5/18/2024 6:35:55 PM

Luis Carlos Cruz (2027 C, Bayamon, PR) found the first hit of the game crushing a middle-middle FB down the LF line for a double showing he can turn a quick barrel through the zone.

Allem Borrero (2025 OF, Hormigueros, PR) had a tough left-on-left AB and found barrel on an 82 mph FB grounding it hard into the 3-4 hole for a single. Standout strength to the hands supply some easy impact.

Leamsi Montanez (2025 C, Arroyo, PR) also found a quality left-on-left barrel staying through a low 80s FB nicely and driving it into the LC gap for a standup double showing some sneaky all fields power.

Isaac Jose Carrasquillo Sola (2025 OF, Caguas, PR) found two line drive barrels. He turned on a fastball for a line drive to right and kept his hands tight on an inside FB and punched it into left for a soft LD single.

Pablo David Figueroa Roman (2026 RHP, Río Grande, PR) threw three strong innings showing a lively FB. He ran it up to 92 early, settling in the 88-90 range where he overpowered hitters with it, producing a ton of in-zone whiff. Also flashed a mid-upper 70s breaker that varied in shape but got a couple of buckled takes and whiffs.

John Gonzalez (2025 LHP, Saint Cloud, FL) gave up a couple runs but flashed upside with the stuff striking out 5 in his 3 innings. He ran his fastball up to 88 that has some natural run and showed a high spin SL/CB with a quality CH.

Alian Martinez (2026 RHP, Guaynabo, PR) threw three strong innings, pounding the strike zone with a low-mid 80s FB (T85) and flashed a developing low 70s slurvy breaker.

Pablo G. Vargas Díaz (2025 OF, Hatillo, PR) had a hard GB shot back up the box showing a compact/direct stroke from the left side. He also ran it up 85 on the mound showing a loose/quick arm.

Keyvan Velázquez Rivera (2025 OF, San Juan, PR) turned on a fastball and shot it down the LF line for a standup double. Keeps it simple and direct with the hands.

Milton Hiram Cintrón Rivera (2026 C, Villalba, PR) turned on an 84 mph fastball for a LD single to right showing an easy/rhythmic LH stroke.

Yeickxel Rivera (2026 C, Ponce, CL) doubled deep down the LF line showing some easy pullside intent power.
