Justin Varboncoeur is a 2025 C/RHP/3B with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Hendersonville, TN who attends Hendersonville HS. Recorded a 7.84 second 60-yard dash time. Smaller frame with lots of room and time to fill out and add strength. Primary catcher with good balance and quickness out of the crouch. Good exchange with solid throws and a best recorded pop time of 2.10 seconds. Secondary shortstop who fields with two hands out in front. Twitch and quickness to his hands and throws from a higher arm slot. Gets rid of the ball quickly and moves well laterally. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a compact delivery, high arm slot, and short stride down the mound. Feel for glove side with the fastball and showed a 12/6 curveball with depth. Slider functions as a cutter. Right-handed hitter with a big leg lift trigger forward and inside path to contact. Short swing and can turn the barrel over to pull. Line drive oriented approach and results.
