Liam Ferguson is a 2028 1B/RHP with a durable 5-11 195 lb. frame from Bonney Lake, WA who attends Sumner HS. Started off the event clocking a 7.48 60-yard dash. A primary first baseman, secondary pitcher. At 1B, he had a solid defensive round. Fielded everything clean and showed solid actions with his glovework. Arm showed accuracy on double plays and throws across. At the plate, sits in a relaxed hands with real low hanging hands over home plate. Smaller leg lift trigger that syncs with hands moving back. Swings it on a slight uphill where he flashed quality barrel quickness. Found multiple line drive barrels through the middle of the field and showed over the fence power potential. On the mound, shows a balanced and repeatable delivery. Belt high knee lift into a smaller sit but drifts well and works with pace down the mound. Smaller stride and a taller finish. Compact arm action that works to a normal 3/4 slot. Ran the fastball up to 79 and mixed in a developing high 60s slider. Pounded strikes and worked fast having a 10 pitch inning.
