Carson Tew is a 2026 2B/RHP/IF with a 5-6 115 lb. frame from Dunn, NC who attends Midway. Smaller frame with a lean build proving to be athletic. Ran a 7.48 second sixty yard dash. Primary Second Baseman, solid footwork showing as he rounds the baseball with feel. Gathers out front before transferring. Does a good job getting momentum to target during transition. Accurate across the diamond as he threw it 68 mph. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, side-step into a higher leg lift out of the windup. Leans back a bit at the top before dropping and driving. Uphill released from a higher slot as he stays direct to dish. Easy arm stroke and projects plenty more velocity with strength gain. Fastball around the zone up to 69 mph and the only pitch shown. Right-Handed Hitter, spread out a bit while balanced. Hands get deep into a short stride as the weight falls back. Slightly uphill cut as he looked to drive it into the gaps. Found some loud barrels and will generate more pop as the frame fills out physically. Great Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
