Will McGinnis is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Jonesboro, GA who attends Creekside Christian. Ran a 7.73 second sixty. Primary outfielder with a long lean build. Waits back on the ball in the outfield playing it under control on the side as he gathers with a short shuffle. The ball comes out on time with a short arm stroke. Does a nice job getting on top of the ball with developing arm speed and more carry to come in the lower half. Worked in the stretch only on the mound with a belt high leg lift and same short arm action as the releases by the ear. Gets into the lower half well at the top of the delivery with a slight tuck before dropping and driving down the hill. Stayed on line well to the plate with a lot of strikes in the fastball at 71-73 mph with occasional arm side run to the outer half against left-handed hitters. Mixed in a young breaking ball showing developing spin traits and arm speed. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even base and the hands set infant of the face. Keeps the bat path on a mostly level plane with young bat speed impacting the baseball best to the pull side. Excellent student.
