Carter Van Orden is a 2024 OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends North Cobb Christian. Van Orden works from a medium athletic build with additional room to fill out the frame. Exclusively from his primary OF spot, Van Orden showcased controlled mechanics and was fundamentally sound with clean glove work and accurate throws on the bag. He made plays asked of him with developing arm strength ultimately topping out at 79 mph. Offensively, the righty started from a wider base with a wrapped hand set producing contact back up the middle of the field. The approach for Van Orden was contact oriented with power potential becoming more prominent in the future. Ran a 6.81 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
