Michael Pena is a 2025 RHP/3B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends George Washington Educational Campus. Larger square shouldered young build with lots of strength potential. Works from a full windup with a quick side step start, full long arm action in back, will vary his leg lift and timing for deception. Fastball worked mostly in the upper 60's, topped out at 71 mph early, gets some arm side running life and is thrown for plenty of strikes. Also throws a soft big breaking curveball as his off-speed. Right handed hitter, starts with low hands and a leg lift trigger, tends to pull off his front side early, short inside hand path with middle of the field contact. Corner infielder on defense when not on the mound.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
