Jack Manning is a 2025 RHP/1B with a 6-3 250 lb. frame from Parkville, MO who attends Rockhurst. Big physical frame. Ran a 7.90 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with traditional drop and drive mechanics. Works downhill with the fastball that topped at 84, locating it to both sides of the plate. Developing feel for spin on the curve, and a change up with late drop. Physicality with the arm speed to develop into a power pitcher with added development. Also worked out at first base showing average footwork, fundamental glove placement squaring up to the baseball and accuracy throwing around the diamond. Hit from a wide base with load stride timing, swings uphill, concentrated effort to lift the baseball to the opposite field. Takes an inside out swing with developing feel for the barrel. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
