Gunner Bogard is a 2027 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Kingwood, TX who attends Kingwood. Slender young build with plenty of room to get stronger. 7.31 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, fields the ball out front cleanly with a one hand gather, deep arm action with an over the top release, tends to throw uphill, developing arm strength. Left handed hitter, sets up in a narrow and open stance with a big hand drop into his swing and a medium size leg raise, lots going on into his swing, sprays the ball to all fields depending on his timing on a pitch. Took a turn on the mound, works from a high leg raise delivery with a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was in the low 70's with some running life, topped out at 74 mph. Also threw a firm change up with a well tunneled arm stroke and a soft curveball with some 1/7 depth. Good student.
