Trae Dover is a 2025 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-1 215 lb. frame from Clover, SC who attends York Comprehensive. Large, physical build with dense strength and time to refine athleticism. Primary 1B, working through angles methodically and handling all the plays expected. Glove out front to deep funnel, nice transition to the midline and quick release on throws. Good strength in arm presently, up to 76 mph across diamond. Secondary RHP, using compact arm action hiding the ball a bit and short stride to foot strike. Rotational type delivery, filling up the zone and generating some good run on his fastball. FB up to 76 mph with lower, sinking type spin creating that run. CB/CH combo was effective, with tumbling action on the breaker in the mid-60's and fade on the change up. Worked quick on the mound getting outs in game action and collected a couple hits as well. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
