Connor Donlin is a 2024 RHP/1B, OF, UT with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Rancho Cucamonga, CA who attends Method Charter. Medium, square shouldered frame with a high waist and long limbs, lean build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.92 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works exclusively out of the stretch, leg lift just below belt, deliberate tempo with late effort; long arm action through the back working to a three-quarters release point, generates some finish towards the plate. Fastball topped out at 71 mph, short running life to arm side, pitches to contact and worked around the zone, can continue to incorporate additional lower half into drive. Landed curveball for strikes up to 59 mph with 12-6 shape and mixed it comfortably. Moves to the ball well in the outfield, works through it with footwork, taller at release, gets on top of throws, projects with added strength; fields ball out front at first base, similar arm action on throws across diamond, carry will continue to approve, shows accuracy. Right-handed hitter, begins with a tall stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a hanging leg lift trigger, barrel starts deep but does a nice job of staying short with his swing overall. Best contact when working on a linear plane, turned around an extra-base hit in live action to pull side. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
