Maksim Neshov is a 2028 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Canton, MI who attends Undecided. Compact, athletic build with room to continue adding strength onto the frame. Good runner, ran a 6.78 60-yard dash. Switch hitter, similar setup from both sides with high hands in the stance. Medium leg lift trigger from the left-side with obvious bat speed and twitch, ball jumps to both gaps. Toe tap trigger from the right-side with similar path and same bat speed and results as the left-side. Primary outfielder, charges in hard and breaks down when fielding, one hand gather on the side of the frame, lower slot release with arm strength and accuracy, recorded throws up to 81 mph. Secondary left-handed pitcher, side steps into a belt high leg lift out of the windup, compact arm action to a three-quarters slot. Pounded the zone with a two pitch mix, fastball got up to 79 mph (1903 RPM) and sat in the 76-78 range. Curveball shows 1-7 shape, up to 66 mph (1581 RPM). Selected to the 2024 14u PG Select Festival.
