In a year in which baseball wasn't played around the entire country due to COVID-19, there were still plenty of standouts during the 2020 circuit. Taking precautions throughout the summer and fall, there were a number of players that stood out in a big way. We take a look back at the top performers at PG events with our annual PG Tournament All-Americans by age group, as we feature our 13u players today. Of the players who are on our first and second teams, 15 of them took part in either the 12u or 13u PG Select Festival, cementing their names as prominent prospects moving forward, as we look players within the 2025 graduating class.

Within the 13u level of baseball, some members of the class of 2025 were still eligible to play in the 12u age division, and given that the field in which they play on is of smaller dimensions, those players who played exclusively at the 12u level will be featured in tomorrow's 12u All-Tournament Team.

Cameron Uzzillia leads the way with 12 all-tournament selections this past circuit, an impressive feat matched by the 13u Tournament Pitcher of the Year, Danny Machado, who showed real two-way potential of his own. Versatile Jacob Kendall, the 13u Tournament Player of the Year, follows with 11 selections alongside Emery Coleman, while Sam Brown, Rivers Kurland and Dylan Passo round out the group of players with double-digit ATTs with 10.

While the All-Tournament Team selections are impressive, so too are some of the individual stats these players put up this circuit season, whether it's Samuel Cozart's 91 mph fastball at the WWBA World Championships playing against players almost five years older, Jacob Kendall's 74 hits, Kaden Hart's eight home runs, William Hamacher's 49 stolen bags or Patton Pinkins' mere 0.768 WHIP, this group has some real eye-opening stats as a whole.

Right-hander Danny Machado, who proved to be a true two-way talent this summer as he hit .331-1-49 with 25 stolen bags, was even more impressive on the mound, helping earn him the 2020 13u Tournament Pitcher of the Year honors. Still 13 for another month, Machado has already seen his fastball run up to 80 mph, and in a span of almost 50 innings pitched the young Floridian struck out an impressive 65 batters while going 3-1 with a 1.216 WHIP.

As mentioned above, Jacob Kendall led the entire age group with 74 base hits on the year, barreling his way towards the 13u Tournament Player of the Year honors. A versatile defender who has taken defensive reps both up the middle in the infield and outfield, Kendall was a consistent offensive force throughout the circuit, leading the First-Team selections in both double and triples, tied for the lead in RBI, and finished second in stolen bags.
