Kyle Fernandes is a 2025 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-11 163 lb. frame from Plantation, FL who attends Coral Glades. Recorded a 7.55 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher with a lean and athletic build. Employs a leg lift to waist level and a medium length arm action. Showed quality arm speed and released from a high-3/4 slot. Featured heavy fastball up to 82 mph with run. Showcased the ability to manipulate shape on the curveball with lots of depth. Held velocity during outing and complimented with nasty changeup that he dispplayed advanced feel for. Secondary first baseman and fielded with two hands out front while moving around the bag with comfort. Also worked out in the outfield and fielded off to side of right foot, released from higher slot with carry on throws. Left-handed hitter and starts from an upright stance with slightly open feet. Takes an inward toe tap to intitiate swing, uses a clean weight shift and employed a hands-oriented stroke. Produced line drives to the pull side often during the round. Tremendous student.
