2025 PG Underclass All-American Games
Tyler Shindo is a 2027 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Honolulu, HI who attends IMG Academy. Smaller athletic build with some compact strength. Switch-hitter at the plate. Left-handed, very spread base, high hands, small double toe tap trigger, direct swing, contact oriented idea, on the barrel often working through the middle of the field, on time and gets the barrel out, simple swing. Right-handed, mirrored set, developing strength and timing from this side, longer and rotational, looser and quicker from the left. Primary shortstop, good feet, solid arm across, coordinated and accurate, clean arm action, made plays on the move with no issues, just balanced and smooth. Both-handed pitcher but only threw with the left in game action. Three-quarters slot, standard shape to the curveball, inline down the slope, repeatable and simple motion, sitting in the upper 70's and peaked at 81-mph, drew a whiff on the change in the lower half of the zone. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
