Romeo De La Torre is a 2029 2B/RHP/SS with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Corona, CA who attends Corona. Recorded a 7.43 60-yard dash. Primary infielder with some present strength to the frame. Stays low to the ground and took efficient angles to balls in the infield. Has feel in the dirt and fielded the backhand clearly, showing good adjustments with the glove throughout. Quick transition and worked at game speed with good arm strength across, recording throws up to 82 mph. Right-handed hitter and starts from a wider base. Uses a big leg lift and swings the bat to do damage. Stayed to the middle of the field and showed a quick bat. Swing is well sequenced and ball comes off the barrel hard. Has real feel for the barrel that showed up in game as well. Recorded an 88 mph exit velocity. Secondary right-handed pitcher and begins delivery with a leg lift to waist level. Lands on line at foot strike and uses a medium length arm action, releasing from a mid-3/4 slot. Drop and drive delivery and sinks the fastball up to 77 mph. Slider is tight and an effective offering.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
