2024 14U Northwest All-State Games (Invite Only) (08/24/2024 - 08/25/2024)

Maroon vs. White Game Highlights >>

8/25/2024 9:43:40 PM

Tucker Koerick (2027 3B, Seattle, WA) found two quality opposite field barrels during his game. Shows a balanced LH stroke where he turns the barrel on a clean path with some good length.

Evan Walker (2028 SS, Lake Tapps, WA) collected two hits this game, the better being a hard LD shot into left where he was a bit out front but showed good adjustability and length in the bat path.

Nolan Barrett (2028 1B, Seattle, WA) was one of the better two-way performers this game. He had himself a loud opposite field line drive into right and also threw a shutout inning on the mound. Showed a balanced/low-effort operation that ran the FB up to 80 while mixing in a depthy CH and a developing SL.

Casey French (2028 RHP, Pasco, WA) was another two-way standout for Team White. Collected three hits with his best being a hard line shot into left. On the mound, he threw two shutout innings where he struck out two. Pounded the strike-zone with his FB that was up to 81. Mixed in a quality SL at 72-75.

Colton Hardgrove (2028 RHP, West Richland, WA) had himself an inside-the-park HR where he sent an outside FB into the RC gap on a line and showed off his speed/athleticism in getting around the bases.

Hoss Seitz (2028 SS, Maple Valley, WA) had a quality pullside barrel. Simple swing operation where the barrel gets thrown on a flatter path with a shorter finish.

Mitchell Yoshinaka (2028 OF, Portland, OR) got off one of the better swings of the day where he drove a fastball on a line into the RC gap for a triple. Gets the barrel on-plane early and stays through it well with a high barrel finish.

Mac Carlson (2028 SS, Cashmere, WA) had multiple opposite field barrels this game. It's a rhythmic LH stroke with a swing that is able to catch balls deep and still drive them the other way.

Brayden Greenberg (2028 SS, Kirkland, WA) had himself a quality opposite field line drive into the right center gap for a double. Tips the barrel a bit but he turns it back on-plane with some quickness.

Elijah Porter (2028 C, Meridian, ID) threw a quick shutout inning where he pounded the strike-zone at a high rate (81%). Worked fast and challenged hitters with his upper 70s FB (T78). Mixed in a developing low 60s CB and CH.

Ryker Combs (2028 RHP, Redmond, OR) struck out four in his two innings of work. Keeps it more compact in the back with some quality armspeed to a H 3/4 slot. Ran the FB up to 80 and showed good feel for an upper 60s SL.

O'Shea Jones (2028, OF, Graham, WA) didn't fill up the box score but found in three of his five at bats showing a simple/compact stroke. Also jumped on the mound and threw a shutout inning where he struck out two.

Liam Epperson (2028 MIF, Tacoma, WA) might have had the play of the weekend in the 2nd inning for 7-Royal, ranging to his right and making a diving catch to save sure two-bagger.

Eli Allen (2028 RHP, Port Townsend, WA) picked up the first hit of the day for 6-Orange, going pull side on a line for a base knock in the fifth inning.  Took the mound, going two innings, allowing 2 hits and one run while striking out three.

Liam Ferguson (2028 1B, Bonney Lake, WA) recored the first extra base hit of the game in the fifth inning, going pull side down the line into the corner for a stand up double for 6-Orange.
