Zack Langer is a 2022 SS/2B with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Fountain Hills, AZ who attends Fountain Hills. Medium, square shouldered frame with a lean and projectable build, has room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the ball out front, works into a shorter arm action through the back to a three-quarters slot, young actions, shows energy to actions, arm strength and carry will continue to develop across the diamond. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a spread stance and a high hand set and lower back elbow at the plate; utilizes a contact oriented approach in the box with a short path to the ball. Keeps hands inside the ball, worked it around to all parts of the field, projects with added strength, best contact when getting the barrel out front. Very good student.
