Jake Davis (2031 3B, Flowery Branch, GA) had a loud at bat in the first inning, lanching one deep to center for an RBI double. Davis has a simple operation at the plate with solid direction within the swing working to the middle of the field. He also later doubled into the LCF gap in the fourth.
Griffin Jammes (2030 SS, Senoia, GA) had a nice at bat here in the second, roping one down the line in left for a double. The swing works well to the pull side for some strength when out front. Jammes had another loud barrel in the sixth, sending one deep to center for another double.
Joseph Giulietti (2031 3B, Irmo, SC) had an impressive swing in the third, hammering one high and deep to left for a double. Giulietti has solid impact to the baseball out front, and was able to show that early in this one. He also hammered one into left center for a double later in the game.
Bentlee Hogan (2031 C, Commerce, GA) barreled one in the third, sending it into the gap for a double. Hogan has a strong frame with plenty of strength to impact the baseball, and he showcased that with this swing.
Nolan Gary (2030 SS, Columbia, SC) had one of the loudest moments of the day in the fourth, launching one into the trees in left field for a homer. Gary has impressed throughout the day with the tools, and did a nice job keeping that going in game. Gary also ran the fastball up to 81 on the mound.
Cody Tompkins (2030 OF, Knoxville, TN) had a nice swing in the fifth, sending one into the right center field gap for an inside the park homer. The swing works well into both gaps with feel for the barrel going oppo.
Carter Koontz (2030 3B, Greer, SC) hammered one deep to left for an RBI double. The swing works best to the pull side with some strength, and he turns on the inside pitch well.
Ezra Lindley (2031 1B, Douglasville, GA) had a solid swing late in this one, shooting one the other way for a double. Lindley has a simple operation at the plate with feel for the outside pitch, and he does a nice job throwing the hands that way.
Cason Phillips (2030 2B, Mansfield, GA) had a nice swing late in this one, barreling it deep to left for a double. The swing works with solid feel to the barrel when turning on the baseball, and he showed off the strength a bit here.
