2025 PG WWBA Workout Showcase (July 5)
Braylon Edwards is a 2028 SS/RHP with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Madison, MS who attends Madison Central. Medium frame with good musculature, big time life to his actions and plenty of time to add more physicality. Ran the 60-yard dash in an impressive 6.54 seconds. Primary position infielder, moving easy on his feet, showing lateral range at a high level and come get the ball with ease. Works the glove off the right side a bit and uses two hand funnel to the midline. Sound arm path with good present strength and more to come, feeding the ball across the diamond up to 84 mph with nice accuracy. Showed the ability to handle the tougher plays like the slow roller at a high level. Switch hitter working from a medium inline stance from the left side, tighter handset and a bit late timing wise. Rotational operation here but showed promise when the hands delivered the barrel out front. From the right side, similar initial stance with a flat barrel across the shoulders to start. Medium leg lift and showing nice bat speed from this side. Peppering line drives gap to gap with backspin, very good round this way. Intriguing athlete with a speed oriented game who is also an outstanding student. Named to the PG WWBA Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
