Scotty Russell is a 2026 RHP/1B, 3B with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Alpine, CA who attends Granite Hills. Primary right-handed pitcher with a medium frame and mature physical build. Recorded a 8.39 second 60-yard dash time. Operates solely out of the stretch with short-arm action and high 3/4 arm-slot delivery. Fastball up to 78 mph and breaking ball with solid depth in the low-60s. Works the arm side half of the plate with both offerings. Secondary corner infielder with present early glove presentation and deliberate actions moving around. Rushed actions on throws across the diamond at 72 mph and throws from first base with smoother actions at 79 mph. Right-handed hitter with a narrow base and big leg-lift trigger stride. Some impact with strength through the zone when timing is sequenced and contact out front. Present barrel strength over barrel awareness with strength in frame. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
