Cash Gerecke is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Bakersfield, CA who attends Liberty. Features a medium sized frame that shows quality athleticism and developing strength. Ran a 7.14 60-yd dash. In the OF, showed quality actions. Attacks the ball well showing good coordination and body control, working in sync. Receives it clean and out front and shows a quick transfer. Displayed quality strength to the arm, running it up to 87 where it flashed decent carry and consistent accuracy. Offensively, operates from an even base and shows an easy simple hand/lower-half move. It's a compact LH stroke that maintains balance. Works the barrel on an uphill path with flashes of above avg. bat speed for his level. Turns behind it well while creating leverage in the lower-half. Was consistently on-barrel throughout his BP round and stayed through the gaps. On the mound, he showed a developing operation. Side steps into a hip high lift and shows a more tall/fall type delivery. Shorter stride down the mound. Arm works with medium length out the back with quality arm speed to a higher 3/4 slot. FB worked into the low 80s, T83 where it had some carry type shape. Mixed in an upper 60s, T70 SL that had shorter shape that he dropped slot and armspeed on. Inconsistent command throughout the outing. Named to Top Prospects List.
