Lucas Badt is a 2022 C with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Pacific Palisades, CA who attends Santa Monica. Large frame with a lean, slender type build showing room to fill out physically down the road. Ran a 7.54 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, sitting down in his stance athletically, proving to have some flexibility. Sure handed as he received the baseball well. Gained ground on throw downs and was accurate to the bag. Recorded a 2.10 second pop time during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, starting balanced as he does a good job of staying short and simple to the baseball. Created some separation and looked to drive it back up the middle of the field. Loud when he found the barrel as he stayed linear through the zone. Outstanding Student.
