Tucker Thompson is a 2028 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Pendergrass, GA who attends Jefferson. Big athletic build, very strong for his age. Left handed hitter, starts from a medium stance with a small leg raise load, has good rhythm into his swing, creates bat speed with good extension in his swing, middle to pull side approach with a power upside, showed the power in the games with a home run. 7.98 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, fields the ball cleanly and stays balanced well, throws from a high arm slot with developing carry on his throws, gets behind this throws well. Took a turn on the mound, has a closed windup with an early turn and coil, can get more drive to the plate from his strong lower half, tends to rotate and open early with his front side. Fastball was in the upper 70's and topped out at 80 mph with some cutting life. Threw a big breaking slow curveball with 11/5 shape as his breaking ball. Power is his primary tool. Very good student.
