2022 Sophomore National Showcase (2025 Grads)
Porter Berryman is a 2025 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-11 173 lb. frame from Lilburn, GA who attends Parkview. Medium athletic build with lots of room and time to get stronger. Works from the stretch with a rock back and fire delivery, drives down the slope very well and gets into his hips to help drive his delivery. Fastball worked in the low 80's and topped out at 83 mph, threw his fastball very consistently for strikes and projects plus command. Curveball is a potential outstanding pitch, gets very good hard spin and big sweeping break, has lots of swing and miss potential. Also throws a developing change up. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
