Caleb Sanders (2022 OF, Eastpointe, MI) was the big hitter today both in batting practice and in the games.  He consistently got the ball in the air with carry in BP using a short and quick swing with lift out front and then mashed an absolute bomb in the games with the same swing approach.

Seth Jackson (2023 SS, Stedman, NC) is another hitter who duplicated his swing approach and bat speed in both BP and in the games.  His swing is a bit timing intensive but he repeats it well and the ball really explodes off the barrel to the middle of the field.

Eric Anton (2022 1B, Macomb, MI) is a strong young right handed hitter who swings hard with some strength at contact and repeats his mechanics well.  Hitters who have intent in their swings hit the ball harder.

Zade Fusselman (2022 OF, Canal Winchester, OH) has a calm and simple approach at the plate which gives him lots of consistency.  He hits behind the ball well with plenty of bat speed and got nice carry gap to gap.

Andrew Hill (2023 OF, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) is a young left handed hitter who really uses his lower half well to help generate bat speed.  He's already strong enough to generate some barrel whip and bat speed.

Nathaniel Jensen (2024 SS, Virginia Beach, VA) stands out for a freshman with his strong 6-1/180 build and his present bat speed.  His swing isn't consistent yet but he has lots of the elements of a future high level hitter.

David Cox (2024 SS, Oak Brook, IL) is another freshman with impressive present strength, bat speed and build (6-3/190).  He has nice rhythm to his swing and lots of leverage at contact.

Grant Dalton (2022 OF, Bedford, IN) is one of those left-handed hitters who are smooth and fluid in their swing mechanics and just lack some real strength before they are really driving the ball hard.

Joseph Schade (2022 LHP, Huron, OH) took a nice round of batting practice, using the strength in his 6-3/225 build and quick and accurate hands to consistently drive line drives around the field from the left side.

Nathaniel Jensen (2024 SS, Virginia Beach, VA) Throws barrel head to contact while generating solid whip through extension. Singled sharply to pull side in his second at bat of the game. 

Andrew Hill (2023 OF, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) Displayed present bat speed through the zone with the ability to generate consistent loud contact. Tripled to the right center field gap in game action. Also impressed on the mound showing good command for his fastball in the low 80's, topped at 82 mph. Also effectively mixed an 11/5 breaking ball with later depth in the upper 60's.

Brennan Hill (2024 LHP, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) Showed a balanced approach at the plate with good feel for the barrel. Controls bat head to all parts of the zone. Singled to the middle of the field in his first at bat of the game.

Gavin Moczydlowsky (2023 RHP, New Boston, MI) Utilized a clean, balanced delivery while releasing from a three-quarters slot. Fastball came out of hand cleanly producing some downhill tilt in the mid 80's, topped at 87 mph. Curveball generated tight spin with late hard depth in the low 70's. Consistently worked ahead of hitters and induced weaker contact. 

Cannon Kawadri (2023 C, Grosse Ile, MI) Stays behind the baseball well at contact while utilizing a line drive approach. Showed the barrel control to work to all fields with ease. Singled to right field going with a pitch located outer half of the plate. 

Zade Fusselman (2022 OF, Canal Winchester, OH) Showed a high energy delivery while on the mound. Fastball flashed some life out of hand with occasional heavy run in the low to mid 80's, topped at 84 mph. Curveball flashed very tight spin with late, hard depth to the bottom of the zone in the upper 60's. Curveball was swing and miss pitch when locating it to the bottom of the zone.

Ethan Brickner (2022 1B, Lambertville, MI) Utilized a naturally lifted barrel plane that produced good leverage at contact. Consistently created hard, loud contact each at bat. Line out sharply to right field in his first at bat and followed up with a hard hit single to left field later in the game. 

Seth Jackson (2023 SS, Stedman, NC) The 2023 grad showed a very mature approach at the plate with present bat speed and strength. Consistently attack the baseball with intent while driving the ball with authority. Hammered two doubles in game action to the the middle of the field and opposite field gap.

Cannon Kawadri (2023 C, Grosse Ile, MI) Employed a simple, repeatable line drive barrel plane through extension. Keeps hands inside the baseball well while showing good feel for the barrel.

Caleb Sanders (2022 OF, Eastpointe, MI) Displayed excellent bat speed with very good barrel whip through extension. Created very loud contact when squared. Hammered a home run in his first at-bat of the game. 

Kyle Keener (2022 RHP, Grand Blanc, MI) Showed a clean arm action at release creating some natural run to arm side with a fastball that toped at 83 mph. Looked to work ahead of hitters with fastball. Flashed a slider that had 9/5 shape with solid speed and good sweep to glove side in the low 70's.

Carson Van Haaren (2024 RHP, Lexington, KY) Utilized a smooth, easy delivery. Fastball came out of hand cleanly producing good life through the zone in the upper 70's to low 80's, topped at 81 mph. Consistently located fastball to the bottom quadrants of the one and worked ahead of hitters. Slider flashed tight spin with late tilt to glove side in the low 70's.

Zade Fusselman (2022 OF, Canal Winchester, OH) The 2022 grad utilized a smooth, naturally lifted barrel plane through extension. Ball jumped off barrel with authority when squared. Doubled to deep left center field in his first at bat of the game.

Andrew Hill (2023 OF, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) Utilized a balanced approach with a line drive barrel plane through extension. Throws hands to contact well and picked up a sharp single in game action. 

Brennan Hill (2024 LHP, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) Released from a lower three-quarters slot showing good feel to glove side up to 81 mph. Curveball generated tight spin out of hand with good depth to the bottom of the low in the low 60's. Consistently challenged hitters and induced weak contact. Was also very impressive at the plate showing good balance with present strength at contact. Picked up two hits in game action including a double to left field. 

Ryan Adolfs (2021 RHP, Lake Orion, MI) Showed good feel for the bottom of the zone while releasing from a compact arm slot, topped at 82 mph. Consistently landed breaking ball for strikes effectively keeping hitters off balance.

Calbin Gonzalez (2023 RHP, Taylor, MI) Fastball jumped out of hand well generating some natural run to arm side in the low 80's, topped at 83 mph. Also displayed plus feel for an 11/5 breaking ball that produced later depth in the mid 60's. Showed confidence in breaking ball with the ability to throw in both positive and negative counts. 

Gannon Wentz (2022 C, Worthington, OH) Utilized a compact, direct hand path to contact with a linear barrel plane. Stays balanced throughout swing and picked up a sharp single to left field in game action.
