Gavin Lachance is a 2029 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Wesley Chapel, FL who attends Cypress Creek. Medium frame with a lean and athletic build. Ran a 7.25 second 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, quick and athletic mover with a clean delivery, longer arm action through a three-quarters slot and easy out of the hand, shows life to the fastball into the upper-70s, can spin the breaking ball well with depth and good spin profile already. Throws strikes with good traits to both pitches. Plays some first base and outfield too, clean fundamentally at both spots with a good arm, fields out front with confidence and overall handles well. Left-handed hitter, high hand start and works slightly uphill, line drive approach and projects to have more impact.
