CJ Hansford is a 2026 RHP/UT with a 5-11 173 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Lake Travis. Primary Outfielder with a lean and athletic frame. Works to the ball well and fields it out front with one hand to side. Feel to work through it and carry momentum through ball. Ball comes out well with low liner accurate throws. Was up to 89 from the outfield from the full arm swing. Also ran a 6.99 sixty. Also pitched throwing from a standard 3/4 slot. Drop and drive mechanics to the plate. Fastball worked up to 88 and played firm. Slider upper-70s with good bend to it and bite. Went to a change in the low-80s to lefties with good fading action. Bigger breaking ball in the mid-70s as well. Left-handed hitter with a balanced base. Uses a small stride into contact for timing and rhythm. Smooth lefty swing with big feel for the barrel and a strong middle of the field approach. Can impact it to all fields and swing works with his approach. Showed good bad speed as well. Hit in game and was on the barrel against live pitching often spraying it line to line with authority. Should continue to hit in the box. Good Student. Named to the Texas High School All-State TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
