Kaden Cole is a 2024 RHP/2B/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Merrick, NY who attends Sanford H Calhoun. Medium, square shouldered frame with long limbs and a lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.96 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, shows rhythm to delivery with a full windup, looks to change tempos, works to a high three-quarters release point, occasionally gets mistimed with release. Fastball topped out at 77 mph with some cut action through the zone, taller finish and can continue to incorporate additional lower half into drive. Worked around the zone well, shows sweeping actions to curveball up to 65 mph and mixed with comfort. Short steps to the ball on the approach. in the outfield, some bend at waist, similar short arm action and shows nice present carry on throws with accuracy, true flight and repeats actions, can utilize additional lower half into finish. Right-handed hitter, begins with an open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing in the ox. Swings with intent and stays short to the ball, steep through zone at times but fast hands in stroke. Will refine a consistent path but shows bat speed, best when on a linear plane. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
