Jayce Fine is a 2023 C/3B, MIF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Valencia, CA who attends Hart. Medium frame. Strong build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.75 seconds. Primary catcher, has a low side saddle set up, displayed a quick transition and release with accurate throws. Also worked out in the infield, moved well laterally to both sides of the field, had good hands and footwork with a quick transition. Right-handed hitter, hits from a narrow even base with a small leg kick, hands sit even with shoulder. Has a smooth quiet swing that showed the ability to consistently make contact. Good student.
