2023 High School All State Select Championship (2026-2027 Grads)
Dominic Naylor is a 2027 SS/RHP, 3B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Cedar Park, TX who attends Cedar Park. A bigger and physical build with strength showing in the frame. Ran a 7.19 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop who worked well, getting the hands out in front as he funneled through the operation. Quick funnel. Good actions on the dirt, showing the footwork off. Showed some effort in the arm on throws at 87 mph across the diamond, boasting above-average arm strength. Also worked out as an outfielder, showing tons of effort working to it with good arm speed. He gets the glove down early and funnels into throws that came out at 82 mph. A right-handed hitter with a physical look in the box. He uses a big leg lift trigger, striding forward and transferring the weight well. It's a violent swing with a ton of juice off the barrel, whipping hard through contact. He was able to impact pull side quite well with some loud results. He pieced together a good round of BP swings. Transferred that in-game with some loud results. He was able to barrel up the ball well, showing off the juice with a home run as well as one drove to the warning track for a loud out. Produced a 99 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Took to the mound as well, working from the right side with a squared delivery. He worked from a higher three-quarters arm slot, showing some quickness in his move down the slope. He had intent to his actions. The fastball was up to 82 mph and had good arm-side run to it. Paired it with a mid-60s breaker that had a bigger 11-5 shape to it with a developing shape. Showed a harder slider in the mix as well, with some bite to it. Athletic and strong mound presence. Threw a scoreless inning of work with 1 walk and 1 strikeout to his credit. Named to 2023 HS All-State Championships TP List.
