3-Red vs 4-White Game Highlights

8/2/2026

Geovani Wade (2028 RHP, Houston, TX) with a good piece of hitting to get the inning started. Kept his barrel in the zone long enough to collect a knock back up the middle. Strong hands working out front well.

Koen Davis (2029 OF, Brazoria, TX) destroyed a ball into the opposite field gap for a stand-up triple. Really smooth left-handed stroke lets the ball travel and works well gap-to-gap. Does a good job of staying in his lower half and getting his arms extended on the outer half.

Mason Conner (2029 SS, Palestine, TX) rocketed a ball back up the middle for a base hit, not wasting any time in the box. Gets the bat head in the zone with good barrel speed.

Cash Wilson (2027 OF, Katy, TX) got every stitch of a middle middle heater and put it halfway up the light pole for a solo bomb. Hunted a fastball in a good spot to hit and turned on it. Displayed a good feel to lift the ball naturally to the pull side.

Landon Lauve (2028 SS, Tomball, TX) has been putting together a fine day at the dish, hitting two heaters on the screws for a pair of knocks. Has good direction with his swing and is good at hunting the fastball.

Luke Shepherd (2029 OF, Pearland, TX) has had a good showing today, knocking a single back up the middle here. Physical backstop that can use his lower half well and can be a tough out at the plate.

Jackson Graham (2028 1B, Conroe, TX) destroyed a ball here, burning the center fielder for a loud double. Has a really quick barrel and has been staying inside of the baseball well. Good frame at 6-foot-2, showing his impact with a deep drive to the wall.

3-Red vs. 4-White Game Highlights

8/1/2026

Geovani Wade (2028 RHP, Houston, TX) got the start in this one for the white squad, and ran the fastball up to 83. The fastball has solid life to it at the top of the zone with a bit of run. The delivery works athletically down the slope with a loose arm action. Wade works out of an abbreviated windup, and works well over the front side on both the fastball and the breaker. The breaking ball works with some depth right around 70.

Brenson Bacon (2028 RHP, Frankston, TX) had a solid first inning in his start for the red team, working right around 80-82 with the fastball and commanding it well. Bacon works the fastball in on the hands well, and he forces weak contact into the ground. Bacon also mixed in a bigger breaking ball in the mid 60s with swing and miss qualities and depth.

Luis Montoya (2026 2B, Humble, TX) made an incredible play in the top of the fourth, sliding in the hole on a back hand grounder and getting up quick for the throw. Montoya has some bounce to the feet with an athletic profile, and the glove has impressed throughout the weekend.

Garrett Wolford (2027 LHP, Spring, TX) had a solid showing on the mound in the top of the fourth inning, working in the 80-83 range with the fastball and striking out two. Wolford has some run to the fastball from the left handed side. He also mixed in both a breaking ball and a changeup, with the breaking ball in the mid 60s with depth and the changeup around the upper 60s with arm side fade.

Legend Ellis (2027 SS, Anna, TX) had an impressive swing here in the top of the sixth, burning the left fielder for a long double. Ellis has an athletic profile with feel for the barrel out front, and he turned on the inside pitch well. Most of the impact to the swing comes to the pull side, but the hands work well through the middle also.

Luke Shepherd (2029 OF, Pearland, TX) had a nice swing late in the game, smoking one into left for a double. The left handed swing has a nice whole-field approach with good hands working inside and through the baseball, and some solid feel for the barrel.

Batting Practice Highlights

8/1/2026

Legend Ellis (2027 SS, Anna, TX) was on the barrel consistently throughout his round of batting practice. The swing works with quick hands, and Ellis showed off the ability to work to all fields.

Landon Lauve (2028 SS, Tomball, TX) had a good round during his batting practice, working into the gaps consistently. The swing works with quick hands, and the power should continue to develop with his lanky frame.

Luke Shepherd (2029 OF, Pearland, TX) showed off the pull side strength a bit during his round, hitting one off the wall early in the round. The swing has a fluid barrel path with most of the impact coming to the pull side.

Jason Steele (2027 SS, Driftwood, TX) had a nice round of batting practice, working on the barrel to the pull side consistently. The swing has solid bat speed with a feel for the barrel and a fluid path.

Jackson Graham (2028 1B, Conroe, TX) showed some solid strength in his round of BP, working into the gaps during the round. The swing works with solid direction to it, and the strength shows to all fields.

Koen Davis (2029 OF, Brazoria, TX) was on the barrel during his round of BP, working with a smooth lefty swing and a feel for the barrel. The power also projects well with added strength in the future.

Gary Pearce (2027 C, Porter, TX) was all over the barrel throughout his round of BP, working through the middle of the field consistently. The swing works with a direct path to the baseball, and he extends through it well.

Cash Wilson (2027 OF, Katy, TX) had a nice showing during his batting practice, working to all fields on the barrel. Wilson works with some strength to the hands, and was able to show off the strength into the gaps.
