2024 Puerto Rico National Showcases Qualifier
Carlos Rivera Fortuno is a 2025 OF with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Guaynabo, PR who attends El Shaddai Christian Academy. Outstanding athletic build with present strength and plenty more to come. 6.54 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, very good arm, deep takeaway from a clean gather, ball really comes out of his hand easily, combination of speed and arm and athleticism will play high defensively. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight spread stance with a high and deep hand load, gets out on his front side early, tends to get grooved and mechanical in his approach. Great athlete, development with the bat will be key to his future ceiling. Good student. Named to the Puerto Rico National Showcases Qualifier Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
