Billy Nichols is a 2024 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Oradell, NJ who attends Bergen Catholic. Long, slender build with some lean muscle throughout his frame with more strength remaining to be added. Clocked a 4.33-second thirty time. Primary third baseman, works behind the ball with a deep fielding funnel with an elongated process. Over-the-top slot, showing the ability to change slots as he went up the middle. Flashes of athleticism during his defensive round with improvement of quickness needed. Accurate across the diamond, up to 75 mph. Right-handed hitter, sets up with an even, balanced stance, utilizing a leg-lift-trigger to engage lower half. Uphill swing plane with flashes of gap-to-gap juice, tapping into his natural strength to generate bat speed and barrel whip. Produced some loud contact throughout his BP round. Rotational lower half, getting stuck on his backside at times. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
