3-Red v. 4-Black Game Highlights

8/2/2026

Kade Wilkins (’29, Gilbert, AZ) starts off the game with a fastball up to 82mph. Mixes in a curveball in the low-70’s with tight and late break. At the plate, he picked up a late game single up the middle.

 

Jaxon Clubb (’28, Peoria, AZ) strikes out 6 batters while flashing a solid 3 pitch mix through his 2 inning outing. FB is up to 85mph paired with a curveball in the high-60’s and a changeup with some arm-side run. Tall frame with a fluid arm path, keeps hitters off balance with effective pitch sequencing.

 

Reed Ross (’27, Paradise Valley, AZ) crushes a no doubt solo home-run over the LF fence. Strong frame and fires each swing with his lower body to create consistent pull-side pop. Drives a double to the CF wall later in the game, finishes the game with 4 RBIs.

 

Jesus Flores (’27, El Paso, TX) works through a good at-bat and rips a loud triple into the RC gap. Good approach at the plate using all fields.

 

Mateo Escontrias (’28, Glendale, AZ) shoots a ball into the six-hole to pick up an RBI. Knocks in another run later in the game with a line-drive double down the line. On the mound, he flashed a fastball with some ride up to 84mph and found the zone often with multiple pitches.

 

James Henry (’27, Chandler, AZ) lets the barrel out and connects for an opposite field base hit. Loose operation with middle-away approach.

 

Mason Madrid (’28, Queen Creek, AZ) drives two low line-drives back up the middle to make it a multi-hit game.

 

Ethan Leclerc (’29, Albuquerque, NM) is on-time and hammers a FB into the six-hole to start the inning. 

 

Josiah Burge (’27, Peoria, AZ) flashes a fastball up to 85mph paired with a curveball. Smooth down the mound with repeatable actions.

 

Camden Ogborne (’27, Phoenix, AZ) takes a FB to the RC gap for a double. Ready to hit and sees the ball well in this 3 for 3 game.

Quinn Sullivan (2027, Phoenix, AZ) works smoothly through his outing, crafty lefty arm with an effective three pitch mix. Fastball up to 82 mph with a slider up to 73 mph with late break. Fills up the zone to generate quick outs and maintains a consistent delivery.

 

Triton Ayala (2027, Peoria, AZ) knocks a single back up the middle. Loose swing, stays balanced and heads-up on the base paths. Grabs a second hit on the day with a hard ball on the ground to the pull side.

 

Cooper Briscoe (2029, Queen Creek, AZ) lets a fastball travel and crushes it back up the middle for a standup triple. Swings with intent, big frame providing some natural pop.

 

Jamie Justice (2029, Las Vegas, NV) sends a line drive hard to the opposite field gap for an in-the-park home run. Uses the whole field and gets extension with a leveled swing. Picks up an RBI knock on the ground later in the game.

 

Jayden Dodd (2027, Goodyear, AZ) fills up the zone through 2 innings. Picks up 4 strikeouts with a fastball up to 80 mph and a curveball in the high-60’s.

 

Adrian D’Anna (2027, Las Vegas, NV) crushes a solo home-run over the left field wall to extend the lead for 2-White. Strong frame and generates good lift when on-time for the fastball, looking to do damage. 

 

Justin Phillips (2028, Chandler, AZ) connects for a loud double into the RC gap. The catcher moves well in the box and behind the plate. Balanced lower body throughout his swing.

 

Colt Dreier (2029, Phoenix, AZ) finds a hole to the opposite field for a base-hit. Lean frame and turns the barrel well.

3-Red vs 4-Black Game Highlights

8/1/2026

Dash Cooper (2028 RHP, Chandler, AZ) got the start on the mound for 4-Black, working three innings, struck out four and ran the fastball up to 88.  Keeps hitter off balance, sequencing pitches and staying around the zone.  Loose, live arm with strength in the lower half.  Added a base hit later in the game.

Jesus Flores (2027 SS, El Paso, TX) caught a barrel in the first inning to go through the six hole and drive in a run. Intent in the swing with barrel control to do some damage to the pull side.  

Mason Madrid (2028 OF, Queen Creek, AZ) barreled up a ball in the second back up the middle for a base knock.  Nice piece, showing feel for the barrel and staying connected in the swing that showed intent.  

Kayden Middleton Ortiz (2027 OF, Phoenix, AZ) went to the pull side on a line in the second for a knock.  Level path through with solid extension out front and rolling the top hand hard to get 4-Black threatening.

Jaxon Clubb (2028 OF, Peoria, AZ) scorched a ball to the wall in the left-center in the 4th for an easy triple.  Showed good speed around the bases.  

Camden Ogborne (2027 RHP, Phoenix, AZ) put together a solid outing of the bullpen for 3-Red, working three-innings without allowing a run and struck out four.  Fastball was up to 84 and mixed in a mid-60's breaking ball that kept hitters guessing. 

James Henry (2027 1B, Chandler, AZ) hammered a ball into the opposite field corner for a leadoff double in the fifth for 3-Red.  Solid piece of hitting, allowing the ball to get deep and shoot it the other way.  

Reed Ross (2027 C, Paradise Valley, AZ) had one of the harder hit balls in the sixth, going right back up the middle on a line to set the table for 3-Red.  

Hudson Paul (2029 SS, Scottsdale, AZ) turned on one in the sixth to go into the corner to the pull side for a leadoff double.  

Kade Wilkins (2029 C, Gilbert, AZ) grinded for 10-innings behind the plate in the heat, handling the staff well.  Showed good feet, willing blocker and made some quality throws.

Cooper Briscoe (2029 RHP, Queen Creek, AZ) Took a solid 2-strike approach and deposited a soft line-drive base hit into LCF.  Added a hard hit line drive single to the backside (RF). 2-for-3 at the plate, 3-scoreless innings on the bump with 4 strikeouts

Peyton Burgess (2028 C, Goodyear, AZ) Reached out with 2-strikes and hit a soft line drive into RCF for a knock

Justin Phillips (2028 C, Chandler, AZ) Ambushed a FB offering and squared one up for a hard hit line drive base hit over the SS head for a base hit. Added a loud line drive triple into the RCF gap. Plus runner 

Carter Wacker (2027 C, Cottonwood, AZ) Squared up a FB offering and drove one into RCF for a hard hit double. Pulled his hands in and hooked a ground ball down the RF line for a base hit. 

Andrew Palmer (2027 1B, Goodyear, AZ) Ambushed a FB offering and drove a long fly ball with carry to the backside, over the left fielders heads for a stand up double. Added a hard hit ground ball singe through the 4-hole.

Frank Dutchover-Whitson (2028 2B, Mesa, AZ) Legged out a single on a ground ball to the short stop. Plus runner

Connor Gamboa (2029 OF, Chandler, AZ) Squared up a FB and hit a line drive base hit to left field. 

Bryant Provencio (2028 SS, Mesa, AZ) Jumped on a fastball and pounded a line drive into the LCF gap for a 2 RBI stand up double.  

Colt Dreier (2029 3B, Phoenix, AZ) Ambushed a FB offering, pulled his hands in and barreled one up for a line drive double down the left field line 

Jamie Justice (2029 OF, Las Vegas, NV) Reached out deposited a soft line drive single to the backside LCG gap. 

Batting Practice Highlights

7/31/2026

Justin Phillips (2028, Chandler, AZ) was consistently on the barrel, showing easy bat speed and effortless power. The strength is real, and the home run power showed up.

Bryant Provencio (2028, Mesa, AZ) brought some serious thump to BP, launching an opposite-field bomb and showing legit power every swing. Creates easy leverage and looked to do damage.

Carter Wacker (2027, Cottonwood, AZ) has a smooth and easy left-handed swing. He was on the screws consistently and flashed legit pull-side power.

Cristian Morgan (2026, Maricopa, AZ) was putting on a show, peppering balls off the wall and showing the ability to lift and strength from the right side. The bat speed is there and the strength is loud.

Peyton Burgess (2028, Goodyear, AZ) made it look easy. Low-effort swing, loud results, with line drives carrying all over the yard and plenty of home run power from the left side.

Jaxon Clubb (2028, Peoria, AZ) let the bat eat during BP, showing quick hands and present pull-side impact. Strong frame, easy bat speed, and the ball jumped off the bat.

Mateo Escontrias (2028, Glendale, AZ) flashed real bat speed and strength, line drives when synced up. Plenty of raw tools and impact potential.

Mason Madrid (2028,Queen Creek, AZ) stacked together quality swings all round, staying connected and drove balls to the pull side. Quick hands and good direction.

John Nyman (2028, Vail, AZ) kept things simple and effective, consistently finding the barrel with a direct swing and line-drive approach. Smooth swing with good extension.

Reed Ross (2028, Paradise Valley, AZ) flat-out stole the show. Missile after missile, including one over the fence and another that nearly took out the office. Easily one of the loudest BP rounds of the day.

Drew Strader (2028, Dewey, AZ)  showcased an athletic swing with lift to the pull-side when he is synced and balanced at contact. He showed bat speed with intent to do damage to the gaps. 

Reid Tworek (2027, Phoenix, AZ) showed an aggressive, intentful swing with some real pull-side thump. Stayed on time and flashed plenty of impact when he got the barrel out front.

Jesus Flores (2027, El Paso, TX) put on a show, showing tons of power, bat speed, and baseballs were getting crushed, including one that smoked the golf cart. Comfort in the box with rhythm to the swing.

Hudson Paul (2029, Scottsdale, AZ) showed quick hands and a compact swing that produced loud gap contact. The strength is already emerging, and there's plenty more power coming as the frame fills out.

Kade Wilkins (2029, Gilbert, AZ) showed plenty of strength in the frame with bat speed through the zone. A middle-of-the-order stick with emerging power, feel for the barrel, and a pull-side approach.

 

Brady Winebrenner (2027, Gilbert, AZ) impresses with a projectable frame, simple, level, and direct path to impact. Showed raw strength, intent in the swing, a quick trigger, and feel for consistent damage on the barrel.
