Colin Jones is a 2024 SS/2B/OF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends A3 Academy. Medium frame with twitchy, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.47 seconds. Switch-hitter, larger stride from right side with loose hands through load and launch, even plane to stroke with approach to spray liner contact, torques well into swing from left side, better bat speed from the right side in this look, more opposite-field approach with hands on inside path from the left side. Primary middle infielder, clean hands with good range to either side, moves well and stays balanced, clocked up to 89 mph on throws. Also threw 89 mph from the outfield. Very good student.
