Parker Lakey is a 2025 SS/RHP/IF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Harrisburg, NC who attends Hickory Ridge. Big and strong young build. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a hanging leg lift load, rotational swing with good strength in his hands, creates some barrel whip and can get some carry to the middle of the field, strength shows well in his swing. 7.79 runner in the sixty. Third base tools on defense, long arm action with nice carry across the diamond, charges the ball well and can change his arm slot, can continue to work on improving his foot and lower half quickness. Also pitched, has solid mechanics that he repeats well enabling him to throw consistent strikes. Steady low 80's fastball topped out at 83 mph with some sink and run. Tended to get under his curveball. Has a chance as a two-way player.
