Bryce Phillips is a 2028 RHP/1B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Corpus Christi, TX who attends London. Long athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. Works out of the stretch with belt high knee tuck and a quick drive down the mound, short stride out front with an upright release. Fastball topped out at 89 mph with good running life, worked a short cutter off his fastball with some feel and effectiveness. Curveball was his best pitch with 2600+ rpm spin and tight 11/5 biting action. Created some tumble on his change up. Starter profile with all the pitches and an out pitch in the curveball, has thrown 67% strikes in PG play this year. Right handed hitter, sets up in an upright stance with a high hand load, swings hard and flashes some power, best contact to right center field when he gets his hands extended. Good student.
