Zion Martinez is a 2027 MIF/RHP/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Yucaipa, CA who attends Norco.Slender medium build with some wiry strength Left handed hitter at the plate, sets up in a narrow stance with a small leg raise trigger, simple load and timer, has very fast hands and creates bat speed, plenty of carry to the pull side, stronger than he looks and it translates into hard impact. 7.21 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, smooth athletic actions, rounds the ball well, clean exchanges and a quick release, has all the actions, made accurate throws with game type actions in drills. Excellent student.
