Drew Fillenworth (2026 RHP, Norway, IA) is not afraid to attack hitters while on the mound. He has a loose shoulder and an easily repeatable motion that he uses to run his fastball up to 84 mph. He has a great feel for a hammer 12-6 curveball, showing the ability to land it for strikes early in the count and placing it down out of the zone for swings and misses to put hitters away. He does a nice job of tunneling his changeup, making it a tough pitch to see out of his hand.
Blake Hoffer (2026 LHP, Glenview, IL) has a lanky frame with plenty of projection left and takes a strong presence to the mound. He has a loose arm with good hand speed that allows him to run the fastball up to 84 mph. He does a nice job of repeating his motion and showed excellent feel for all of his pitches. He does a nice job of maintaining his arm speed throughout his delivery no matter what pitch it is, making it tough on opposing hitters to determine which way the ball is going to go.
Hudson Dinger (2026 3B, West Fargo, ND) is a strong athlete that maximizes his strengths on the mound. He drives down the mound well and is explosive with his fastball, running it up to 84 mph consistently. He pairs this heater with an 11-5 curveball that showed solid two plane break. He is able to work both pitches to both sides of the strike zone as well.
Anderson Schirm (2025 C, Pella, IA) translated his batting practice round into the simulated game at bats today, roping a pair of impressive line drives. His first base hit was a higher velocity fastball that he was on time for and sent back up the middle. His second base hit he did a nice job of tracking a late count curveball before sending it over the infields head. He is also advanced defensively, receiving velocity and blocking balls with ease.
Tatem Telfer (2025 LHP, Hedrick, IA) is a polished pitcher on the mound, featuring four great pitches, making it tough for opposing hitters to get comfortable. He features an exploding fastball up to 87 mph that he works to both sides of the plate confidently. He primarily goes to a curveball with 1-7 shape for his off-speed but also works a slider with horizontal break off the fastball. He showed the ability to land a fading change up for strikes. He is poised on the mound and knows how to pitch.
