base. 

Ortega picked up the win on the mound for the Knights for spending all six innings on the mound. Ortega allowed seven hits and two runs, both earned, while walking four and striking out seven with an easy, fast approach on the mound and a fastball averaging 71 and topping out at 75 mph.

Hayden Vines (2019, Cabot HS, AR) took the loss for the Prospects for two and a third innings on the mound. Vines allowed three hits and two runs, both earned, while walking three and striking out two despite always being behind in the count.

Wolfpack Holds Off Cupey Baseball in 8-7 Win

The Connecticut Wolfpack escaped with a 8-7 win over Cupey Baseball Club. Cupey Baseball Club threatened to come back, scoring five times in the seventh inning.

For the Wolfpack, Adam Wenkoff (2018, Staples, CT) led the way with his 3 for 4 day that included a double, scoring two runs, and adding two RBIs. Chris Borter (2019, Fairfield Ludlowe, CT) went 2 for 5 with a run scored and an RBI. Nick Larusso (2018, Masuk, CT) went 2 for 3 with a run scored and an RBI. John Jose (2018, Coginchaug Regional, CT) had a two-hit game and drove in a run.

Winning pitcher John Jose threw five innings of two-run ball (zero earned). He gave up two hits and struck out four batters. Ryan Spano (2018, East Haven, CT) faced 11 hitters over two innings and topped out at 74 mph. 

For Cupey Baseball Club, Yoshua Martinez (2018, Colegio De La Salle, PR) went 1 for 3 with two runs scored. Abdiel Torres (2018, Superior Luis Muñoz Marin, PR) doubled, scored a run, and added an RBI. On the mound, Heriberto Maldonado (2018, PR) threw 2.1 scoreless innings in the loss


Late Spurt Gives Battalion 13-3 Victory

The Florida Battalion scored in every inning but saved the best for last, dropping six runs in the fifth inning to ice the game and take the 13-3 win over the Texas Hardball White in five. Seven players knocked in 12 runs for the Battalion and were led by Steven Parker Farris (2018, Indian Rocks Christian HS, FL) and Jordan Dapney (2020, Countryside HS, FL). Dapney finished the game 2-3 at the plate with two RBIs as Farris showed power with a walk-off grand slam to finish off the game in the fifth. Farris finished the game 3-4 with four RBIs, two runs scored and a stolen base. Trevor Marek (2019, Anderson HS, TX) paced the Hardball offense with a 2-2 game at the plate, picking up an RBI, a run scored, and his team's only stolen base.

Farris picked up the win for the Battalion for his two and a third innings on the mound to start off the game. Farris allowed two hits and one earned run while walking three and striking out one.

Dax Dathe (2019, Stony Point HS, TX) took the loss for Texas Hardball for tossing three innings and allowing six hits and five runs, four earned, while walking three and striking out one.

Dallas Tigers-Hernandez scored multiple times in three different innings to bring it to a final score of 7-2 over Orlando Stingers South in their win.

For Dallas, Preston King (2019, Argyle, TX) went 2 for 3 with a double and a run scored. Jaden Woodson (2019, Jesuit College Prep, TX) went 2 for 3 with two runs scored. Anthony Garza Jr. (2019, South Grand Prairie, TX) went 2 for 3 with a run scored. Nicolas Balsano (2019, Colleyville Heritage, TX) went 2 for 3 with two runs batted in. Dillon Carter (2019, Argyle, TX) doubled, scored a run, and drove in two.

Winning pitcher John Greenwood (2019, Aubrey, TX) threw five innings of two-run ball. He scattered five hits and struck out three hitters. His fastball topped out at 74 mph.

Twin Rallies Lead to 9-9 Tie

The South Florida Bandits and the Diamond Jacks Super 13 both rallied in the final inning, with the Bandits dropping five runs in the final inning as Super 13 replied with four runs to end the game in a 9-9 tie. The Bandits were able to stay in the game with a bend-don't-break defensive effort even though they were outhit 15-5 by the Super 13. Felix Diaz (2019, North Brunswick, NJ) powered the Super 13 with a perfect 3-3 game at the plate with two RBIs and a run scored. Matthew Hardie (2018, Bishop Verot HS, FL) sparked the Bandits' offense with a double and finished 1-2 with two RBIs, a double and a walk.

Blake Donnelly (2019, Cape Coral, FL) gave the Bandits the most time on the mound, tossing three innings and allowing eight hits and five runs, three earned, while walking one and striking out two. Dante Bozzuti (2019, Somerville HS, NJ) tossed three innings for the Super 13 and allowed two hits and seven runs, none earned, while walking five and striking out three.

The East Cobb Astros did everything right in their 13-0 victory against the Collier Tigers. The Astros did not allowed one hit and put up double digit runs offensively.

Kyle Gray (2018, Mt Paran Christian, GA) threw the first three hitless innings and picked up the win. He walked two batters and struck out six hitters. His fastball sat 73-76 mph and peaked at 78 mph. Jonathan JP Martin (2019, Cartersville, GA) threw a perfect inning and topped out at 74 mph.

Gavin Lee (2021, Middle School, GA) had a huge game for the Astros. He didn't make an out as he ripped three hits, including a big homerun. He drove in five runs and scored three times. Chayce Bryant (2018, South Gwinnett, GA) went 2 for 3 with one run and one RBI. Ryan Davis (2019, Blessed Trinity Cath, GA) went 2 for 3 with two runs scored. Steele Chambers (2019, Blessed Trinity Cath, GA) had a nice 2 for 3 day with a double, two runs, and one run batted in. 

River Dawgs Pull Away Late For 10-3 Win

The Florida River Dawgs needed four runs in the top of the seventh inning to put the Collier Tigers on ice and take the 10-3 victory. Seven River Dawgs knocked in 13 team runs and were led on offense by Danny Rodriguez (2019, Sarasota HS, FL) and Daniel Tart (2018, Braden River HS, FL). Rodriguez finished the game 3-4 with an RBI, two stolen bases and two runs scored with Tart adding a 2-4 game with two RBIs, two stolen bases and two runs scored. The Tigers couldn't get much going offensively, managing only three hits evened out by three fielding errors. 

John DiPasqua (2019, Braden River HS, FL) picked up the win for the River Dawgs for tossing five and two thirds innings. DiPasqua allowed three hits and three runs, none earned, while walking three and picking up two strikeouts before being relieved in the sixth.

Aidan Bennett (2019, Barron Collier HS, FL) is credited with the loss for the Tigers for his six innings on the mound. Bennett allowed ten hits and six runs, five earned, while walking two and striking out three while finding the strike zone on 66 percent of his pitches.

Jacks Fall to Drillers, Tidewater Triumphs 8-7

The Tidewater Drillers Blue scored three times in the six inning and took this one 8-7 over the Diamond Jacks Super 13. The Diamond Jacks put up two runs in the seventh inning, falling one run short. 

Patrick Rogan (2018, Maury, VA) went 3 for 3 with four RBIs and one run scored for the Drillers. Mason Dunaway (2019, Hickory, VA) had a nice 2 for 4 day with a triple and a run scored.

Mason Dunaway threw four innings, faced 19 batters, and topped out at 75 mph. Waring Garber (2018, Turner Ashby, VA) threw three innings, faced 16 batters, and his fastball sat at 74-77 mph. He struck out four batters and his fastball peaked at 78 mph.

Anthony Ciuffreda (2019, Hunterdon Central, NJ) went 2 for 4 with a triple, a run, and three RBIs. Anthony Antigua (2019, Immaculata, NJ) doubled twice, scored one run, and added an RBI. Stingers' Offense Powers to 14-0 Victory

The Orlando Stingers South broke a three-game losing streak in a big way, putting up 12 hits to take the 14-0 win over the Naples Naturals in four innings. Seven Stingers notched at least one hit and were led by Nelson Smith (2019, Lehigh Acres, FL) and Cam Hoines (2018, Bishop Verot, FL). Smith powered his way to a perfect 3-3 game at the plate with two RBIs, a double and three runs scored as Hoines chipped by finishing 2-2 at the plate with two runs scored and a walk. The Naturals' offense couldn't get started and only managed two hits over the course of the game.

Smith showed his full skill set this game, picking up the win on the mound for the Stingers for his four innings on the mound. Smith allowed two hits and no runs while walking two and striking out two.

Drake Dobyanski (2018, Naples, FL) took the loss for the Naturals for his one inning on the mound to start out the game. Dobyanski allowed three hits and five runs, three earned, while walking three and striking out one.

The S3 Hustlers used a huge fourth inning to take control of the Connecticut Wolfpack and the game on their way to an 8-0 victory in six innings. The Hustlers put up five runs in the fourth inning and powered their way to ten team hits by seven different players. Chrisitan Dixon (2018, Ensworth HS, TX) and Mike (MJ) Jordan Rodriguez (2020, Corpus Christi Moody HS, TX) powered the Hustler offense as Dixon finished a perfec 2-2 with an RBI, a walk, a double and a run scored with Rodriguez going 2-3 with three RBIs. Ian Blatchford (2018, Fairfield College Prep, CT) provided a consistent bat for the Wolfpack, knocking half the team's hits and finishing 2-3 with a stolen base.

Wade Elliot (2019, Midland HS, TX) took home the win for the Hustlers for his four scoreless innings on the mound. Elliot allowed only one hit and one walk with one strikeout and a fastball averaging 76 mph and topping out at 79 mph.

Nick Larusso (2018, Masuk, CT) is credited with the loss for the Wolfpack for tossing three and a third innings. Larusso allowed six hits and four runs, all earned, while walking two and striking out one.

Dawgs Jump on Battalion Early and Often in W

The Colorado Yard Dawgs scored five times in the first inning on their way to a  9-4 victory over Florida Battalion.

Bryce Matthews (2019, Chaparral, CO), Dominic Tamez (2019, Bear Creek, CO), Brodie Blackford (2020, Pueblo West, CO), and TJ Clarkson (2019, Mesquite, AZ) all had two hits apiece. Matthews had a game-high three runs scored. Tamez scored twice and added an RBI. Blackford added a run and an RBI. Clarkson drove in one run.

Winning pitcher Ethan Zemla (2019, Regis Jesuit, CO) threw five innings, giving up four runs--one earned--on five hits and one walk. He had four strikeouts.

Raymond Sass (2019, Dunedin, FL) went 1 for 3 with a run scored and a run batted in for Battalion. Matt Morrill (2018, Boca Ciega, FL) and Steven Parker Farris (2018, Indian Rocks Christian, FL) both went 1 for 3 with a run scored on the day. Morrill also pitched two innings, gave up one unearned run, and topped out at 74 mph on the mound too. 


Bouton Leads Nationals To 10-4 Victory

The East Cobb Nationals powered their way to a 10-4 win over the Florida Gulf Coast Red Dragons in six innings behind the two-way performance of Isaac Bouton (2019, Fellowship Christian HS, GA). Bouton led the Nationals to 14 team hits and finished the day 3-3 with three RBIs, a double and a run scored while Will Ingram (2018, Mceachern HS, GA) chipped in a 2-2 performance with an RBI and two runs scored. Steven Diaz (2018, Lehigh Senior, FL) and Luke Mitchell (2021, Lehigh Acres, FL) powered the Red Dragons' offense with Diaz knocking in a triple to finish the game 1-3 with two RBIs as Mitchell adding in a 2-2 game at the plate with a double and a run scored.

Bouton also picked up the win on the mound for the National completing a stellar all-around game. Bouton tossed three and two third scoreless innings and allowed four hits and one walk while picking up three strikeouts with a fastball averaging 70 mph and topping out at 73 mph.

Diaz took the loss for the Red Dragons for spending all six innings on the mound. Diaz allowed 14 hits and ten runs, seven earned, while walking four and striking out one

Black Hawks Explode for 14 Runs

Weston Black Hawks scored five runs in the top of the first, and never looked back in a 14-5 victory over Team Elite South Forsyth on Sunday.

Lewis Menendez (2019, Mater Academy Charter, FL), Edgar Quintana (2018, Hialeah HS, FL), and Luis Diaz (2018, Hialeah HS, FL) each drove in two runs for the Black Hawks. Max Baldaccini (2019, Miramar, FL) added two hits and two runs scored, while Justin Rauch (2019, Archbishop McCarthy HS, FL) and Jason Wallace (2018, Western HS, FL) also scored two runs.

Ryan Cabarcas (2018, West Brook HS, FL) earned the win for the Black Hawks, tossing three scoreless innings with three strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 71 mph.

Brad Stephenson (2018, North Oconee HS, GA) led the Elite South lineup with three runs batted in. RBIs were also supplied by Samuel Darling (2019, Jackson County HS, GA) and Jacob Epps (2018, Oconee County HS, GA).

Yankees Win Close Battle With Prospects, 7-6

The Rawlings Arkansas Prospects outhit the Clearwater Yankees, but it was the Yankees that scored one more time to win 7-6. 

For the Yankees, Alexander Kurleman (2018, Calvary Christian, FL) hit a solo shot to right in the second and added another hit, another run, and two more RBIs to his stat line. Nicholas DeFalle (2018, Palm Harbor University, FL) and Pitzer Gills (2019, Calvary Christian, FL) both had a two-hit game.

Winning pitcher Mitchell Farris (2019, FL) threw 5.1 innings of one-run ball, scattering seven hits and walking none. He struck out four and threw almost 73% of his pitches for strikes.

Leadoff guy Thomas Bale (2019, Parkers Chapel, AR) went 3 for 4 with a double, a triple, two runs scored, and two runs batted in. Kyle Clayton (2018, Sylvan Hills, AR) hit an RBI double in the seventh inning to make it a one run ballgame and added another hit and RBI earlier in the game. Jacob Levart (2019, Bauxite AR) and Hayden Vines (2019, Cabot, AR) both had a two-hit game for the Prospects.

Cody Mitchell (2018, Vilonia, AR) threw two innings, faced 14 batters, and struck out two. His fastball sat 71-75 mph and peaked at 76 mph.

Banditos 9-6 Winners Against Select

The Banditos scored five times in the second to take a 6-0 lead and they went on to defeat South Louisiana Select 9-6. 

Logan Kilpatrick (2019, Tomball Memorial, TX) went 3 for 3 with a double, one run scored, and one RBI for Banditos. Seth Cosme (2019, Angleton, TX) went 3 for 4 with a double, one run scored, and one RBI. Rejinald Cubillo (2019, Klein Collins, TX) went 1 for 3 with a double, scored two runs, and added three RBIs.

Hanin Rakrouki (2018, Klein Oak, TX) threw four innings and went on to be the winning pitcher in this one. He gave up three runs--two earned--on three hits and two walks. He struck out seven batters and his fastball topped out at 76 mph.

Austin Cantrelle (2018, South Lafourche, LA) led the way for the Select offensively. He had two of their five hits and scored half of their runs. Parker Boudreaux (2018, Vandebilt Catholic, LA) singled in a run and hit a sac fly in this contest. Dylan Talbot (2018, Vandebilt Catholic, LA) went 1 for 2 with an RBI.


Prospects Take Down Devils in 10-5 Win

Indiana Prospects put up double digit runs and cruised to a 10-5 win over the Texas Sun Devils. The Prospects scored three runs in back to back innings and later had a four-run fifth inning.

Mason Hicks (2019, Hagerstown, IN) hit a bases-clearing double in the third inning to increase their lead to 6-2. Lukas Swan (2018, Tipton, IN) scored three runs and hit a single.

Mason Hicks also did it on the mound, picking up the win as he threw four innings. He gave up four runs--two earned--on four hits and five walks. He struck out four, his fastball sat 71-75 mph and topped out at 77 mph. Brad Westmeyer (2018, Mariemont, OH) threw two innings, only giving up an unearned run on no hits. His fastball sat at 72-75 mph and topped out at 77 mph. Offensively, Westmeyer scored three runs.

For the Sun Devils, Antonio Gauthier (2018, Alfred M. Barbe, LA) went 1 for 2 with two runs scored. David Nolen (2018, St. Louis Catholic, LA) and Brock Dennis (2019, Sam Houston, LA) both had a 1 for 2 day with a run batted in. Dennis threw 1.1 innings, faced 11 batters and topped out at 77 mph.


20-Run Third Powers Hit Dogs

MCBC Hit Dogs scored an astounding 20 runs in the top of the third inning, and turned a 3-2 lead into a 23-4 victory over Florida Gulf Coast Red Dragons on Sunday.

Benjamin Hyndman (2018, De La Salle Collegiate HS, MI) led the Hit Dogs explosion with four hits, including a home run. He drove in two runs, and scored three. Jack Orlowski (2019, Novi HS, MI), Jase Bowen (2019, Perrysburg HS, OH), and Scott Selleck (2019, Marine City HS, MI) all drove in three runs. Spencer Schwellenbach (2018, Saginaw HS, MI) and Deven Mahanti (2018, Farmington HS, MI) had three hits a piece in the 23 run onslaught.

Orlowski earned the win for his two innings on the mound, where he allowed one run with one strikeout. Caleb Jackson (2018, Brother Rice HS, MI) also pitched an inning for the Hit Dogs. Orlowski’s fastball topped out at 68 mph, and Jackson’s peaked at 69 mph.

Runs were driven in for the Red Dragons by Benjamin Grant (2018, Lehigh Senior HS, FL), Steven Diaz (2018, Lehigh Senior HS, FL) and Nicholas Roch (2018, North Fort Myers HS, FL). Barron Northorp (2019, Cape Coral, FL) added a hit and a run scored in the losing effort.

Florida Stealth Roll to 14-2 Win

Florida Stealth scored nine runs in the first inning, and allowed just one hit in a 14-2 victory over Iron Pigs Navy on Sunday.

Jordan Carrion (2019, Doral Academy Charter, FL) led the Stealth will three runs batted in and three hits. Garrett Evans (2018, Apopka HS, FL) and Devin Roche (2018, Fort Lauderdale, FL) each drove in two runs, while Christopher Ferara (2019, Coral Springs Charter, FL), Nicholas Pitelli (2019, Doral Academy Charter, FL) and Trey Newland (2018, Lake Worth, FL) all scored two runs.

Derek Ordaz (2019, Barbara Goleman HS, FL) tossed a four-inning complete game, allowing just one hit and striking out four. His fastball topped out at 74 mph.

The lone hit for the Iron Pigs was recorded by Roche. Roche and Stephen Gomez scored the team’s two runs.

Select Rally in Seventh, Win 9-6

The South Louisiana Select faced a 6-3 deficit going into the top of the seventh inning and responded with a huge six run rally to take the 9-6 victory over the South Florida Bandits. Eight players knocked in 11 team hits for the Select and were powered by Dylan Talbot (2018, Vandebilt Catholic, LA). Talbot finished the game a perfect 3-3 with a game-high three RBIs and a run scored with a double. Tyler Nesbitt (2019, Clewiston, FL) sparked the Bandit offense with two doubles and finished the game 2-2 with an RBI and a run scored.

Coley Detillier (2019, South Lafourche HS, LA) took home the win for the Select for two and a third scoreless innings on the mound. Detillier allowed two hits with no walks and one strikeout.


Hit Dogs Outlast Banditos 10-9

The MCBC Hit Dogs survived a late rally by the Banditos-TX with two runs in the bottom of the final inning to take a 10-9 win in six innings. Both offenses showed their power with 26 combined hits and 18 combined RBIs in a shootout for the Hit Dogs to stay undefeated after two days of pool play. Jack Orlowski (2019, Novi HS, MI) powered the Hit Dogs' offense with a perfect 3-3 game at the plate with two RBIs, a double, a stolen base and a run scored. Logan Kilpatrick (2019, Tomball Memorial HS, TX) sparked the Banditos offense with a standout 3-4 game in the batter's box with two runs scored and a double.

Nino Puckett (2018, Brother Rice HS, MI) took the win for the Hit Dogs for one inning on the mound. Puckett allowed one hit and no runs while walking two and striking out one in relief of Austin Frederick (2018, Chippewa Vally, MI) with a fastball averaging 79 mph and topping out at 82 mph. Frederick tossed five innings and allowed 11 hits and six runs, all earned, while walking two and striking out two. 


Iron Pigs Rally, Win 6-4

The Iron Pigs faced a 4-2 deficit in the top of the fourth and responded with four runs to take a 6-4 victory over the Dallas Tigers-Hernandez despite being outhit 9-7. Cade Koerick (2019, Venice Senior, FL) brought the consistency to the Iron Pig lineup while Aaron Martin (2019, Port Charlotte HS, FL) provided the power. Koerick finished the game 2-2 with a stolen base and a run scored with Martin picking up two RBIs and a walk on a 1-2 game at the plate. Austin Lambert (2019, Coalgate HS, OK) sparked the Tigers' offense with a 2-3 game with two runs scored, two stolen bases and a double. 

Cameron Wademan (2019, Fort Myers, FL) took the win for the Iron Pigs for his two and a third innings on the mound. Wademan was one of four pitchers to take the mound for the Iron Pigs and allowed three hits and one earned run while both walking and striking out one with a fastball averaging 72 mph and topping out at 76 mph. 

The Tigers dug deep into their bullpen without much success after five different pitchers took the mound. Brenden Dixon (2019, Weatherford HS, TX) took the loss for his two-thirds of an inning on the mound after allowing two hits and four runs, two earned, while walking two with no strikeouts. 

Sun Devils Roll to 11-3 Victory

The Texas Sun Devils picked up their first win of the tournament with an 11-3 rout of the IBAHS Knights in five innings. The Sun Devils put up five runs in two different innings; in the second inning to retake the lead after falling down 2-1, and in the fifth inning to ice the game and secure the win. Nine different players all had one hit each for the Sun Devils with David Nolen (2018, St. Louis Catholic, LA) and Mason Dubois (2018, West Orange-Stark, TX) leading the way. Nolen finished 1-2 with two RBIs, two runs scored and a double with Dubois adding two RBIs and a run scored while knocking in a double.

Brock Dennis (2019, Sam Houston HS, LA) took home the win for the Sun Devils for his three innings on the mound. Dennis allowed five hits and two runs, both earned, while walking three and striking out six.

Eduardo Tousset (2018, International Baseball Academy, PR) is credited with the loss for the Knights for four innings pitched and allowed seven hits and eight runs, six earned, while walking five and striking out two.

Dawgs Drub Prospects 10-4

The Florida River Dawgs powered their way to 10-4 win over the Rawlings Arkansas Prospects in five innings behind 14 team hits by eight different Dawgs. Four of the eight players logged multi-hit games for the Dawgs and were led by Hunter Bogumil (2018, Bradenton Academy, FL) and John DiPasqua (2019, Braden River HS, FL). Both players went a perfect 3-3 at the plate with Bogumil notching two runs scored and a double while DiPasqua logged two RBIs, a stolen base and a run scored. Caleb Whitson (2019, Braden River HS, FL) knocked in a homer and added a 2-3 game with two RBIs and a run scored. Kyle Clayton (2018, Sylvan Hills HS, AR) sparked the offense the the Prospects with a homer in the bottom of the fourth and finished 2-2 with an RBI, a stolen base and two runs scored.

Danny Rodriguez (2019, Sarasota HS, FL) picked up the win for the River Dawgs for his two and two thirds innings on the mound. Rodriguez allowed three hits and four runs, three earned, while walking four and striking out seven with a fastball averaging 75 mph and topping out at 78 mph.

Thomas Bale (2019, Parkers Chapel HS, AR) took the loss for the Prospects for his three innings pitched and allowed six hits and three runs, all earned, while walking one and striking out two with a homer hit and a fastball averaging 69 mph and topping out at 76 mph. 

Offense Powers Mizuno to Easy Victory

Team Mizuno Houston flexed their offensive power with 15 team hits by eight different players as they cruised to a 14-2 win over the Colorado Yard Dawgs in five innings. Four  Houston players notched multi-hit games and were powered by Adam Kloffenstein (2018, Mangolia HS, TX) and Gabriel Castillo (2018, Kaufer HS, TX). Kloffenstein finished a stellar game a perfect 4-4 with four RBIs, a double play and three runs scored with a triple and two doubles while Castillo added a 3-4 game with two RBIs, a run scored, and a stolen base with a double. Brodie Blackford (2020, Pueblo West, CO) went 1-2 with two RBIs and a double to lead the Yard Dawgs' offense.

Kloffenstein also picked up the win for Houson for his three innings on the mound to start the game, allowing two hits and two runs, neither earned, while walking one and striking out two. Kloffenstein showed sound mechanics and mound presence with flashes of curveball potential and a good command of a fastball averaging 73 mph and topping out at 77 mph.

Elliot Pigatti (2019, Bear Creek HS, CO) is credited with the loss for the Yard Dawgs for his one and a third innings on the mound. Piagatti allowed six hits and seven runs, all earned, while walking three and striking out one.

Jackets Win in High Scoring Affair

The Georgia Jackets National scored early and often, doing just enough defensively to take a 13-8 victory over Texas Hardball White to remain in first place in the Pool F standings in five innings. Both teams knocked in seven hits with Hardball adding in eight walks, but it wasn't enough to rally all the way back in the fifth. Bobby Spencer (2020, Lakeside HS, GA) sparked the Jackets' offense with a perfect 2-2 game at the plate, picking up one RBI, a double and a game-high three runs scored with Hayden Maynor (2020, Soddy Daisy HS, TN) adding in a 1-2 game with a run scored and a game-high two RBIs. Dax Dathe (2019, Stony Point HS, TX) and Shane Gonzalez (2019, Liberty Hill HS, TX) paced the Hardball offense with Dathe going 2-3 with two runs scored and a double while Gonzalez adding in a perfect 2-2 game with with an RBI, a run scored, and a double. 

Bailey Gaines (2018, Ringgold HS, GA) took the win for the Jackets for two innings on the mound, allowing two hits and one earned run while walking two and striking out three with an average of 71 mph and topping out at 75 mph.

Griffin Moore (2019, Vista Ridge HS, TX) is credited with the loss for Texas Hardball for two and a third innings on the mound. Moore allowed two hits and eight runs, five earned, while walking three and striking out one.

East Cobb Astros beat Wolfpack.

The East Cobb Astros cruise past the Connecticut Wolfpack, 11-3 victory. The East Cobb Astros were led today by Justin Wrobleski's (Sequoyah, Canton, GA 2018) hiting. He went 2-3 for the day and scored three runs off a triple in the fifth inning and singled in the sixth inning. Jack Roberge (Fairfield College Preparatory, Monroe, CT 2019) had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the first inning and tripled in the third inning.

Ethan Wright (Hillgrove, Marrietta, GA 2019) had an impressive outing against the Connecticut Wolfpack's lineup. He held the Connecticut Wolfpack hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one. Gavin Lee (Middle School, San Diego, CA 2021) got the win today for the East Cobb Astros. He pitched one inning and allowed no runs. Chris Borter (Fairfield Ludlowe, Southport, CT 2019) took the lose today as he only allowed eleven runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out five. Lee fastball range for the day was 78-80 mph.

Stealth Power to 11-2 Victory

The Florida Stealth used a huge third inning to answer the two runs from the Texas Spikes with six runs to take control and win the game 11-2 in five innings. The Stealth offense powered its way to 14 team hits and ten team RBIs while being led by Dane Dorsainvil (2018, Wellington, FL) and Derek Ordaz (2019, Barbra Goleman HS, FL). Dorsainvil led the way with a 2-3 game at the plate with a game-high three RBIS, a runs scored and a double with Ordaz adding a perfect 2-2 day at the plate with two RBIs and a run scored from a triple. Garrett Arrendondo (2019, George Ranch, TX) rallied the Spikes by a 1-3 game at the plate with a double in the third inning to give him two RBIs.

Dorsainvil also put the effort in defensively by picking up the win on the mound for the Stealth for his three innings pitched. Dorsainvil allowed two hits and two runs, one earned, while walking one and striking out one with a fastball averaging 72 mph and topping out at 77 mph. 

Daniel Shipley (2018, Fort Bend Austin HS, TX) took the loss for the Spikes for his full four innings on the mound. Shipley allowed 14 hits and eleven runs, ten earned, while walking three and striking out one with a fastball averaging 68 mph and topping out at 79 mph.

Alex Cintron Baseball beat Naples.

Naples Naturals falls 9-1 at the hands of Alex Cintron Baseball. Omar Sherman (Lawrence E Elkins, Missouri City, TX 2018) racked up two RBIs on one hit for Alex Cintron Baseball. He doubled in the second inning. Johnny Long (Undecided, Naples, FL 2018) was the other hot hitter for the Naples Naturals. Long went 1-2 for the game.

James "Trey" Cline (Cypress Falls, Houston, TX 2018) looked sharp on the mound. He gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three during his four innings of work. Andrew Lang (Undecided, Naples, FL 2018) lasted just two innings on the hill for Naples Naturals before being pulled. He surrendered three hits and five runs.

Yankees Survive, Win 9-6

The Clearwater Yankees had to sweat out a three-run rally by the Iron Pigs Navy in the bottom of the sixth, but survived for the 9-6 win. The Yankees built up their six run lead despite being outhit 10-8 with a huge four-run fourth inning and added to it with a run in the top of the sixth before the rally by the Iron Pigs fell short. Matthew Abbott (2019, Alonso HS, FL) paced the Yankees with a perfect 2-2 game at the plate with two RBIs, two runs scored, two walks and a stolen base.

Jesse O'Rorke (2019, Steinbrenner HS, FL) picked up the win for the Yankees for two innings on the mound to start out the game. O'Rorke allowed four hits and three runs, all earned, while walking four with no strikeouts with a fastball averaging 66 mph and topping out at 70 mph before being relieved in the third by Derek Barone (2018, Wiregrass Ranch HS, FL). Barone tossed the final four innings while allowing six hits and three runs, all earned, while both walking and striking out one.

D1 Renegades tie Team Elite South.

D1 Renegades and the Team Elite South Forsyth tied after seven innings of baseball. Athan Magalio (Middle School, Lebannon, NJ 2019) and George Eberle (Voorhees, Californ, NJ 2019) were the hot hitters for the game. Magalio went 1-2 for the day and had one RBI. Eberle went 1-2 for the day. Landon Sims (South Forsyth, Cumming, GA 2019) and Hunter Martin (West Forsyth, Cumming, GA 2018) were the other hot hitters today for the Team Elite South Forsyth. Sims went 2-3 for the day and had one RBI. Martin went 2-2 for the day and scored one run.

Both teams had solid pitching today as you can see it on the scoreboard. Damian Walls started the game off for the D1 Renegades. He tossed three innings worth while giving up two hits, two walks, and striking out three. Carter Mullikin (North Forsyth, Cumming, GA 2019) was the other pitcher that had a good day too. He tossed six innings worth while giving up five hits, one run, four walks, and striking out six.

The Collier Tigers fall 14-3 at the hands of the Clearwater Yankees. Noah Birthisel (Calvary Christian, Palm Harbor, FL 2018) had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. The Clear Yankees went up for good in the second, scoring four runs on an RBI double by Derek Barone(Wiregrass Ranch, Wesley Chapel, FL 2018), an error, and a two-run single by Matthew Abbot (Alonso, Tampa, FL 2019). Clearwater Yankees as a team today had fourteen runs scored and twelve hits.

Nolan Hudi (Undecided, Safety Harbor, FL 2019) got it done on the bump on the way to victory. He allowed three runs over four innings with striking out four, walked three and gave up two hits. Bryce Ehlen (Gulf Coast, Naples, FL 2019) ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, with getting the loss for the game. He lasted just two innings, walked five, struck out one, and allowed four runs.

Hit Dogs Pitching Blanks Arkansas in Victory

(Alec Dopp) - MCBC Hit Dogs defeated Rawlings Arkansas Prospects by a 3-0 score Saturday morning at Terry Park Stadium. The win improved the Hit Dogs' record at the 2014 13u BCS Finals to 3-0-0, meanwhile dropping Rawlings to 1-2-0 at the event.

Deven Mahanti (2018, Farmington HS, MI) got the winning decision on the mound for MCBC Hit Dogs, recording five innings of hitless baseball in which he walked five and struck out four with a 73-75 MPH fastball.

Benjamin Hyndman (2018, De La Salle Collegiate, MI) produced three strikeouts in his two innings of relief for the Hit Dogs, topping out at 75 MPH while going 1-for-3 with a triple and run batted in at the plate.

Rene Ramos (2018, Klein Collins HS, TX) got the start and winning decision on the mound for Texas, allowing just one hit and no earned runs to cross home to go with two strikeouts over six innings of work. Ramos induced eight ground outs, nine fly outs and produced a fastball velocity of 69-71 MPH.

Logan Kilpatrick (2019, Tomball Memorial HS, TX) led the Banditos' offensive charge with a 1-for-1 day that included a double, stolen base, two walks and run batted in.

Ten-Run Second Inning Powers Mizuno to Win

(Alec Dopp) - A ten-run second inning powered Team Mizuno Houston to a convincing 12-0 victory over South Louisiana Select Saturday morning at Terry Park Clemente, its third win in as many games at the 2014 13u BCS Finals.

Derrick Cherry (2018, Goose Creek Memorial HS, TX) provided a 3-for-3 batting line with a double for Mizuno Houston, including two runs scored, two runs batted in and a stolen base.

Matthew Colecio (2018, Bishop HS, TX) received the winning decision on the mound for Houston, logging 3.1 innings in which he struck out four, walked one and -- most importantly -- allowed no hits or earned runs to cross home. Colecio's fastball sat in the 70-72 MPH range, helping him produce five swinging strikes in the game.

Big First Inning Lifts Iron Pigs over Knights

(Alec Dopp) - Dallas Tigers - Hernandez defeated Texas Sun Devils by a convincing 11-3 score Saturday afternoon at City of Palms Park Stadium. Dallas pounded out 11 hits in 27 at bats and held Texas to a 6-for-22 performance at the plate en route to its second win at the 2014 13u BCS Finals.

Cameron Constantine (2019, McKinney North HS, TX) led the offensive charge for Dallas, going 2-for-2 with a double, walk, two runs batted in, one run scored and two stolen bases. Anthony Garza Jr. (2019, South Grand Prarie HS, TX) got the winning decision on the mound, topping out at a game-high 75 MPH with his fastball and recording one strikeout in his lone inning of relief.

Blackford Helps Yard Dawgs to 8-7 Win Over Bandits

(Alec Dopp) - Colorado Yard Dawgs defeated South Florida Bandits by a slim 8-7 score Saturday morning at City of Palms Park Auxiliary, improving its record to 2-1-0 at the 2014 13u BCS Finals.

Brodie Blackford (2020, Pueblo West HS, CO) led the way offensively for Colorado, going 2-for-3 (both hits doubles) with one run batted in in the contest. Kian Manmano (2019, Legend HS, CO) got the winning decision for the Yard Dawgs, topping out at 73 MPH with his fastball.

Tyler Burton (2018, Labelle HS, FL) recorded all six innings on the mound for the Bandits, striking out six, allowing five earned runs to touch home on 11 hits with a fastball velocity of 75 MPH. Burton showcased solid arm action and good feel for a 11/5 breaking curveball (61-63 MPH).

Cuprey Staves Off Late Rally, Beats East Cobb

(Alec Dopp) - Though East Cobb Nationals would rally for three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, the lead Cuprey Baseball Club managed to attain earlier in the ballgame proved too much to overcome, as Cuprey came out on the winning side of a 5-3 score at 5-Plex Field 1 Saturday morning at the 2014 13u BCS Finals.

Five different players scored in the game for Cuprey Baseball, one of which was Elvis Rumaldo (2019, Canovanas, PR), who stole a game-high three bases for his team. Yoshua Martinez (2018, Colegio De La Salle, PR) struck out six batters over seven innings of work on the mound for Cuprey, allowing three earned runs to cross home on seven hits and three walks. Martinez showed an ability to effectively pitch inside and pound the strike zone with 53 fastballs (68-70 MPH) and 32 curveballs (59-61 MPH).

Zachary Tipton (2018, Alexander HS, GA) and Tyler Shultz (2019, Chapel Hill HS, GA) each recorded doubles in the game for East Cobb, while Will Ingram (2018, McEachern HS, GA) and Camden Lovrich (2019, Lassiter HS, GA) nabbed stolen bases for the Nationals. Steven Peterson (2018, Harrison HS, GA) came on in relief, tossing 3.2 innings of no-hit baseball to go with a fastball sitting 72-75 MPH for East Cobb.

Georgia Jackets Explode Late for Win

Georgia Jackets National scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth to break open a 4-4 tie, and eventually claimed a 9-6 victory over Tidewater Drillers Blue on Saturday.

Grayson Panter (2018, Baylor HS, TN) bashed a grand slam for the Jackets, accounting for his four runs batted in and run scored. Teddy Lepcio (2018, Baylor HS, TN) added two runs batted in, while Nathan Camp (2018, Ringgold HS, GA) scored three runs and hit safely twice. Ty Jones (2018, Lafayette HS, GA) also stole a base.

Camp earned the victory for the Jackets, tossing two innings and striking out one hitter. His fastball topped out at 75 mph.

Six of the nine Drillers hits went for extra bases. Mason Dunaway (2019, Hickory HS, VA) drove in two runs with a double. Nicholas Biddison (2018, St. Christopher’s School, VA) had two triples, driving in a run and scoring another. Cullen Lyons (2019, Frank W. Cox HS, VA) also added a triple, scoring a run and driving in one.

Vipers Balance Hitting, Pitching in Win

Majestic Vipers scored in every inning, and only surrendered one hit in a 15-0 victory over Texas Hardball White on Saturday.

Two players — Daniel Bernstein (2019, Sickles HS, FL) and Dylan Eskew (2019, Steinbrenner HS, FL) — drove in three runs for the Vipers. Donovan Reeves (2018, Sickles HS, FL) and Joseph Palus (2019, Jesuit HS, FL) also added two RBIs a piece, while James Sanchez (2018, Alonso HS, FL) and Justin Turk (2019, Alonso HS, FL) scored two runs each in the victory.

Eskew earned the win on the mound, surrendering just one hit over three innings. He struck out five, and displayed a fastball that topped out at 72 mph. Marc DeGusipe (2019, Alonso HS, FL) also struck out five hitters in his two innings, displaying a 66 mph fastball in two hitless, scoreless innings.

The lone hit for Texas was a double supplied by Dax Dathe (2019, Stony Point HS, TX).

Wolfpack Work Quickly to Defeat Naturals

Connecticut Wolfpack needed just three innings to post a 16-1 victory over Naples Naturals on Saturday.

Ryan Spano (2018, East Haven HS, CT) led the Wolfpack offense, driving in four runs and scoring another two with two singles. Jack Roberge (2019, Fairfield College Prep HS, CT) added two hits, two runs and three runs batted in. Nick Larusso (2018, Masuk HS, CT) added two hits, and seven Wolfpack players scored at least twice.

Matt Brown (2018, Staples HS, CT) earned the win for his two innings of work on the mound. He allowed one run on four hits, and struck out two hitters. His fastball topped out at 72 mph. Jake Schwarzstein (2019, Fairfield Ludlowe HS, CT) also tossed a perfect inning, also displaying a 72 mph fastball.

Ty Betlach (2018, Naples, FL) drove in a run for the Naturals, and the run was scored by Johnny Long (2018, Naples, FL). Hits were also added by Hunter Scalan (2018, Naples, FL) and Jimmy Wuschke (2018, Naples, FL).

Late Runs Propel Alex Cintron Baseball

Alex Cintron Baseball scored two runs in the top of the sixth inning to claim a 4-3 victory over East Cobb Astros in Fort Myers on Saturday.

Trey Cline (2018, Cypress Falls HS, TX) was a major part of the Cintron victory, as he had two singles and three runs batted in. Andres Carrillo (2018, Kempner HS, TX) added a run batted in, and Jonas Traweek (2018, Magnolia West HS, TX) scored two runs. Dylan Bonnain (2019, Tomball HS, TX) also supplied a double and a single.

Joel Izaguirre (2019, Mayde Creek HS, TX) earned the win on the hill, allowing just one earned run on five hits. Izaguirre struck out two, and displayed a fastball that topped out at 73 mph. Nathan Silva (2019, Seven Lakes HS, TX) also pitched an inning, and topped out at 64 mph.

Two Astros runs were driven in, delivered by JP Martin (2019, Cartersville HS, GA) and Gavin Lee (2021, San Diego, CA). Martin added two hits, while Caleb Reis (2019, Lassiter HS, GA), Kyle Gray (2018, Mt. Paran Christian School, GA), and Justin Wrobleski (2018, Sequoyah HS, GA) scored the three runs.

Wrobleski was the top pitcher for the Astros, as he struck out three hitters and only surrendered one hit over two innings. His fastball peaked at 82 mph.

Iron Pigs Score Late to Win

D1 Renegades Use Big Inning to Roll to Win

D1 Renegades scored their 15 runs in a three-inning span, and claimed a 15-4 victory over Orlando Stingers South at Terry Park on Saturday.

Leading the Renegades’ offensive onslaught was Charlie Eberle (2019, Califon, NJ) and Colin Mullen (2018, Warren Hills Regional HS, NJ), who each drove in two runs. George Eberle (2019, Califon, NJ) and Damian Walls (2019, North Hunterdon Regional HS, NJ) supplied three runs scored a piece, while Garrett Koch (2018, Warren Hills Regional HS, NJ) was responsible for two hits.

Koch earned the win for his 3.2 innings on the mound, allowing just one earned run. His fastball topped out at 68 mph. Athan Magalio (2019, Lebanon, NJ) pitched the final 1.1 innings, and displayed a fastball that peaked at 65 mph.

Marucci Bulls scored five runs in the bottom of the first inning and never looked back in a 9-4 victory over Team Elite South Forsyth on Saturday at Terry Park.

Kevin Ortiz’s (2019, William B. Travis HS, TX) two runs batted in led the Bulls offense, and Andre Duplantier (2019, Houston, TX) supplied two runs scored. The Bulls only had five hits, recorded by five different players, and were aided by drawing 13 walks.

The winning pitcher was Simeon Woods (2018, Dulles HS, TX), who tossed a fastball that topped out at 72 mph.

Mitchell Landon (2019, Milton HS, GA) drove in two runs to lead the run production for Elite South. Trace Jeffers (2019, Prince Avenue Christian School, GA) added two hits, while Samuel Darling (2019, Jackson County HS, GA) and Bradley Prince, Jr. (2018, South Forsyth HS, GA) supplied two runs scored a piece.

Weston Black Hawks Pull Off Comeback

Weston Black Hawks pulled off a shocking comeback, scoring five runs with two outs in the bottom of the sixth and final inning to claim a 10-9 victory over Diamond Jacks Super 13 in the stadium at City of Palms Park.

The rally began with two outs, and runners on first and second base. A single from Lewis Menendez (2019, Mater Academy Charter, FL) loaded the bases, and a single from Edgar Quintana (2018, Hialeah Senior HS, FL) cut the lead to 9-6. The deficit was trimmed to two runs on a single from Rolando Leyva (2018, Hialeah Senior HS, FL). The game-tying hit came from Justin Rauch (2019, Archbishop McCarthy HS, FL), who clubbed a single to center, brining two runs to the plate. The Black Hawks walked off on a single to right field from Santiago Garavito (2018, American Heritage HS, FL).

The winning pitcher for the Black Hawks was Kevin Martin (2018, Weston, FL), whose fastball topped out at 71 mph.

The leader of the Diamond Jacks at the plate was Jack Gilmer (2019, Robbinsville HS, NJ), who scored twice, drove in three runs, and hit safely twice. David Cucci (2019, Hunterdon Central HS, NJ) and Tyler Lehman (2019, Robbinsville HS, NJ) each added two hits in the losing effort.

Florida Stealth Stun Nationals

Florida Stealth stunned East Cobb Nationals, scoring five runs in what proved to be final inning, winning 9-6 at City of Palms Park in Fort Myers on Saturday.

The Stealth were led at the plate by Ryan Rivera (2018, Jensen Beach, FL), who ended a home run short of the cycle. Rivera drove in two runs, had three hits, and scored one run. Christian Lopez (2018, Mater Lakes Academy, FL), Carmine Lane (2019, Loxahatchee, FL) and Jordan Carrion (2019, Doral Academy Charter, FL) each had two hits in the victory.

Lane earned the win for the Stealth, allowing two runs with two strikeouts over 2.1 innings. His fastball topped out at 69 mph. Henrique Garcia (2019, Miami Killian HS, FL) pitched 2.2 innings, and allowed two earned runs with a strikeout. His fastball peaked at 72 mph.

Tyler Shultz (2019, Chapel Hill HS, GA) crushed a home run for the Nationals, leading the offense with a run batted in. Zachary Tipton (2018, Alexander HS, GA) added two runs batted in, and Issac Bouton (2019, Fellowship Christian HS, GA) accounted for two hits.

Late Run Forces 5-5 Tie

Florida Battalion scored a run in the top of the fifth inning to force a 5-5 tie with Team Elite Black. By clinging to the tie, Team Elite Black clinched first place in Pool J.

Jake Little (2020, Plant HS, FL) and Raymond Sass (2019, Dunedin HS, FL) drove in one run each for Florida, and Sass added two singles. Kyle Lang (2019, James W. Mitchell HS, FL) also singled twice, while Sass and Cody Lee (2018, Largo HS, FL) each stole a base.

The top pitcher for Florida was Lang, who allowed just one earned run over three innings. He struck out two hitters, and displayed a fastball that topped out at 67 mph.

Charlie Aiken (2019, North Forsyth HS, GA) led the Elite Black offense, as he drove in two runs. William Haugabook III (2018, Oconee County HS, GA), Brandon Blume (2018, Mill Creek HS, GA), and Jason Dickens (2019, Oconee County HS, GA) each had a run batted in, with Haugabook leading the team with two hits.

Elite Black’s best pitcher was Keith Johnson (2019, Buford HS, GA), who did not allow an earned run over 2.2 innings. Johnson’s fastball peaked at 72 mph.

Indiana Prospects Never Trail in Win

Indiana Prospects scored two runs in the first inning, and never looked back in a 9-2 victory over S3 Hustlers in Fort Myers on Saturday.

Colten Panaranto (2018, Terre Haute North Vigo HS, IN) bashed a home run for Indiana, leading the offense with three runs batted in, three runs scored, and two hits. Mason Hicks (2019, Hagerstown HS, IN) added a run batted in, while Brad Westmeyer (2018, Mariemont HS, OH) supplied two hits, a run batted in, and two runs scored. Andrea Dalatri (2018, Christian Brothers Academy, NJ) and Steven Molinet (2019, Tecumseh HS, IN) each had a double in the victory.

Molinet earned the victory on the mound, as he did not allow an earned run over 3.2 innings. He allowed one hit, struck out six, and displayed a fastball that peaked at 74 mph. In relief, Dalatri fired two scoreless, hitless innings, and struck out a hitter with a 74 mph fastball.

The Hustlers’ two runs were driven in by Wade Elliott (2019, Midland HS, TX) and MJ Rodriguez (2020, Corpus Christi Moody HS, TX). Hambleton Oliver (2019, Calallen HS, TX) had the team’s lone hit.

Cupey Rolls to 15-2 Victory

Cupey Baseball Club scored a run in every inning, and earned a 15-2 triumph over Texas Spikes in five innings on Saturday.

Cupey received a balanced effort at the plate, as seven players recorded hits and eight players drove in at least one run. Carlos Y. Azpurrua (2018, San Juan, PR) drove in two runs, as did Tommy Boyer (2019, Harmony HS, FL). Elvis Rumaldo (2019, Canovanas, PR) scored three runs, while Alexander L. Del Rio (2018, Colegio De La Salle, PR), Ricardo Feliciano (2018, Escuela Carmen Belen Veiga, PR), and Yoshua Martinez (2018, Colegio De La Salle, PR) each scored two runs.

Jonathan G. Rivera (2018, Felipe Colon Diaz, PR) earned the win for his three innings on the mound. Rivera allowed two runs on two hits, and struck out two. His fastball topped out at 78 mph. Rumaldo tossed two scoreless, hitless innings, recording a fastball that peaked at 72 mph.

Georgia Jackets National went a combined 11-for-32 at the plate Friday morning at the 2014 13u BCS Finals, a performance that proved more than enough to overcome a Majestic Vipers offense that accrued just four hits in 30 plate appearances en route to a 10-2 victory. The win pushed Georgia's record at the event to 1-0-0.

Holden Tucker (2019, Ringgold, GA) got the winning decision on the bump for Georgia, logging six full innings in which he allowed two earned runs to touch home. He also struck out four, walked five and allowed a mere two hits to Majestic's lineup in the outing.

Grayson Panter (2018, Baylor, GA) recorded Georgia Jackets National's lone extra base hit in the game (a double), helping him produce a 1-for-3 batting line with two runs batted in, one run scored, one walk and a stolen base. Nathan Camp (2018, Ringgold, GA) chipped in with a 2-for-3 day with a pair of runs driven in and one scored from the leadoff spot in Georgia's lineup.

Gabriel Castillo (2018, Kaufer HS, TX) got the winning decision on the mound for Mizuno, logging four complete innings in which he allowed one earned run to cross home. He struck out four, walked three and allowed two hits, while going 2-for-3 with a double and two runs batted in for his team at the dish.

Banditos of Austin Score Final Nine Runs

Banditos of Austin surrendered the first run of the game, but scored the final nine runs to beat Florida Gulf Coast Red Dragons, 9-1, on Saturday.

The nine hits came on just five hits for the Banditos. Two of the five hits were singles from Nick Duran (2018, Cleburne, TX), who also drove in two runs. Rhett Trilcek (2019, Hallettsville HS, TX) added two runs scored, while Matthew Castro (2019, Tuloso-Midway HS, TX) had a hit and a run batted in.

Peyton Mills (2018, Round Rock HS, TX) fired a complete game over five innings, allowing five hits and an unearned run over his five innings. He earned the win, and his fastball topped out at 67 mph.

The Red Dragons also had five hits in the defeat. The leader was Aaron Catala (2019, Labelle HS, FL), who had two singles. The lone run was driven in by Mason Russo (2018, North Fort Myers HS, FL), and was scored by Barron Northorp (2019, Cape Coral, FL).

13-Run Third Powers Banditos

Banditos Black scored 13 runs in the third inning, and claimed a 15-0 victory in three innings over Clearwater Yankees.

Alexander Lopez (2019, Reagan HS, TX) drove in four runs in the victory, and had three hits, including a triple. Jose Gutierrez (2018, Lamar HS, TX) and Cash Rugely (2018, Cedar Ridge HS, TX) both drove in two runs. Cameron Godfrey (2018, Klein Collins HS, TX) added three runs scored, while Greyson Kash (2018, Hardin-Jefferson HS, TX) and Jose Gonzalez (2018, Klein HS, TX) each had two hits.

Colton Debowski (2018, Conroe HS, TX) tossed a three-inning complete game for the Banditos, allowing just one hit with five strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 78 mph, and he displayed the ability to work downhill and showed good command on his fastball.

Nicholas DeFalle (2018, Palm Harbor University HS, FL) had the lone hit for the Yankees. 

Banditos Black bowl over Iron Pigs Navy 12-0

Eight different players drove in a run for Banditos Black as everyone pitched in for a 12-0 win over Iron Pigs Navy. So far the Banditos are averaging 13 runs a game while they have not allowed a run yet.

Kameron Johnson (2018, Middle School, Dickinson, TX) was a big part of that with two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI. Jose Gonzalez (2018, Middle School, Spring, TX) knocked home two with a double, single, and one run scored. Sanson Faltine III (2019, Middle School, Richmond, TX) also had two hits, singling twice with one RBI. Cash Rugley (2018, Middle School, Round Rock, TX) was hit by a pitch and reached on an error twice and came around to score all three times.

Reed Smith (2019, Middle School, Cypress, TX) struck out six in 3.2 innings, not allowing any runs on two hits and four walks. His fastball was 76-80 mph, peaking at 81 mph with a 69-72 mph curve and 72 mph change up. He competes on the mound with projectable stuff, a smooth delivery, and solid arm action with good command from a 3/4 arm angle.

Roche and Rocomes were the only two to have a base knock for Iron Pigs Navy, with Roche also stealing a bag and throwin 1.2 innings of relief.

Marucci Bulls outlast Orlando Stingers South 7-5

The Marucci Bulls rode an impressive offensive performance from Aaron Wisnieski (2018, Middle School, Wharton, TX) to a 7-5 win over Orlando Stingers South. 

Wisnieski drove in four runs for the Bulls with a double, triple, and a run scored. Three other Bulls had multi-hit games as well. Kevin Ortiz (2019, Middle School, Houston, TX) doubled, singled, and drove in one. Michael Davis (2018, Middle School, Dickinson, TX) scored once and singled twice, and Andre Duplantier (2019, Undecided, Houston, TX) scored three times, reaching twice on singles and once on an error. Carlos Calvillo (2018, Middle School, Pearland, TX) doubled as well, his only hit.

Davis was credited with the win on the mound after throwing two innings with three strike outs and one run allowed. He sat 71-75 mph with his fastball and also threw a 48-60 mph curve. Calvillo hit 75 mph as well with his heater, in two innings of work. 

Nelson Smith (2019, Middle School, Lehigh Acres, FL) was 2-2 for Orlando Stingers South, scoring once. Tony Rios (2018, Middle School, Cape Coral, FL) smacked a double, scored once and drove in one while Max Rippl (2018, Middle School, Fort Myers, FL) was 1-3 with a stolen base and RBI.

Team Elite Black outlasts S3 Hustlers 7-5

Team Elite Black continues to roll through the competition, knocking off S3 Hustlers by the score of 7-5.

William Clark III (2019, Middle School, Cumming, GA) drove in three for Team Elite, singling and hitting a sac fly. Jalen Jones (2018, Middle School, McDonough, GA) doubled, scored once, drove home one and singled in three trips. Keith Johnson (2019, Middle School, Buford, GA) had a multi-hit game as well, singling twice.

Charlie Aiken (2019, Middle School, Cumming, GA) supplied three innings of perfect relief, not allowing a single baserunner with no strike outs. He sat 61-67 mph, peaking at 68 mph with his heater. Jason Dickens (2019, Middle School, Watkinsville, GA) got the win despite six walks and five runs allowed in two innings.

Christian Dixon (2018, Middle School, Nashville, TN) had the only hit for the Hustlers, an RBI double where he came around to score. Six batters walked and two more were hit by pitches.

Indiana Prospects demolish FL Battalion 17-0H

It only took two and a half innings for this one to be final with Indiana Prospects throwing up a number so far beyond crooked in the first, it'll make your head spin. After the first inning, Indiana had a 15-0 lead before tacking on two more in the second and not even getting an at bat in the third inning. They also limited Florida Battalion to zero hits and just two walks in the game.

Mason Gillis (2019, Middle School, New Castle, IN) doubled, tripled, drove in four and scored twice for the Prospects. Carson Dolezal (2019, Middle School, Tipton, IN) doubled twice, scored twice and knocked one in. Steve Molinet (2019, Middle School, Booneville, IN) was 3-3 with two RBI and two runs scored, and Lukas Swan (2018, Middle School, Kemtton, IN) drove home three with a double and single, scoring once as well.

Colten Panaranto (2018, Middle School, Terre Haute, IN) threw two scoreless and hitless innings, striking out three with one walk. His fastball was explosive and touched 81 mph with a 68-69 mph hook mixed in. Brad Westmeyer (2018, Middle School, Terrace Park, OH) followed with a perfect inning of his own, hitting 72 mph on the gun.

Matt Morrill (2018, Middle School, St. Petersburg, FL) was one of two members of the Florida Battalion to reach base, walking once. Jake Little (2020, Middle School, Tampa, FL) reached on an error.


Red Dragons and Diamond Jacks finish knotted at 2

Seven innings would not be long enough to decide the fate of the match up between Florida Gulf Coast Red Dragons and Diamond Jacks Super 13, as the game ended in a 2-2 tie.

Stephen Seyez (2018, Middle School, Lehigh Acres, FL) was 2-3 for the Red Dragons, having the only multi-hit game for his team. Benjamin Grant (2018, Middle School, Lehigh Acres, FL) doubled, walked and scored two runs while Nicholas Roch (2018, Middle School, Fort Myers, FL) had the only RBI with a single. Nicholas Perdue (2018, Undecided, Lehigh Acres, FL) reached base once on a walk but stole the next two bases and was stranded on third. 

Grant threw two scoreless innings, striking out two with two hits and two walks allowed while hitting 67 mph with his fastball. Bryan Almanzar (2019, Middle School, Lehigh Acres, FL) had three innings of work, allowing just two walks and one hit with a strike out. Almanzar used a fastball that touched 65 mph and a 54-58 mph curve.

Alexander Antigua (2019, Middle School, New Brunswick, NJ) had a double and a single for Diamond Jacks and wasn't even the most impressive guy at the plate for his team. That honor went to Dante Bozutti (2019, Middle School, Branchburg, NJ) who reached base all three times up on two walks and a two run single. He also stole three bases and accounted for all the runs driven in for his team. 

Jack Wilson (2019, Middle School, Flemington, NJ) threw five innings with just one unearned run allowed, striking out one with three walks and two hits. He hit 69 mph with his fastball and threw a 58 mph curve as well. 

Florida Stealth romp Cupey Baseball 9-1

The Florida Stealth line up was just too much for Cupey Baseball Club's pitching to handle, with the Stealth taking home the win 9-1. 

Jordan Alvarez (2018, Undecided, Pembroke Pines, FL) led the charge with a 3-4 day, scoring once and driving in one with two steals. Nicholas Wells (2018, Undecided, Apopka, FL) was 2-3 with three RBI, a run scored, and a stolen base. Jordan Carrion (2019, Middle School, Miami, FL) pitched in a two run double as well.

Ryan Rivera (2018, Undecided, Jensen Beach, FL) earned the win with 1.1 innings of work, hitting 77 mph on the gun with three offspeed offerings. His go to was a 60-64 mph curve with a 68 mph slider and 67 mph change up. Nicholas Pitelli (2019, Middle School, Miami, FL) followed with two hitless innings, striking out three with just one walk allowed. He was 69-75 mph with his fastball while mixing in a 59-62 mph curve well.

Abdiel Torres (2018, Middle School, Morovis, Puerto Rico) was 1-2 for Cupey Baseball, scoring once with two stolen bases. On the mound, Jonathan G Rivera (2018, Middle School, Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico) struck out two in one inning, also allowing a run on one hit and a walk. He hit 77 mph on the gun with his fastball while sitting 75-77 mph.

MCBC Dogs beat Florida River Dawgs.

MCBC Dogs outlast Florida River Dawgs in high scoring affair, 10-9 victory. The teams combined for 21 hits including five extra base hits. Spencer Schwellenbach (Saginaw, Saginaw, MI 2018) and Caleb Jackson (Brother Rice, Bloomfield, MI 2018) were the hot hitter for the MCBC Dogs. Schwellbach went 3-4 for the day with scoring one run and had one RBI. Jackson went 1-3 for the game with scoring two runs and had one RBI. Danny Rodriguez (Sarasota, Sarasota, FL 2019) and Caleb Whitson (Braden River, Brandenton, FL 2019) were the other hot hitters for the Florida River Dawgs. Rodriguez went 2-4 for the game with scoring two runs and had one RBI. Whitson went 2-4 with scoring one run and had two RBIs.

Scott Selleck (Marine City, Marine City, MI 2019) got the win for the MCBC Dogs today. He allowed four runs over four innings of work with striking out two, walked one and gave up eight hits. Michael Dorso (Sarasota, Sarasota, FL 2019) took the lose today for Florida River Dawgs. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked four and struck out five.

Iron Pigs beat Texas Sun Devils.

Iron Pigs offense too much for the Texas Sun Devils in 11-1 rout. Giovanni Diagiacomo (Naples, Naples, FL 2018) was perfect at the plate today going 2-2 for the game. Cameron Pradia (Alfred M. Barbe, Lake Cahrles, FL 2018) was the good hitter for the Texas Sun Devils. Pradia went 1-2 for the game. Iron Pigs as a team had eleven runs with eight hits.

Joshua Kinker (Venice Senior, North Port, FL 2019) had an impressive outing against Texas Sun Devils. He held the Texas Sun Devils hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three. Kyle Machado (Port Charlotte, Port Charlotte, FL 2019) got the win for Iron Pigs. He struck out three, walked two and gave up four hits. Antonio Gauthier (Alfred M. Barbe, Lake Charles, FL 2018) had a short outing, lasting only one inning on the hill for the Texas Sun Devils before being taken out of the game. He surrendered one hit, and four runs.

Nationals two-hit Spikes in 6-0 drubbing

The East Cobb Nationals were dominant on the hill, only surrendering two hits and two walks all game to Texas Spikes for a 6-0 win. 

Jarrett Guest () was the star, throwing 5.1 nearly hittless innings, giving up one hit and two walks with six punch outs. His heat peaked at 71 mph with a 57-63 mph hook and 60 mph mystery pitch. Luke Dabbelt () followed with two scoreless innings of his own, surrendering one hit. Dabbelt was 60-64 mph on the gun for his fastball and 56-58 mph with the curve.

Dabbelt was also 2-4 at the plate with a stolen base, and an RBI, and Guest scored twice after reaching on a walk and single. Isaac Bouton () was also 2-4 with a run scored, RBI, and double. Zachary Tipton () doubled as well and drove in one, and Kyle Reichert () doubled and scored a run. Steven Peterson () and Austin Kirksey () both stole a pair of bases with Peterson reaching on a single and scoring while Kirksey singled, scored once and drove in one as well.

Garrett Arredondo () and Henry Harrison () picked up the only hits for the Spikes, each singling. Drew Madrid () walked, as did Kamal Nader (), and that was it for players that reached base on the Nationals.

Arredondo also threw two hitless innings on the mound, allowing an unearned run on a walk, hit batter and two wild pitches with one strike out. He touched 71 mph with his fastball and also threw a 60-63 mph curve and 61 mph change up. 

Florida Battalion get walk off, 5-4 win

Florida Battalion scored two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to overtake S3 Hustlers by the score of 5-4. 

Kyle Lang (2019, Middle School, New Port Ritchey, FL) had a pair of singles for the Battalion, also walked and drove in one run. Matt Morrill (2018, Middle School, St. Petersburg, FL) was 1-2 and scored twice, was hit by a pitch and stole a base. Leo Passley Jr (2018, Middle School, St. Petersburg, FL) was 1-3, scored one run, swiped a bag, and drove in another while Steven Parker Farris (2018, Middle School, Indian Rocks Beach, FL) walked twice and scored twice.

Morrill picked up the win with 1.2 innings of work on the mound, allowing one unearned run on three walks and two hits with a strike out. His fastball was sitting 69-75 mph with a 62-65 mph curve. Passley Jr also put some time in on the bump, throwing two scoreless innings with two strike outs and just one hit allowed with no free passes. He mixed a 68-73 mph fastball with a 63-68 mph change up and 62 mph hook.

Christian Dixon (2018, Middle School, Nashville, TN) was the offensive star for the Hustlers, knocking a double, working a walk, driving in one and coming around to score twice. Wade Elliot (2019, Middle School, Midland, TX) tripled and walked his two times up, scoring once, and stealing one base. MJ Rodriguez (2020, Middle School, Corpus Christi, TX) also reached both times up, walking and smacking a single with an RBI. 

Both Jon Barrera (2019, Middle School, Corpus Christi, TX) and Hambleton Oliver (2019, Middle School, Corpus Christi, TX) touched 75 mph on the gun but did not fare well in game action. 

8 run 2nd inning launches Team Elite to W

In one of the oddest line scores you will ever see, Team Elite Black scored 12 runs on four hits, beating Indiana Prospects by the score of 12-3.

Team Elite Black worked 15 walks on the day, combining with their four hits to blow out the competition. Charlie Aiken (2019, Middle School, Cumming, GA) had the only extra base hit, knocking a double with two walks, a stolen base, two runs scored and one run driven in on the day. Keith Johnson (2019, Middle School, Buford, GA) walked all three times up to bat, scoring two runs with one run "driven" in. Brandon Blume (2018, Middle School, Buford, GA) walked twice, singled, scored once and picked up an RBI. William Clark III (2019, Middle School, Cumming, GA) and William Haugabook III (2018, Middle School, Athens, GA) had the other two hits, each singles, while Clark also walked and scored twice. Haugabook also walked, knocked one in, and handled all the pitching duties for today. 

He threw all five innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits and four walks with three punch outs, three wild pitches and a hit batter. The heater sat 62-66 mph with a 56-60 mph curve and 59 mph mystery pitch.


Indiana Prospects had as many hits as Team Elite, but nowhere as many baserunners. Greyson Droste (2019, Middle School, Fishers, IN) was 2-2, knockin in two of the three runs for Indiana, and Mason Gillis (2019, Middle School, New Castle, IN) picked up a triple but was stranded. Steven Molinet (2019, Middle School, Booneville, IN) had the other RBI, a single and stolen base.

Droste was the only pitcher to not allow a run, but he also only got one out and walked a batter.



Black Hawks soar to 7-4 win over Red Dragons

A steady offensive attack from the Weston Black Hawks led them to a 7-4 win over Florida Gulf Coast Red Dragons. 

Max Baldaccini (2019, Undecided, Miramar, FL) roped a triple, driving in two and scoring once. Edgar Quintana (2018, Middle School, Hialeah Gardens, FL) doubled in a 2-4 performance, Rolando Leyva (2018, Middle School, Weston, FL) also doubled, worked a walk, scored once, stole a bag, and drove in one. Austin Quinones (2018, Middle School, Naples, FL) was 1-2 with a double, walk, and RBI while Luis Diaz (2018, Middle School, Hialeah, FL) doubled as well, driving in one.

Quinones picked up the win with six strong innings and featured a 63-66 mph fastball. He allowed four hits, two runs (one earned), and he struck out three. A 54-56 mph curve was mixed in as well. 

Mason Russo (2018, Middle School, Cape Coral, FL) and Benjamin Grant (2018, Middle School, Lehigh Acres, FL) had multi-hit games for the Red Dragons, each going 2-3 in the game. Russo doubled, stole a base and knocked in two while Grant doubled as well and scored once. Nicholas Perdue (2019, Undecided, Lehigh Acres, FL) doubled and scored, and Steven Diaz (2018, Middle School, Lehigh Acres, FL) also doubled, scoring once with an RBI. 

Perdue took the loss despite not allowing an earned run, throwing two innings with two hits, three walks, and two unearned runs allowed. He sat 60-66 mph with his fastball. 

Banditos outlast Diamond Jacks 6-4

A huge four-run third inning was crucial in the 6-4 win by Banditos of Austin over Diamond Jacks Super 13.

Rhett Trilcek (2019, Middle School, Hallettsville, TX) doubled for Banditos, driving in one while also reaching on an error. Nick Duran (2018, Undecided, Cleburne, TX) doubled as well, scoring once. Chandler Freeman (2019, Middle School, Liberty Hill, TX) and Blaine Barker (2019, Middle School, Pflugerville, TX) had an RBI a piece and both scored once.

Matthew Castro (2019, Middle School, Corpus Christi, TX) was effectively wild, not allowing a hit in three innings, but walked five and struck out three. Jacob Ledesma (2018, Middle School, Austin, TX) was nails out of the pen, striking out two in 1.1 innings. 

Only two batters actually had base hits for the Diamond Jacks, Tyler Lehman (2019, Middle School, Robbinsville, NJ) and Andrew Tuozzolo (2019, Middle School, Pittstown, NJ), but seven hitters reached via walks. Lehman drove in one and scored once, Alexander Antigua (2019, Middle School, North Brunswick, NJ) had a sac fly, and Jack Wilson (2019, Middle School, Flemington, NJ) swiped two bases and scored after being walked.

Felix Diaz (2019, Middle School, North Brunswick, NJ) threw three innings, striking out four while allowing an unearned run on one hit and three walks. 

Rawlings Arkansas Prospects wins.

Rawlings Arkansas Prospects tops Banditos - TX in back-and-forth affair, 4-3 victory. Thomas Bale (Parkers Chapel, El Dorado, AR 2019) and Jordan Korzen (Vilonia, Cabot, AR 2018) were the hot hitters for the Rawlings Arkansas Prospects. Bale went 1-2 for the day and scored one run. Clayton went 1-2 for the day and scored one run. Rejinald Cubillo (Kleins Collins, Springs, TX 2019) and Seth Cosme (Angleton, Houston, TX 2019) were the other hot hitter for the Banditos - TX. Cubillo went 2-3 for the day and scored one run. Cosme went 2-3 for the day and had one RBI.

Cody Mitchell (Vilonia, Vilonia, AR 2018) was the ace pitcher today for the Rawlings Arkansas Prospects. He tossed 3.2 innings worth while giving up three hits, two runs, five walks, and striking out three. Logan Kilpatrick (Tomball Memorial, Tomball, TX 2019) was the other pitcher for Banditos - TX. He tossed tossed two innings while giving up four hits, three runs, one walk, and striking out one.

Yard Dawgs Cruise to 13-3 Win

The Colorado Yard Dawgs put on an offensive display with 15 team hits on the way to a 13-3 victory over the South Louisiana Select in five innings. Nine players registered at least one hit for the Yard Dawgs with six players having a multi-base hit. Bryce Matthews (2019, Chaparral HS, CO), Brodie Blackford (2020, Pueblo West HS, CO), and McKay Barney (2019, Mountain View HS, AZ) powered the Yard Dawgs' offense with Matthews going 2-3 at the plate and picked up a game-high four RBIs, a triple, and a run scored. Blackford added a 2-3 game with three RBIs off two doubles and Barney chipped in a 3-4 game in the batter's box with an RBI, a double, a stolen base and three runs scored. 

Ethan Zemla (2019, Regis Jesuit HS, CO) took home the win for the Yard Dawgs for two innings on the mound to start out the game. Zemla allowed one hit and two runs, one earned, while walking one and striking out two.

Zachary Guidry (2019, Covenant Christian Academy, LA) is credited with the loss for the Select for one inning of relief work, allowing five hits and four runs, all earned, while walking and striking out none. 

Tigers Roll to 9-1 Victory

The Dallas Tigers-Hernandez scored early and often on the way to a 9-1 rout of the IBAHS Knights in five innings. The Tigers needed only six hits to get their nine runs and seven RBIs and got the job done defensively, picking up five double plays, and were led offensively by Preston King (2019, Argyle HS, TX). King went a perfect 2-2 at the plate and picked up two RBIs and a game-high three runs scored to go with his double. Austin King (2019, Argyle HS, TX) chipped in a 2-3 game at the plate with two RBIs, a triple and a run scored.

Garrett Reuben (2019, Jesuit College Prep, TX) picked up the win for the Tigers for his one scoreless inning on the mound, allowing one hit while walking none and striking out one. Reuben showed mound presence and sound mechanics with a fastball averaging 72 mph and topping out at 74 mph. 

Jeremey Amaro (2018, International Baseball Academy, PR) tossed four innings for the Knights and allowed five hits and five runs, two earned, while walking two and striking out two in relief of losing pitcher Raul Fontanez (2018, International Baseball Academy, PR). Fontanez started the game on the mound and lasted one inning, allowing one hit and four runs, two earned, while walking three and striking out one. 

Drillers Roll to 10-1 Victory

The Tidewater Drillers Blue weren't the first on the scoreboard, but powered their way to a 10-1 victory over the Texas Hardball White behind the strength of their bats. Nine batters knocked in ten team hits for the Drillers and were led on offense by Waring Garber (2018, Turner Ashby HS, VA) and David Byler (2019, Northfolk Academy, VA). Garber had a perfect 1-1 game at the plate and picked up an RBI, two walks and two runs scored with Byler adding a 1-2 game with a run scored and a game-high two RBIs. 

Byler also had a standout game on the mound for the Drillers, tossing a no-hitter for five innings. Byler allowed one unearned run and walking three with three strikeouts. 

Jared Younce (2019, Stony Point HS, TX) took the loss for Hardball for his two and a third innings on the mound and allowed five hits and four runs, two earned, while walking four and striking out one. 

Black Hawks Rally, Win 6-5

The Weston Black Hawks rallied back after falling down one run in the top of the fifth inning, scoring two runs in the bottom of the fifth to take a 6-5 victory over the Banditos of Austin in six innings. The Banditos did well on the scoreboard despite only having one hit over the course of the game, picking up seven walks, two hit-by-pitches, and reaching base on error twice. The Black Hawks needed only four hits to score their six runs and were powered on offense by Santiago Garavito (2018, American Heritage HS, FL). Garavito went a perfect 2-2 at the plate and picked up two RBIs with Luis Diaz (2018, Hialeah Senior HS, FL) chipping in a 1-2 game at the plate with a game-high three RBIs. Chandler Freeman (2019, Liberty Hill HS, TX) picked up the only hit for the Banditos, going 1-3 with two RBIs.

East Cobb Astros beat Naples Naturals.

East Cobb Astros rolled over Naples Naturals 14-0 victory on Friday after a nine-run rally in the second inning. Chayce Bryant (South Gwinnett, Snellville, GA 2018) racked up four RBIs on two hits for the East Cobb Astros. Cyree Broughton (Eagle's Landing Christian Acad, Stockridge, GA 2019) was also hot for the East Cobb Astros. Naples Naturals had a couple of good hitters for the game. Hunter Scalan (Undecided, Naples, FL 2018) went 1-2 and Blake Boland (Undecided, Naples, FL 2018) went 1-2 for the day. East Cobb Astros as a team had twelve hits with fourteen runs.

Caleb Reis (Lassiter, Marrietta, GA 2019) got it done on the hill today to get the victory. He pitched two shutout innings with striking out four, walked three and surrendered two hits. Drake Dobyanski (Undecided, Naples, FL 2018) took the lose today for the Naples Naturals. He allowed eight runs in one inning, walked one and struck out one. Reis fastball range for the day was 74-77 mph. He also has good arm action with a loose arm and pitches downhill.

Mid-Inning Surge Powers D1 Renegades

D1 Renegades scored eight runs in the middle innings, taking an 8-5 victory over Marucci Bulls.

Garrett Koch (2019, Warren Hills HS, NJ) led the way with two hits, three runs batted in, and two runs scored for the Renegades. Charlie Eberle (2019, Middle School, NJ) and George Eberle (2019, Middle School, NJ) each added two runs batted in, while Athan Magalio (2019, Middle School, NJ) and Colin McLaughlin (2018, North Hunterdon HS, NJ) supplied two runs a piece.

Michael Pierce (2019, North Hunterdon HS, NJ) earned the win for the Renegades, allowing one hit over two innings. Pierce’s fastball topped out at 67 mph.

Marucci runs were driven in by Aaron Wisnieski (2018, Boling HS, TX), Blake Mullen (2019, Cypress Falls HS, TX), and Kevin Ortiz (2019, William B. Travis HS, TX). Ortiz and Juan Sosa (2019, Carroll HS, TX) proved the team’s two hits.

Alex Cintron Baseball Tops CT Wolfpack

Alex Cintron Baseball needed just four hits to top Connecticut Wolfpack, 6-3, on Friday.

Jordan Morris (2019, Bellaire HS, TX) and Genaro Cortez (2018, Chavez HS, TX) each drove in two runs for Cintron, while Dylan Bonnain (2019, Tomball HS, TX) recorded two runs and two hits.The other two runs were batted in by Bonnain and Christopher Rojas (2018, Cypress Falls HS, TX).

Jonas Traweek (2018, Magnolia West HS, TX) earned the win over five innings, allowing one earned run on five hits. He struck out three hitters. Trey Cline (2018, Cypress Falls HS, TX) and Nathan Silva (2019, Seven Lakes HS, TX) each tossed a scoreless inning, and Silva earned the save. Traweek’s fastball peaked at 69 mph, Cline’s fastball topped out at 71 mph, and Silva’s best fastball was clocked in at 64 mph.

The Wolfpack received two hits from Chris Borter (2019, Fairfield Ludlowe HS, CT), who also scored a run. The other two runs were scored by Ian Blatchford (2018, Fairfield College Preparatory HS, CT) and Nick Larusso (2018, Masuk HS, CT).

Blatchford pitched well for the Wolfpack, allowing one run on one hit over 3.2 innings, striking out two with a fastball that reached 71 mph.

DeLaCerda Fires No-Hitter

Jacob DeLaCerda (2018, Middle School, TX) tossed a four-inning no hitter to lead Banditos Black to a 14-0 victory over Collier Tigers on Friday.

DeLaCerda struck out seven and walked four hitters in his four innings, and tossed 41 of his 70 pitched for strikes. DeLaCerda's fastball topped out at 75 mph in his no-hitter.

Greyson Kash (2018, Hardin-Jefferson HS, TX) led the offensive onslaught for the Banditos, driving in three runs. Sanson Faltine III (2019, William B. Travis HS, TX) and Kameron Johnson (2018, Dickinson HS, TX) each had two RBIs, and Justin Wishkoski (2019, Middle School, TX) scored three runs. Adding two runs a piece were Cash Rugely (2018, Cedar Ridge HS, TX) and Colton Debowski (2018, Conroe HS, TX).

Stephen Barnicoat (2020, Gulf Coast HS, FL) reached base twice via walks for the Tigers.

Stingers Rally for 7-2 Win

Orlando Stingers South rallied with seven runs in the final two innings, topping Team Elite South Forsyth, 7-2, on Friday.

Cam Hoines (2018, Bishop Verot HS, FL) drove in two Stingers runs, and added two hits. Tyler Prell (2018, Riverdale HS, FL) supplied another two hits, and Brendon McNabb (2018, Riverdale HS, FL) and Jose Rodriguez (2018, Ida Baker HS, FL) scored two runs a piece.

Peyton Palmer (2018, Ida Baker HS, FL) was awarded with the win for his 4.2 innings of work. Palmer allowed no earned runs on five hits, and struck out six hitters. Nelson Smith (2019, Lehigh Acres, FL) also tossed 2.1 scoreless innings, surrendering just two hits. Palmer's fastball topped out at 68 mph, and Smith's fastball peaked at 67 mph. 

Jacob Epps (2018, Oconee County HS, GA) had the lone RBI for Team Elite South, while Hunter Hale (2018, Walnut Grove HS, GA) and Bradley Prince, Jr. (2018, South Forsyth HS, GA) scored the runs. Hale, Prince, and Carter Mullikin (2018, North Forsyth HS, GA) each clubbed doubles in the losing effort. 

Keller Dannenmiller (2018, South Forsyth HS, GA) pitched well in his start, allowing just one run on three hits over five innings. Dannenmiller displayed a 71 mph peak fastball.
