Braeden Martin is a 2026 SS/2B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Columbia, MD who attends Archbishop Spalding. Slender young athletic build with lots of growing ahead of him. Left handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a deep hand load, gets into his back hip well, separates and rotates well, stays well connected, hits to all fields but hardest contact to the pull side, has barrel skills and some bat speed, career .400+ hitter in PG tournament play. 6.65 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, moves easily and has fast feet, gets to his spots early and takes nice angles to the ball, lots of quick twitch actions, clean hands at the ball, has enough arm strength. Will be very interesting to see him play when he's started to fill out and get stronger. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
