Blake Ragsdale is a 2027 SS/MIF, OF with a 5-11 168 lb. frame from Burr Ridge, IL who attends Lyons Twp. Medium, athletic build with room to continue adding strength. Primary middle infielder, super athletic movements with a bounce to the actions and quick first step, gets to all spots with ease and works around the baseball nicely with excellent feel for angles. Soft hands fielding out front with firm throws across the diamond, all the makings of a high end defensive middle infielder. Right-handed hitter, medium base with a high back elbow, quick hands through the zone with a direct path to contact. Uses the ground well with controlled violence to the operation and obvious rhythm. Sprayed hard liners into both gaps and will only continue to see the power tick up. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to TCU. Named to 2024 14u PG Select Festival.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
