Nathan Hinnant is a 2028 SS/RHP, 2B, OF with a 5-5 130 lb. frame from Buford, GA who attends Buford. Young, compact build with plenty of time to continue growing into the frame. Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, upright and slightly open stance, short stride out into contact and really simple parts to the swing. Works right back up the middle in the approach with solid control of the barrel and developing strength on display. Primary shortstop, athletic actions with a bounce to the first step, hands get down early and fields with a clean two hand funnel. Higher three-quarters release point and developing accuracy around the bag, recorded throws across up to 73 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, quick leg lift to belt level, short arm action to a high three-quarters slot. Repeatable delivery and in sync throughout. Got the fastball up to 75 mph (2102 RPM) and sat in the low-70s with slight arm-side life. Spun an 11-5 shaped curveball as well with spins up to 1980 RPM. Also worked out in the outfield and showed solid arm strength with the same bounce to the movements we saw in the infield.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
