Ryan Johnson is a 2030 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-0 140 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA who attends Cambridge. Lean build with plenty of physical projection remaining. 7.80 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop, works through the baseball at a deliberate pace and tends to wait back on it. Showed developing feel for adjusting the glove and arm on the run. Has good arm strength for his age. Delivered accurate throws across the diamond while recording arm strength up to 78 mph. Right-handed batter, starts in a wide stance with a low back elbow and low hand set-up. Takes a very compact path to the baseball, leading with the knob of the bat. Shifts his weight in a timely manner with good feel for finding the barrel. Produced fairly consistent line drive impact up the middle and to the opposite field. Has solid bat speed for his age with more power to project on as he adds strength. Posted an exit velocity of 79 mph.
